  1. Oh my... This looks explosive. Phaedra is going down. I truly hope OC's Tamra gets hers. It's been years...judgment time should finally be upon her. And it should be brutal.
  2. I just looked up that OWN Where Are They Now episode with Estelle and for 87 at the time she looked and sounded amazing - she basically hadn't aged. And what a huge apartment!
  3. BH Reunion Part 3 A mediocre ending for a mediocre season. I'm glad Eileen called out Kim's ass for looking down on her for being a soap actress. And Kim admitted it. What a stupid, irrelevant, snob with NONE of the money to back it up - what a bitch. I can't stand Rinna, but Kim is so much worse. Rinna is burning all her bridges a la Brandi...quite the fall from where she started. I'm surprised she went so hard on Dorit when the footage of Eden and Dorit was so blatantly against Eden. NYC This season is so fun. Praise the Bravo gods. I love Luann's house - beautiful, tasteful, appropriate, renovation at its best. I loved Dorinda's tirade on Sonja - but I loved even more how they just go over it. Smart. Smart. Smart. I was living for the cameo from Candace Bushnell aka Carrie Bradshaw of Sex and the City. She's a friend of Luann's...does that mean Luann is the Samantha? PS: Ramona is turning 60? She looks [!@#$%^&*] fabulous.
  4. I actually think Rinna has a point. Kim can lie and say she didn't want to be on the show that day but we all know that's nonsense. We also all know that Kim is sick and a mean person. Rinna is a whack job, but she doesn't have the basic mean streak that Kim does. Where Rinna faulted is not admitting it's a symbiotic relationship - they need each other (and Eileen needs them) to stay on the show. I love the look LVP had when Kyle said she and Kim were the first two on the show. Andy himself has said LVP was the first cast and the reason it got greenlit.
  5. RHOA A filler episode for sure but the stuff with Sheree was interesting. Bob certainly left some emotional scars on her. It's the most sympathetic Sheree has ever looked.
  6. Falcon Crest as a sitcom, it's amazing what an added laugh track can do:
  7. I agree - this season is all about rehabbing Bethenny's image. Whatever, it's fine. I don't think taking shots at Luann isn't going to help her cause. But Bethenny can't really hide who she is. I love Dorinda and Sonja. I'm glad we're getting this confrontation over with right off the bat. It'll be interesting to see how badly Sonja is slaughtered because sober Dorinda is lethal. Carole and the election. UGH. Insufferable.
  8. I concur with all of this, with one caveat: Kim is still a piece of sh*t. I actually didn't find myself as against Rinna in the 'Bunny Scene' as I'd expected. That was just plain low of Kim. She kicked Rinna when she was down and demonstrated that she hasn't improved one iota and is still "a liar and sick and an alcoholic!" (copyright Kyle Richards 2010)...Kim hasn't changed a bit. She still thinks she's better than the rest of 'em and the fact of the matter is she ain't. I sort of empathized with Eileen seeking out Rinna and reiterating to her that what Kim did with the bunny was calculated. Of course it was. There's no denying that. Kim planned it. Andy planned it. Much as I despise Rinna this season, Kim is no better and she's been an assh*le longer than Rinna has. It must gall Kyle that she'll never, ever, be the fan favourite. We see her for who she is and that must drive her crazy. Eden is a once and done. There is no need for her to come back next season.
  9. Finished the last instalment of the reunion. Loved this season.
  10. Potomac Monique's mother in law is atrocious...as was her friend's comments about her caucasian member of household staff. Gizelle and Charrisse are both cut from the same bitter cloth. They're over and they know it and they can't stand it so they'll keep hating on anyone younger than them. That 'champagne room' of Charrisse's is a pathetically contrived bit of story. That will not increase the value of the home she likely can't afford. Speaking of homes, Karen's house getting sold is a head scratcher. It's weird that she doesn't just say exactly why it's being sold and where she plans to move to. Being ambiguous is going to add fuel to the fire that she's broke. Ashley's marriage is doomed. How she has such poor common sense and business skills is beyond me. She isn't treating this restaurant like a business. I agree about Juan and Robyn: he's going to ride that relationship till she kicks him out. He knows she won't do it. And they need to get some discipline and manners instilled in their kids.
  11. According to the Daily Mail the loan was given 4 years ago. Dawn was meant to start paying it back with interest 6 months after the loan was made. Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4216516/Real-Housewives-Cheshire-stars-feud-500-000-loan.html
  12. She did an episode of that soap star reality show on SoapNet years ago. The wannabe actors had no clue of what greatness they were in the presence of. I absolutely agree that she gave the finest performance of an alcoholic on television, be it daytime or primetime. Jeanne Cooper is a distant second.
