B&B: Stephanie should really have EMPATHISED with Sheila

We all remember on Y&R last year, Sheila told Lauren how she'd basically been a victim of 'them' as a child, implying sexual or chronic physical abuse, attempting suicide because of it. These B&B episodes where Stephanie revisits her own abuse made me realise how both women did become so damaged and messed up because of what happened when they were a child. Then i remember how cruel Stephanie was to Sheila, constantly goading her about her precarious mental state and saying she belonged in the mental insitution... she never once cared to empathise with her. I REALLY HOPE one day Kimberlin returns to B&B as Sheila and this dynamic is played out, Sheila has a few home truths to tell Stephanie who should really have reached out to help a similar victim of abuse.

However when Stephanie grilled her about her mental state...did Stephanie know that Shelia had been abused by others...I wasn't watching B&B during her pre-2002 reign of terror.

Stephanie has never been able to empathise with anyone. At least we now know why she's always been such a miserable, woman hating, b!tch!!

I don't think Stephanie would ever treat Shelia with any kind of respect after what she's done. Maybe in the beginning, after Shelia had only done a few bad things, but not after shooting Taylor and kidnapping Ridge and everything else.
