  1. I have to chuckle that you are just now getting clued into the monster they created when they set out to make a precocious child in Violet. I'm not aware of any soap child who is as universally hated as is Violet! I just pray to the soap gods regularly for Hayden to appear long enough to get her & take her away! Didn't she say something, like that?! Thursday: First they establish that it is Spring Break. Then, Tracy comes in & says, "Oh, good! More interlopers in (pause) Monica's house!" She keeps moving. When she lands in the kitchen, to Olivia, she says, "Where, for the love of god, is the nanny?! There are children in every corner of this house!"
  2. One thing that is said about Frank, from people at the studio, is that he knows "how to play the game." That is not said as a criticism.
  3. Still no writers credits. Today's theme was "Loving Couples". Sex being the sub-plot. I do not understand Stephanie being an employee of the newspaper & also having her own professional PR business. That is a total conflict of interest! I guess they have decided to go with something strange to explain Everett/Bobby! Possibly diabolical also. Or maybe just a homegrown DID story. What is pickle ball? Sloan is crazy. She's told EJ that Nicole is Jude's mother & Eric is his father yet she's telling Eric "No more secrets - ever again"!! I guess I was on a break from the show when Clyde's daughter Jordan was on. To me Janel still boring. Paulina & Abe now also boring. I don't care about Everett/Bobby or Stephanie or Jada & Rafe. That leaves Nicole, Eric, and with them EJ & Sloan. I really want Nicole & Eric to find out the total truth about Jude. I still wish the show would settle Ari's lawsuit. And I'm still mad she's not up for an Emmy.
  4. Well, I've said it before & I am sure I will say it again, but all FB posters are NOT the same, no, not at all. For just one example, there is a GH FB group that I have tried & I cannot stand it!!! It is impossible. Half of them are crazy. And, the admins have a mechanical censor that refuses to let you post. It declines one's posts & you say, what is going on? And, the regular posters there say to change something, anything, add a period, put in an extra space & resubmit & it will post. Like I have time to do that? That's nuts. But, my forum is not only sane. We have a good time. So, it's according, Meanwhile I found the picture I was looking. for It's from the NJ event Saturday before last. And it shows how tall they are, which we were talking about. 4-27-24
  5. What's happening, next week?
  6. Shelly Curtis, I have no doubt, would be very very welcome either at GH or at DAYS. When I or others talk about a time when it seemed there were more women in power behind the scenes on our soaps, things were better.
  7. Yes, I knew that the accreditation issue was old news. I find it remarkable that as far as I am aware there was no notice of it by fans. The person who sent me the link alleges that CBS & NBC now care only about Total Viewers, not who is watching, not when. I couldn't see where that link proved anything. Thanks for looking at it.
  8. Not sure about this photo, who took it, I mean. Photos by Karen @AUTigers4Ever
  9. I just finished watching the latest Steve/Bradford podcast. Kirsten was their guest. Almost at the very end she relates that things have recently changed for her, for the better. Then, she takes us back to her surgery, which she was terrified about, thinking she wouldn't survive but not talking to anyone about it. She says her recovery was about 2 months but that she did not bounce back mentally. She says she was constantly getting notes that they didn't like the clothes she was wearing but she wasn't comfortable with herself & so she wasn't comfortable with the clothes she was supposed to be wearing. (Implication here is that she did not wear those clothes & instead wore her own clothes.) She goes on to say that maybe we could all forget that Maxie. She & Steve & Bradford all talked about being excited when they get their scripts & said there's a new energy at the studio & expressed their pleasure with the new writing & the new writers. This echoes what fans said that in NJ last weekend LW, CW, Taby & Finola all talked about the new writing & the new writers & how optimistic things are from their perspective. Mo has been posting about the show, he who usually posts about SOM or bipolar but never or rarely about the show, saying more general positive things, that he's enjoying what's happening & teasing that there's so much to come. He also said he prefers his hair gray & not dyed black.
  10. Yeah, CM should be punished for doing that to both her face & to her eyes! But perhaps she is being punished by having to live with it. She still has one of the most animated faces around but she's lost some flexibility she used to have. Alan Locher just posted this, as he said, "rare" look at Ellen Wheeler's apartment near the end of the show. Jill & Ellen worked here, a lot. Almost all of the time there would have been extra hours, after full days at the studio or at Peapack. I know that one of their routines was to take the scripts for Otalia & read them aloud. It was a kind of extra check. I realize this is not going to mean much to most of you but it means a great deal to me. This in a real sense is the birthplace of Otalia, one of the world's great, engaging love stories.

