Agree. Now is the time to do something different. It just bothers me how This Is Us and Grey's Anatomy are prospering off a model that daytime soaps built; however, these shows are floundering like fish out of water. But sadly, I do think that the UK soaps are starting to pick up our bad habits, which won't work out well for them either. When it comes to change, I've long said the remaining 4 need to be trimmed down to 3 days a week. The five day model isn't working anymore. ATWT was stupid to not have these 2 at odds the last 20 something years of the show. I always felt Lily could've been a vessel for the 2 being at odds seeing as she was Lucy's daughter and Lisa partner for the Lakeview. John should've once again been wedged between the 2 again, or Scott should've been brought back as he did have a fling with Lucinda.

True. I think that is why Lemay was one of the greats b/c he understood the importance of having class structure on his shows. Do you think that, that would appeal nowadays to soap audience? I just don't. I feel like people are SUPER ostentatious nowadays and care all about material goods. I just don't see kitchen sink drama boding well over here like it does in the UK.

Weren't daytime soaps already adding upper-class character in soaps previously beforehand? Or are you saying that soap characters that were upper-class weren't as ostentatious as they were at that point?

I'd imagine that it costs them nothing but about maybe 100k to 300k at the most and most of that is renting a studio. These shows make tons of money that they can update the opening. It is Bravo and the production companies not updating the opening. Evolution Media, who produces BH and OC, are the only shows that put money into their shows and it shows. BH never recycles intro, and OC will at least update an intro every other season. Word is OC just shot their upcoming season intro the other day. ATL has only updated their intro 4 out of the ten seasons they've been on air. NJ has only updated their intro about 4 times out of 8 seasons. NY is getting better, but they're bad too. It looks like only Carole is getting a new shot for the upcoming season. I'd imagine that Dallas might get a new opening seeing as they'll need a full body shot like the rest of the shows. IMO, all of these shows should get a new intro every damn season. It costs them nothing to film an intro, which can be shot in a few hours on one day. BH: Erika continues to be an insufferable twat. I truly never understand why the audience gravitated to this whoremonger. I wish Teddi would've socked her ass. That aside, this season is so damn dull. They have to cast someone chaotic next season. This show hasn't been good since s5.

@ChitHappens, I think Dr. Damon loves Heavenly, BUT I don't believe an ounce of all that preaching he was spewing. One thing that threw me off when we he said we've all had "second chances." That made my eyebrows raise real high. What do you mean second chance? Makes me believe that Damon has stepped out. I wouldn't be surprised if all the Kimes' skeletons came falling out the closet next season. A lot of people on Twitter took notice to that comment too ... including Toya! When it comes to Mariah, I doubt they'll make her official full time again b/c Purveyors of Pop/Fremantle are trying to punish Mariah till this day. But they are stupid to not promote her b/c Mariah brings the most drama out of everyone. She was also the one great departure from a season filled with splitting marriages.

I've heard 2 variations of Marlo getting exposed. STFA, who is VERY reliable, is saying that Porsha exposed Marlo at the reunion. Supposedly, Marlo was fooling with John (Nene's pizza man ex from s4), and stole some scandalous texts between Nene/John from his phone. I think B. Scott, who is also reliable, says that Kenya was the one that exposed Marlo. Regardless, one of the two (Porsha or Kenya) most likely exposed Marlo. If Marlo is on s11, I see Nene flipping on her a** yet again. She ought to know that Nene does NOT take lightly to people backstabbing her. Marlo is gonna pay dearly for that.... I am so giddy that Kim got dragged by her synthetic wig. I can't wait to see that. I heard that Kandi called Sheree out at the reunion too. I don't think Kenya is gonna be fired, and I called it. I knew she was gonna reveal her pregnancy at the reunion, which will most likely save her job. Whether Andy (along with most of the audience) hates Kenya or not, everyone wants to see her give birth of a child to see if it is true or not. Queenya is gonna make a come back next year and haters will deal!

Kenya sitting on the end of the couch doesn't bother (and I doubt her too) b/c she didn't really shoot this season. I'm also not worried about her position on the show b/c I betcha Kenya showed up and showed out, thus cementing her spot for s11 if she wants it.

I think Camille will get her diamond back if she wants it. Andy asked (in so many words) on WWHL why Camille won't come back full-time. I think she might end up being full-time come time for next season.

The reunion is gonna be glorious b/c I know that Teddi is gonna nail Erika, Dorit, and Rinna to the cross. Erika flat out lied and got caught. However, we all know this won't go well for Teddi b/c Andy probably hates that his fave is catching heat thanks to Teddi. If anything, Teddi won't be invited back next year b/c they'll want to try and erase Erika's bitchiness from the audience's mind. Teddi, go out in a blaze of glory, girl! Read that old, tired karaoke star for filth at the reunion!

It just warms my heart reading all the shade being tossed at her tonight on Twitter. Finally, the audience was awakened to her bulls--t. At least Dorit is good for something. Latching onto Erika, she's finally tanked her stock with the audience.

But Kandi will sadly buck down in the end. Kandi always has a soft spot for Kim, which unnerves the f-ck out of me. I'm glad the show is picking up, but I'm ready for the reunion. This season was stale as f-ck. Yet another reason why ALL the housewives shows need to be cut to 12 episodes max.

How dare you like Heavily, who came off as a big child last night?!!! I think Mariah was one of the few that was well behaved until Devilily defaced her property. I didn't appreciate either that Toya shared something so serious as her suffering from weight issues for Heavenly and Jackie to not own their sh-t and still turn it on Toya. I found it to be disgusting. Especially, when Jackie bitched and moaned about Mariah tossing in her face that she couldn't have kids in season 1. And don't get me started on potato-head a** Quad...

So agree. She makes everything so tiny into something major and serious. Don't get me started on that trash box occupying the 5th seat on The View. I still wish that they would've wooed back Nicole Wallace or simply kept Jedidiah Bila. Hell, I'd even settle for Elizabeth Hasselbitch returning at this point.
