January 10, 200718 yr Member It's on right now and Halle is giving out the first award. Loved seeing the Hero cast!
January 10, 200718 yr Member I stopped watching these awards when they stopped airing the Soap category (which, of course, Days always won). I'll never forget the year Julia Roberts got up on stage and was just flipping out that the entire Days cast was seated behind her. And yes, I'm TOTALLY turning this into a Days thread . Eat it, [!@#$%^&*]es! Edited January 10, 200718 yr by Kenny
January 10, 200718 yr Member I want to watch it but our affiliate is showing a basketball game right now. It looks like it is just pre-empted until 9:00 if the game gets over on time.
January 10, 200718 yr Member I kinda hate that you know the winners right off the bat because they are the only ones in the audience! LOL. So obvious. I also hate that they stopped the soap category. Ugh.
January 10, 200718 yr Member Yay. Love Gina Tognoni! I thought I heard her name! It just started. Is she a presenter or something?
January 10, 200718 yr Member She was doing something on the red carpet and was seen inside after Kenny Chesney perform. She introduced the Queen Latifah makeover segment (Rob Bogue was also in it). It sucks they skipped some of the awards. Would of loved to see Carrie Underwood win two awards!
January 10, 200718 yr Member I watched it. Halle Berry was SMOKIN'! I like watching these shows for all the weird, awkward moments, like Jennifer Aniston/Vince Vaughn or those two dudes from Grey's Anatomy that got into a fight and see how they handle their issues. I wonder if The Class winning an award will help its prospects for returning next season? They can use all the help they can get, espcially since CBS has shortened their season to like 18 episodes.
January 10, 200718 yr Member I watched it again this year, and each year I tell myself it will be my last year watching. I wonder why they got rid of the Soap category, it was one of the few catagories I looked forward too...... Kenny Chesney gives me the creeps, and he needs to keep his hands to himself; and quit trying to paw all over Emily Procter...... I Laughed My Ass Off at Wanda Sykes when she basically said that you know who the winners are because they are the only ones there, she's just too funny for words...... A bit off topic I know, BUT I loved Wanda's show Wanda At Large........ Edited January 10, 200718 yr by Rhiannon
January 10, 200718 yr Member Wanda was funny, the show never keeps the same catagories...the soap one will be back again it comes and goes...
January 10, 200718 yr Member A bit off topic I know, BUT I loved Wanda's show Wanda At Large........ Yeah, Wanda is a riot. They need to have her on "Old Christine" more often. By the way, did you realize that Detective SmokesALoT aka Detective Ashtray aka Detective HotForPaul from Y&R was on "Wanda At Large" as Wanda's friend? LOL! Tammy Lauren looks rough now, unless it's just the character.