  12. What? This is totally different. Jeff Snyder, a fan, created a "role call" for Anne Heche. Throughout her magnificent career, spanning 35 years on TV, in films, and on stage, Anne Heche has portrayed a vast range of characters: THERE WERE FOUR CATHERINES (ONE SPELLED WITH A K!) TWO MARY JANES, A MARY, AND A JANIE; A MARIN AND A MARIE; A MARION AND A MARLEY; A MELISSA AND A MISSY; A MARTHA AND A MAUREEN; A MAGGIE, A MINA, AND A MELANIE. THERE WERE TWO CLAIRES AND A CLARA; TWO KATES AND TWO KARENS; TWO SUSANS AND A SHARON; TWO LAURAS AND A GWEN; TWO WENDYS AND A WINIFRED! THERE WERE TWO AMYS AND TWO AMANDAS, AN AILEEN AND AN ALEX LEE, AN ASHLEY, AN ASTRID, AND AN EMILY. A ROXANE, A ROXY, AND A ROBIN... ROCKIN' ALL DAY LONG... A REBECCA AND A ROWENA WERE SINGIN' ALONG! A ROSIE AND A RILEY; A NELL AND A NICOLE; A "NICA"/VERONICA AND A "VICKY"/VICTORIA; A JENNIFER, A JESSICA, A JOAN, AND A JOHANNA, A JOYCE AND A JULIET. TWO BETHS AND AND AN ELIZABETH; A TAMMY, A TANYA, A "TANNY'S PLAYMATE", AND A TESS; THE VOICES OF SUYIN BEIFONG AND GLORIA THE WAITRESS, PLUS AN OLIVE, A CHERRY CREAM SODA GAL, AND THE GUITAR WOMAN-MISS G-STRING, AND EVEN LOIS LANE! LAST BUT NOT LEAST, A LILY, A LUCY, AND A LUCINDA; A BETTY, A BROOKE, AND A BARBARA; A SAMANTHA, A PAMELA, AND A KATRINA, A DEE DEE AND A DEBRA, A DENISE AND A DIANA; DRS. STERLING & MARTIN, AND LANGDON & WESTEN, BARNES & BRODY. A DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT BRENNAN; AND AN AGENT MONAHAN; A PATRICIA, A LYNN, AND A HELEN JACOBSEN; A CAROL AND A QUINN; A CHRISTINE CULLEN AND A CORINNE; WITH ALL THOSE CATHERINES!!! (SIGH)
  13. There is an error. THIS is Marcia McCabe.
  14. Thank you. I'm no longer at all confused. I'm so sorry you've had personal experience with it. I don't know what they've got planned but I feel an apprehension that it is impending, or even looming, which apparently you also feel. I think the wedding is next week & it's to be 3 days. And, I just have this bad feeling that something or even some things, plural, are gonna happen. Sonny loses it. Gregory dies. Someone shoots someone else. Kristina loses the baby. None of that is spoiler. It's not even really spec. Just dread/anticipation?
  15. I'm quite curious about this. How can it be a copout to have a character die of a 100% fatal illness? What would it say to the family members who have lost loved ones to ALS if they pull some sort of hail mary pass out of the magician's hat & have Gregory live?
  16. Lewis Arlt https://www.facebook.com/groups/3144711669180711/search/?q=%23anotherworldreunion
  17. It's also incorrect because 2019 would not be Season 15!!!
  18. An attempt at ID Dom/Dante, Kate Mansi/Kristina, Kristen Vaganos/Molly, Is that Selena Wu?, Maurice Benard, Tabyana Ali/Trina, Lisa Locicero/Olivia, Y&R ?, GH Brad, Melissa Claire Eagan/Chelsea, Genie Francis/Laura, Carolyn Hennessey/Diane, Nancy Lee Grahn/Alexis, Laura Wright/Carly, Kate Linder, Patrika Darbo/Nancy, Maura West/Ava, Stephen Nichols/Patch, Micheal Easton/Finn, Evan Hofer/Dex, Adam J. Harrington/John Jagger, Peter Bergman/Jack, That's not everyone but it's a fine start.
  19. I wonder does this need a thread of its own? I started one & I did a partial ID. If someone could help out & maybe finish up?
