Sounds like Sara is an AMC fan from way back:

From her blog

http://saradoestheemmys.blogs.friendster.com/

Over the years, I have probably spent more time with their characters than I have with my own family. I have grown up with Cady's character, All My Children's ultimate good girl from the sticks. When I was in junior high school, she fell in love with Tad Martin. She left the show a couple times, came back, and I'm sure I'll be watching when she marries Tad for the fifth (?) time.

Seems we have an ex Y&R writer on AMC now Sara A. Bibel was listed as an Associated Headwriter today

Interesting. Over the last two weeks I've only watched one episode (11/5) of AMC and it made me want to puke, so this is a total surprise to me. Do we know if she was just an addition or did she replace anyone on staff

(Amanda Beall! Amanda Beall! Puh-leeeeeze say Amanda L. Beall!)

She replaced Michelle Patrick who is now writing scripts.

Thank GOD! Not that she replaced MyMichelle, but that Patrick's now writing scripts. I LOVE her conversations. It's not just dialog, it's two people actually talking to one another. That's where the majority of her history is in script writing. So, if anybody on this show (besides Karen Lewis) knows this show and its history, it's Michelle Patrick.

Well you should watch today's show then....she was the script writer ;) And we had amazing Erica/Opal scenes...

By the way, the writer for Adrianne's Colleen was Sara Bibel; she was fired shortly after Adrianne was. Sara was partly responsible for giving us the Colleen we all know and love.

Yes, not only do I miss Adrianne, I miss Sara Bibel, the great writer that wrote for her at the time of Cadrian!

In the four months since her firing, only one Y&R actor has offered her public support -- Eyal Podell. The only other Y&R professional who has publicly said anything was writer Sara Bibel, who posted a message of support to AL on her MySpace fan page. A month later, Sara Bibel was axed. I'm not saying one had anything to do with the other but no one is speaking out publicly. No one at Y&R will talk for the record. So that would make a lawsuit very much of an uphill battle for Adrianne.

Why I Hated The Luke And Felicia Story

Two popular characters embroiled in a story involving the secret past of a soap's core family. What could go wrong? In the case of Luke and Felicia, everything.

When it first became clear that Lila was hiding something, I was intrigued. I considered a variety of possibilities--perhaps Lila had given up a child who had grown up to become Faison or Tammy--perhaps Lila's brother had an affair with Helena and Stavros Cassadine was actually a Quartermaine, making Stefan the true heir.

However, as the story progressed it became clear that the secret itself was merely a McGuffin, an excuse for Luke and Felicia to run around acting increasingly foolish and for Felicia to have extremely boring black-and-white fantasies in which she and Luke portrayed Lila and Edward. Forced to spout dialogue consisting primarily of hypothetical situations involving people that have been dead for decades, even Tony Geary couldn't make this plot interesting.

While there was some romantic tension between Luke and Felicia, I knew from the start that Felicia would never stray from her marriage. After all, she and Mac are the only happily married people under forty on the show.

Potentially interesting developments--Luke using this adventure to recover from the death of his son, Felicia being unfulfilled by her conventional life--were glossed over.

The worst part of the story, however, was its resolution. Lila killing a former fiance in self-defense had absolutely no bearing on present-day Port Charles life, so what was the point? Luke and Felicia parted as friends, exactly what they were before the story got started. The story even failed to take advantage of the presence of Faison, who lurked around corners but played no role in the story.

Indeed, the only long-term consequence of the story was the arrival of Chloe, who I despise. Her obsession with Lila's love-letters was the flimsiest possible connection to the story--the writers could easily have easily had her show up in town for a fashion show if they were determined to inflict her insipid romanticism on an unsuspecting public.

In addition, I was offended by the way Luke and Felicia felt justified at dredging up the clearly painful memories of an elderly woman in poor health who had been nothing but kind to both of them. With friends like these, who needs Helena Cassadine? My grandmother is about Lila's age, and, frankly, I think she's earned the right to keep as many secrets as she wants.

While others may disagree, I found this story a contrived, pointless failure that may me actually look forward to Tony Geary's annual summer vacation.

LOL! These look like they're made up by some Colleen/Adrien fanatics!

Where did you get these? You never seem to post links when you copy and paste (you gotta break that habit). ;)

:D CBS boards and Sony's. bb5.gif

I might do an interview with Sara Bibel, just that I need some official backing. Like - for SON or something like that. :)

Why would you need us? It's not like we have interivews with writers. LOL
