Yep multiple sources have her winning.

She is even winning the AI poll. We are likely to hear more reactions tomarrow and I will be curious to see what Nigel says. He often gives out hints. Jordin is his girl and she was pretty much the favorite of all the producers. I mean, I even noticed they give her the dramatic spotlight camera angles on all her songs. They love her.

Jordin will be the American Idol and it's not even close. America got it mostly right. I hope it's all true but it's coming from too many sources not to be.

Yeah, but that's been said before and people have been slapped in the face with complete shock when the exact opposite happens.

Do text message votes count in these prediction tallies? If not, that could make a pretty huge impact on the final results... all in Blake's favor.

I've never seen this show but I caught a recap on Today a few minutes ago.

The girl (Jordin?) kicked the guy's ass and then some. I HATE his Justin Timberlake 2001 end of "Pop" video with the beeping and bopping sounds.

But really, how much of a difference do text messages make? I'd like to find that out. I think they're a waste of time, but it brings in money so they won't stop them.

I'd like to see Idol limit phone calls like Dancing with the Stars does. I think that would make it a very different competition. Keep unlimited text messaging but eliminate letting someone call a hundred times. JMO.

Jordin will win by a landslide, although text messaging votes could narrow the margin, I just don't see how Jordin cannot win. Going into it, I knew Carrie would win even though Bo seemed to be the favorite, I knew Taylor would win even though Katharine should have (sorry but Taylor was NOT a great singer)

I want Blake to win. And I voted for him for about an hour straight - and unfortunately I always got through - which means the he wasn't overloaded with votes :(

I hated that last song - the songwriting contest winner. That was horrible for both performers IMO.

Jordin was HORRIBLE on Xtina's "Fighter" - but she was AMAZING on McBride's song.

I wouldn't mind Jordin winning - but I'm pulling for Blake.

I was too........

The whole time he was singing and when they'd do a close up on his face I'd be looking at his eyes to see if that really was eye makeup he was wearing. I wonder why he even wore it, it's not like he needs it or anything; and it didn't do a thing to make him look better or more like a "rocker"......

It would be nice if they did that, then there would be more realistic voting totals; and hopefully it would be more fair.......

LoL, there are so many complaints that Jordin doesn't put on enough of a stage show.

Why does it matter whether she stands in one place and performs or runs all over hell's half acre? Celine Dion stands in one place and sings... she's, perhaps, the most famous female musician on the planet!

Did everyone see her performance of "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You?" She moved around, she danced a bit... she was fantastic! She CAN move around, when she feels the need to do so. It just so happens that the majority of her songs are really vocal songs that require the best voice possible. Moving around and putting on a stage show compromises that sometimes -- as Blake has proven -- and so Jordin has made the smarter move of standing still and just belting it out. I don't go to concerts to see the dancing, I go to hear the MUSIC!

The only reason Blake puts on a stage show, IMO, is to make up for flawed vocals. He thinks it will divert attention away from his voice and people won't notice his severe lack of range. The boy can beatbox, and yes he can sing... but he's not good enough at the latter to win the competition, deservingly.

I could get up on stage and jump around or put on a fantastic, energetic stage show. Anyone can! That doesn't make Blake unique, or a standout in any way. The vocals are where the real gold lies. Fortunately for Jordin, she has them... Blake falls short.

Exactly Kenny. Martina McBride said it best when she told Jordin to stand still while singing "Broken Wing." You only move around when the song calls for it. Anyone that does it alot or relies on stage presence and performance is trying to cover up for a lack of vocals.

Anyway, the link below is to a reliable site that factors in text votes along with the phone votes. It has a very good track record so taking this along with all the other sources reporting a Jordin win tells me we are in for a good night. I also think Melinda fans went to Jordin's side and so did Lakisha fans who were voting for Melinda. Jordin got the diva vote like I thought she would, much like Fantasia did in season 3 after all the other divas were kicked off. I think alot of angry fans went to Jordin's side by default, not that she didn't deserve it. She OWNED last night.

