I kept holding out hope she would make a full recovery and we would see her onscreen again, but it wasn't meant to be.

I was hoping that I would go to bed, wake up, and this would all be a dream. I cannot believe that the last time we saw Darlene Conley on B&B was actually forever. Sally was BOLD and BEAUTIFUL. I can't believe this, it's just a tremendous lost to the daytime community. The Emmy's are on CBS this year. They better have something BIG for her, and also Ben. I don't want a cheap tribute like they gave to William J. Bell. I'm tired of the whole idea that "something is better than nothing." Especially when that something is a last minute half-assed job.

Rewatching Sally's response to Darla's death is somewhat theraputic. The way she stands outside the door and takes it all in. Its how we are all now that Darlene is gone.
