No, I've actually seen Sally Sussman Morina when Soap Net's defunct show Soap Center had a segment on Spyder Games. She's the brunette.

I just got word that Richard Backus is DAYS' new Script Editor. Interesting choice. He has no connection to Hogan and I couldn't find out if he had the same agent as Hogan. The Writers Guild site didn't list a "Richard Backus."

Yes, but I think this is just a title with no meaning, since Janice doesn't have any experience consulting, she was mostly a scriptwriter. I'm not sure is this situation sustainable any more: how many Y&R writers can B&B take?

Is Jerry Birn gone? He's been the story consultant at B&B for a few years now, I think. Possibly since Meg Bennett left doing it.

Story consultant might be a fluid term but the ones I had heard about at Days & ABC shows years ago actually meant doing a lot of the long term storylines. I think lately at ABC consulting has become more of about commenting and making suggestions which may or may not be listened to. No power. But the term once meant something far more crucial.

At least it did on some shows at some times.
