Thanks, ian. I'm impressed that Brad Bell was able to put a tribute together so quickly. I hope it's done justly. Darlene Conley was, IS, a huge part of B&B's success. She will be missed, and I will have my tape and a box of tissues prepared for her tribute. I still can't believe she's gone

They aren't talking about writing off Sally. They are talking about a tribute to her at the end of the show. Probably like the one B&B and Y&R did after Bill Bell died. It will probably be a few months before they decide what to do with her character.

I will be sure to watch it right away. Usually I don't watch B&B first when I get home but I will on this date. I hope it's good because this seems a little to fast but I have faith Brad Bell will do right with this.

This is very fast :unsure: I'm thinking that Darlene Conley will be given a tribue at the end of the episode, like Y&R did with Bill Bell in May. I don't see the death being incorporated into the show for quite some time, due to story progression. I wonder how they'll explain Sally's death

Yeah that is what I thought too Drew.

I think it will be a tribute at the end and then we will see the big tribute within the next two months or so. They need to write it into story and there is no way they did it that quick.

Nope.

It's going to be a sad day as well. It's so sad to when a comic relief passes away. You try to remember their funny lives, but it's so hard because of the grief.

I wonder how much is down to her not being a Kobe creation, although she was written out when Long was still there. Trish not being a character who was prone to punching, slapping, and whoring around probably hurt her the most. Rebecca Hollen was very well suited to GL so the show lost something by not giving her more of a spotlight.
P&G moved her onto AW for about a year, but that part never went anywhere.

I just want to cosign all of that. Even though Genie did overact those Laura scenes, it still worked for me to heighten the sense of terror in the scenes. Same with Britt's reactions; KT normally isn't great at conveying genuine emotion, but she surprised me with her scenes on Thursday and Friday. And I also wondered if they were chem-testing Kristina and Jacinda. I wouldn't be against it, especially if they were setting up a triangle with Jacinda in the middle of Corinthos siblings Michael and Kristina.

Exactly. Sarah made Carly iconic. The phycology and toxic female traits she brought to Carly was masterful.
I'm surpised voters recived Laura's exchange with Dalton well. It came off as Karen-ish even if it was well deserved.
Sidwell is not that interesting of a villain to be involved in EVERYthing. Drew is better television. He should have ran for mayor and won to cause trouble long term. But, being Mayor helps keep Laura in the canvas.

And at the time in '83 when Trish steps into Spaulding, Alan and Vanessa are on the outs. Vanessa had wormed her way into a Vice Presidency at Spaulding after Amanda is booted out. (This is when she, Ross and Josh form LTA) But Van then turned around and tried to force Quentin out of town and Henry's life by making it look like he had informed Alan about Vanessa's double dealing in the Jocelyn Electronics deal (when she and Henry had blackmailed Alan, over the affair with Rita, into buying a company and got a kickback.) She left a memo outlining the deal on Alan's desk, and he then fired her. (Quint threatened to expose her actions to Henry, and tell him that she knew he was her brother. Vanessa backed off, telling Henry that she'd left the altered memo naming only her in an effort to protect him.
But back to Trish---I don't know why it didn't launch more story for Trish either. She and Ross were starting to get somewhere, and it went NOWHERE.
That's technically a lie---we all know the reason---The REVA vortex. The Lewises suddenly revolved all around REVA. Since Trish wasn't male, she wasn't going to be blinded by Reve's "charms".

Ursula returns repeatedly. I think she only stops appearing because Jill was hired on AMC. Her last may be a Rogue's Gallery jailbreak, but I can't remember.
Here she is in one of her return scenes. Christine Cromwell, Viki's fake daughter, was told that homeless people exist even in Paul Rauch's Llanview, and decides to go to the local homeless encampment to take photos. I find it very patronizing, to be honest, and I guess Ursula did too, as she goes on about her "first amendment rights" and gives Christine a beatdown! Ursula was before her time. Today she'd be in Congress.
The woman who played headcase Marsha Talbot on ATWT a few years earlier has a turn as one of the "good" homeless people, whose only request is to fix her hair before Christine exploits...er...photographs her.

Beginning in 1973, actress Sheila Scott initiated court proceedings against Everett three times, claiming her son Dale (born 1973) was fathered by him. The lengthy and complicated paternity suit ended in 1984 when a California Court of Appeals ruled in favor of Everett. The court stated:
Everett refused to take any more tests regarding paternity. He entered into a private financial settlement with Scott in 1973 but steadfastly maintained he was not Dale's father.[22][23][21][24] In 1991, Scott was sentenced to three months' probation following a guilty verdict of "harassing" Everett for 18 years, including death threats against him and his wife. She was ordered to undergo psychological testing and never to publicly declare that Everett was Dale's father.
