Sweeps began Th. Apr. 25 so 12 days ago. PM/EK are on their Episode 41, so, 8 days is absolutely valid new viewer experience!!! There are so many of us who will answer your questions!!! I'm sure each of us has been a newbie on a soap many times. Welcome, BTW.

Well, me, i'm at a totally different place with the show. I, for one, am not wasting my time wishing for something to happen that is simply not going to happen. Whomever it is that is preventing a purge IS preventing them from writing any such thing. I do not like the size of the cast but I personally am more interested in posting about things that I'd like so see that have some semblance of possibility of happening. I realize that many people here wholesale criticize posters on FB & on TwiX, but that is not realistic. Some are awful but some are not. Also I am enjoying the show. Is it perfect? No, of course not. I look forward, every single day to "NEXT, on General Hospital" as well as the official previews that come out about an hour after the Friday air show. I don't miss cliff-hangers. I don't miss Dan & Chris. I don't think they are talking too much. And, what they are saying & who is talking to whom, to me is excellent. This week our star was Anna. From the previews & what Anna said on Friday, she is gonna go straight at Carly Monday, which is a mistake but it is bound to be very dramatic. People are worried that Carly gave away some info to Brennan but we know she did not. He already knew that one of the three-letter orgs of gov. is who placed Jason in Pikeman. Brennan & Valentin already discussed this. So, the most Carly did was to confirm. What I see coming up is Pikeman coming to an end and one of those huge pre-Covid style weddings & I think both are suitable for Sweeps. I want to add my biggest criticism & that is with GH Promotion, or should I say the lack thereof, ... Tell me if you can WHY we have not had an interview or Q&A with the new writing team? Telling us what they planned for Sweeps? Telling us what they have on tap for summer viewing? Teasing us with what they're NOT going to tell us because we just have to tune in to see? We have had nothing in the way of promotion, that you typically would see from a new regime!!!

I know people who allege they can be making valid opinions going by clips & what other posters are saying. I call BULLSHIT on this! The only way to have a valid opinion on a soap is to watch it! Where did we get so far away from common sense?! People who say they watch for one person or one couple, I call BS on this! Ideally soaps are meant to be consumed, whether you're nibbling or gulping it down whole, the object is that you're gonna miss something if you don't embrace the whole show. The modern era has brought two terrible things to soaps. 1 The ability to FF over wholesale amounts of shows. 2 Spoilers. BITD in my opinion the ad agencies sold a bill of goods when they convinced the Nielsens that very much younger people were better potential consumers of product. I call BS on this!

Me, busy shipping Chrome (Corinthos + Jerome) and, BOOM, all of a sudden this week Sonny says to Natalia, "Oh, no, it's not like THAT with Ava." Made me wonder immediately, then, why did he lay that kiss on her?!!! So, I got the message & I gotta switch that ship to Sonia. Of course, Sonny could have felt romantic toward Ava but lie about it now to Natalia. Absolutely agree. Unlikable, unrootable, maybe a romance will save her. They couldn't possibly make her any worse by trying her with Mo.

I am amused at all the assumptions and partial assumptions. Anna, Cates & Jason are all extremely concerned that Carly gave away some valuable information to Brennan. In actuality all she did was confirm what he already knew. Clearly Sam was suffering from feeling left out & now she feels included so she & Dante are going to do a Nick & Nora & try to help Jason in secret. Both Carly & Sam think that the FBI had something on Jason & that is why he has been pressured into being their pet informer! Oh, yeah, @carolineg Ali's brother is her big brother. Today they told us.

But I really loved Heather self-reflecting and not justifying her actions any more but instead questioning them! Also that Heather is showing actual remorse. But, Alexis said 3 things. 1-anti-Heather 2-all defendants deserve a something or other defense then swing back again to 3-No judge is going to want to vacate because of the high body count. I thoroughly appreciate ALL of this patter as they hit points on both sides of the issue. I hopefully feel that they are. But I've been said some of the sort over the last few months. I simply hope there's not too much interference going on. I hope that they are going to be patient with them in terms of time. I am very concerned at there being, what 65, people in a bloated cast. I'm not worried besides that but I am VERY worried about what in my mind is Patrick trying to connect all of these people.

Cory did Bella magazine, Felicia's books, other unknown authors' books, ... Wasn't the newspaper separate? Called The Spectator? On DAYS I was always confused about Titan and about Basic Black.

For a long while Betty Rea was Casting Director for both ATWT & GL. Paul Rauch & Maeve K., something that today we would call sexual harassment. I don't know details. The decision was that they'd solve the problem by separating them. It was a different time.

Okay. Thanks for the reply. I have always loved it that when Santa Barbara won it's first Emmy one of the winning episodes was produced by Bridget & the other was produced by Jill. It seemed so appropriate. I mean if you can have something be apt during chaos. Anyway, the successful block voting certainly cemented JFP's reputation to future employers.

You really think this is substantiated? And, tell me once again, I'm pretty sure I remember the answer to this question. Your experience of the current show is seeing some clips & reading what others post. Right? So, if that is so, tell me why you think your opinion is an informed one? Make no mistake, I am not meaning any offense at all. I just think it's a valid question. At any rate, I completely & totally disagree with your assessment of the new HW team. And, I watch every minute of every show & take notes while doing so & re-watch some shows. I have had conversations with Patrick Mulcahey & in none of anything he said about SFT, AW, TX, SB, GL was even one word the word of a hack or someone who does not love the genre dearly. I'm not saying he is perfect. Nor am I saying he's had a lot of experience as a HW. Because the facts are, he hasn't. But, a wrong attitude about the genre? No way, that dog won't hunt. That dog is not even gonna come out from under the porch.
