NBC was very very bad to be at them about increasing the level of violence against women. They forced Swajeski to write that Jake raped Marley. They told more than one regime that violence against women increases ratings! At one point at AW didn't she do two serial killer storylines, with different killers, of course, back to back? And, notably she wrote the Fax Neuman serial killer storyline including the gruesome on camera murder of Frankie Frame. MDP who we called Maggie the Beast.

But the premise is that the real reason he's there is to be bait to draw Pikeman out. I think probably he is intending to be out on the docks, by himself, obvious but not well protected. Sometimes the air show, live & abc.com & YouTubeTV etc. and the Hulu show have some slight variation to them. I do not understand how or why that would be, but I have seen it with my own two eyes. I watch at 2 in a zoom group watch which is the live feed. Sometimes I look at the Hulu episode for reference on some point. That's how I discovered this thing where the versions are not always the exact same.

Yesterday was the first day that there was more than one writer listed. It appeared to be the full list. It is what Veleka posted. Before that, we had one writer per day listed & the names varied. If there is ever a specific show that you want to see "better" or different, we can just decide on a time & I will open a zoom & set the Hulu episode to play & you can watch it that way off of my legal episode. GH 6-1-24: GH Today & Fans As soap fans in 2024 what is asked of us. We are asked to suspend our disbelief long enough & well enough to entertain the story elements that are presented. To do so or not is a choice. We are asked to get on the roller coaster ride & stay on & enjoy. To do so or not is a choice. It is the nature of the beast for today's soaps that have gone on for as much as 60 years with many different people in leadership causing variation in what is said to be true about characters. To do so or not is a choice. Quite naturally we have retcons & some other changes in characters that do not rise to the level of retcons. What we do or do not allow ourselves to believe is a choice. What I see is happy fans who make certain choices & unhappy fans who will not make those choices or who make different choices. I would offer Kristina as one character where fans are asked to believe a version of her that varies somewhat from previous versions. For the sake of story they have concentrated on a few specific things. To find this Kristina credible you must accept what: That she is a Daddy's girl. That she believed that Sonny lived by a code, his own code, unlike other people's codes. That he does at times have to resort to violence but that is only to protect himself, his territory or his family. While we saw Joss object to Sonny ordering a hit on an old man in a hospital bed, that also was an issue of what Sonny's code was or was not. Now, Kristina has seen with her own eyes, an enraged Sonny beating & kicking Dex who did not fight back & screaming that he was going to kill both Dex & Jason. This did not fit at all into the view Kristina had of her father. So, Kristina now has a crisis of faith, of belief, of her father & who she thought he was.

Isn't it the truth?! Editing out the end credits should be considered blasphemous!

I recommend KINDRED etc. to people all of the time. The whole show, short-run, is up on YouTube. People who have only seen Stacy as Kristen or as Susan Banks, will not believe her in this!!! Kelly Rutherford is good in this as well. Love finding another Kindred fan! CPW, totally classic.

I thought it made Laura look good that in her own words she finally explained what she's doing, why & what part of it is completely out of her control. And, at some point Laura is going to remember that Portia egged on Esme to try to get Esme & Baby Ace to get Spencer out of Trina's life. Right now Portia is an unrevealed hypocrite. But, to her credit or maybe I should say to the credit of the story, Heather has already shown a change in her way of thinking. She now regrets actions that before she justified. And, she now clearly has shown the first bit of remorse.

After today you wonder this? When today, they finally had Laura tell us in her own words what she is after & where she delineates that it is up to the courts & not to any of the rest of us.

Yeah, I wasn't really holding Sloan accountable in that way, just mostly notating from a fan perspective because once anyone KNOWS Sami of their own experience, it's like you say, unforgettable! That's our Sami! Who I guess we could admit we miss. And yeah, miss Will, miss Allie & Sydney has been off the Salem scene for far too long. Ron creates all these new characters. And, yeah, first shot of first scene, not only Leo but Leo in his orange sweater. I did like so much happening. The Intervention didn't seem like the Interventions I've seen on TV but they did several things right. Steph appealing to Everett, saying she knew he was in there & saying why he needs to go back to therapy & that she will be with him *every single step of the way." I think that was what enabled Everett to come to the surface. Bobby, gatekeeper personality, is so fracking strong.
