YR credits are like this:

Headwriter

Lynn Latham

Co-Head

Scott Hamner

Associate Heads and still writing scripts (dialog) not breakdowns

Gottesfeld/Bennett

Breakdown Editor/Breakdown Writer

Lyndsey Dufour

Script Editor

Natalie Slater

Episode Breakdown/Script writer

James Stanley

Marina Alburger

The confusion is in the last category...sometimes no names are listed in the episode breakdown/script category

When that happens, it's because one or more of the writers that are always listed wrote the breakdown/script. When no one is listed in this last category, it's usually a Dufour breakdown and Gottesfeld/Bennett script. When Stanley or Ahern/MacLaughin are listed in that category without another writer, that means the breakdown writer was listed and the scriptwriter was Gottesfeld/Bennett.

My DOOL writer prediction is that: Paula Cwikly replaces Meg Kelly as co-head and Meg gets a scriptwriting job; Jodie Scholz will be out of a job.

I, too think Paula is going to DAYS. I would love to see her as co- HW, I just don't know if it's going to happen.

Noooooooooooo! I love her scripts! (while I have no opposition to Meg Kelly no longer being co-head)

I did want to check in here though to see what people are expecting DOOL writing staff shakeup-wise under Ed Scott because I thought it was weird that Bettina Bradbury and Cydney Kelly each had two scripts this week.

OMG! Hogan got rid of Beth? WTF?! The show really needs someone like her.

I hope Beth goes to another soap soon, she was too unappreciated at Days. I can't believe someone hasn't forced Hogan to fire that trash Meg Kelly yet.

I'm not surprised to see Judy Tate go to Days, she was one of the first people Hogan hired at ATWT. They seem to have a good relationship.

Yeah, I was really surprised and sad to hear about Beth's departure. She was a producer and writer from the 80's to early 90's, so she had that first hand knowledge of that time period.

Judy Tate coming to DAYS isn't a surprised because of the Hogan connection. I hope she knows DAYS' history very well.

Too bad Jeanne Ford didn't last at ATWT. I know she's a good writer. Maybe she'll show up at another soap. My wish is for her to come back to DAYS though.

I don't remember saying it was big news. I believe all I said was the next writers update would come on September 1st. You guys are the ones that thought it was big news and I kept saying that there weren't going to be any head writing changes.

I guess next time I'll just post what I can when I can without any teases.

I knew it wasnt Jean news but I was hoping Leah Lamian was out..something big.....Ford never impressed me with her scripts. Judy Tate will be missed though.

I appreciate these little writer updates you give us, Toups. I don't recall you ever saying it was going to be huge news. The very fact that you've said it was nothing major a few posts back should've been enough to tip some people off.

Do continue with the teases though. :)

Here are the updates:

DAYS - Beth Milstein Out

HUGE MISTAKE.

And I mean.....HUGE.

This show is not going to recover under Hogan. It's just not.

As for Jeanne Marie Ford---maybe she can take her corny ass back to Walton's Mountain now.

I'm not a fan.