America is too stupid to realize when you hear a song TEN TIMES A DAY ON THE RADIO like all Idols are played, performance and entertainment factor do not mean sh!t. The voice does. America is dumb, dumb, dumb.

TMZ has learned that Kelly -- and all winners from seasons past, except Fantasia -- will be back performing on the "American Idol" stage for tonight's finale.

Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Hicks are headed to the Kodak Theater, but Fantasia Barrino won't be, since she is headlining Oprah Winfrey's production of "The Color Purple" on Broadway.

Sources tell TMZ Gladys Knight will perform "Midnight Train to Georgia" with the top six female finalists, while Smokey Robinson will join the top six male finalists for a rendition of "Ooh Baby Baby." Most recently booted finalist Melinda Doolittle will sing with brother and sister gospel duo BeBe and CeCe Winans, while the hairiffic Sanjaya duets with Aerosmith's Joe Perry to the Kinks' "You Really Got Me." It's sure to be an unbeweavable night!

Beat-boxing finalist Blake Lewis will show off his mad skillz against rapper Doug E. Fresh, and then duet with fellow finalist and probable winner, Jordin Sparks, to the Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There." Since producers were able to finally get clearance to use Beatles music, a medley of Fab Four hits will be performed as well.

Luckily, we're told no one is expected to be exhumed a la Elvis on tonight's finale!

UPDATE: A well-placed source tells TMZ that anti-establishment rockers Green Day sold out and will be on the "American Idiot" "Idol" finale too!

    • It's such a shame that the conflict couldn't be resolved in a mature way between the two actors.. especially since Albee was a bigger asset for the show in terms of character and his popular will they/won't they pairing with Deborah Saxon. One of the things about Edge was that it was just as popular with male viewers as it was with women.  It's one of things I think the show forgot in the final year or two with the deemphasis on the male characters.

    • I don't really care about what the men are wearing, or not wearing.   What I care about is focusing on the writing and character development for each of the male characters. Andre really doesn't have a lot of character development that sets him apart from the other male characters except that he seems content to be degraded and mistreated by the elitist Dani.  I would like to know why a good looking younger guy like Andre would willingly be at the mercy of an emotional vampire such as Dani.   Martin, on the other hand, seems to have decent character development.. and it is partly due to how the actor chooses to recite his lines.  Martin was raised in a very privileged household and probably went to the best schools... so it makes sense that he would come across as thinking he was above everyone else.  Most people raised in a upper class situation as the Duprees would view themselves as better than others (it's the same trait Dani seems to employ on those she feels superior to). It makes me wonder how Nicole came out of that family being so warm and nurturing  when her family dynamics seemed very appearance oriented.
    • I know, right. I after just re-reading the thread, I'm like ooppph!
    • Lulu and Dante were divorced before her coma, but she was still in love with him.  He just didn't know.  They haven't been married for years.    I was pretty mixed about Lulu getting involved when it was just a child out there in the world, but now that she realizes it's Gio I am okay with her telling Dante.  It also is her son's sibling.  I still think it's BLQ's choice though.  Lulu is in a rough spot because I think Dante will be mad if she keeps it a secret and Chase, Brook, Lois, etc will be mad if Lulu tells. Without veering too far into the classic area of the show, I had no problem with Robin telling AJ about Michael.  It may not have *exactly* been her place, but she could see how Carly was manipulating the entire situation.  It also ruined her romantic relationship with Jason for good.  Jason and Sonny were furious with Robin and practically ran her out of town, so I think we were to believe she was the bad guy.  It was a bit out of character for Robin to spill, but KMc was leaving the show.
    • Rewatching/binging THE X-FILES Seasons 1 and 2 (almost done). So much fun re-experiencing, especially re-discovering some of the monster-of-the-week stories. THE WEST WING Seasons 1 and 2 as well - so good to rewatch now with 20 years more life experience and understanding. ALSO.... lol FOOTBALLERS' WIVES Season 3, which is just as bonkers as I remember and so so so so fun. I had forgotten about that iconic season cliffhanger. Good times. Excited to rewatch Seasons 4 and 5 since I remember so very little about them. Hope you've been enjoying!