  13. The small detail that you don't know about Dawn vs Leanne (because they haven't mentioned it on the show, despite it being all over the UK newspapers) is that, allegedly, Dawn borrowed 500,000 UK pounds sterling from Leanne, defaulted on her payments, and is now refusing to pay the loan back to Leanne and her husband. Ampika is a great housewife because she is fearless in her confrontations. She just throws all the sh*t at the wall and come what may she doesn't care. That's why I like Lauren too. Ester annoys me but she isn't as bad as Misse who was extra in the last couple of episodes. She was definitely welcome, but there's something about Potomac that I just don't like. These women, aside from Karen who I'm really enjoying this season, have zero class and they're incredibly uptight. Charisse is the worst of them - she's got the makeup of a drag queen AND the shoulders.
  14. Potomac Episode 1 Man, this show is budget. All of these women have taken a step down from season 1. Robyn's 45 mile away townhouse is perfectly nice for a normal person. But that's not what I want to see from the Real Housewives. It reminded me of Lauri in Season 1 OC when she was living in the cat poop condo, selling insurance from Vicki's home office and on the hunt for a new husband. That worked for Lauri's storyline as a California trophy wife in her late 40s with a mess of a private life...but Robyn's storyline is just about people getting fleeced and/or poorly managing their finances. Charisse is trash. Absolute gutter. Gizelle is trash. She's just got a little bit more of the Vanessa L. Williams style polish to her trash than Charisse. But they're equally bad. Ashley is an idiot. I could not believe how she viewed the price of the beef dish at the Oz restaurant. "It's SUCH a small cost"...no...it's not profitable, nor does it break even. It's a major profit suck. LVP could teach all of these housewives a lot about going into the restaurant business: don't. It's simply too hard for average mortals. Karen is the only one I'm interested in watching. She seems to have burnished her sense of humour. If she has lost her money, that's a damn pity, but moving house as she has doesn't make sense.
  15. NYC Another good episode that clearly demonstrates they've upped the production values noticeably. Case in point: when Bethenny made the crack about Luann's hat, and the editing snapped to a side shot of Luann walking down the street with the hat on, it looked cinematic. I like Tinsley for what she is: an upper class trainwreck. The stories about her and the Fanjul heir are worth a Google. I really loved her scene with Sonja about finding a new man - Sonja is hilarious and seems good hearted. I feel sorry for Sonja to an extent. This looks like a beat down of a season for her. I definitely understand where Dorinda's coming from and she's right to attack Sonja if Sonja has taken jabs at her - especially based on the stupidity of the Berkshires. Sonja should be grateful to Dorinda for keeping her out of it. But I don't understand why Luann can't take Sonja's words at face value. Tom is a cheater. Luann is cool with it. Sonja is saying she's there for Luann with or without Tom. While I do think Sonja would like to be married again, I don't think she'd actually stoop to Tom. Sonja has a strong sense of self (whether deluded at times or not) that Luann doesn't have (and I say that as someone who likes Luann!) Bethenny and Ramona and Carole didn't have much to contribute except snark. I loathed the scenes with Carole being a snob about her election knowledge. After watching her look down on Ramona, I look forward to seeing Carole crushed when Trump wins. She is so self righteous I understand why some people would vote for a politician like Trump just to stick it to people who act like Carole.
  16. When I saw the preview for next week and it appeared Kim was reaching behind the couch I thought it might me that bunny - that scene is crazy!
  17. Fabulous post. Perfection. I particularly agree about Andy's bias towards Dorit - he wasn't even attempting to be fair. Erika exposed herself as a nutcase and there's no coming back from that. She can cry wolf all she wants but she's kept Pantygate going - nobody else. I though PK handled himself absolutely fine and I agree he's taken way too much heat. Rinna has jumped the shark. I can't believe I'm looking forward to Kim nuking her. The thing about LVP that none of these broads get is that while they employ glam squads to help them pretend to be fabulous, LVP just IS fabulous all by herself.
  18. NYC I loved the opening scenes of all the ladies living their daily lives. Sonja washing her sex toys in the dishwasher and Dorinda asking about the $4 profit margin for water was great. Sonja's daughter is right, she needs a cute two bedroom with a balcony. She needs to get rid of that damn townhouse. It is an albatross. Tom's penthouse! Holy crap! Moving on up, LuAnn! Dorinda vs Sonja...sigh. It's a shame because I like them both. I don't give a damn about Carole being obsessed with the election. Old news. You've gotta hand it to Bethenny, unloading that apartment in a day is pretty great. Ramona coming out swinging right out of the gate. Terrific.
  19. RHBH Sigh. The finale is done and so am I with Rinna and Erika. I can't believe I'm saying it after my first post of the season but Team Dorit and PK. Honestly, give PK a diamond, his use of the word "honey" was sassier than half the BH cast. Rinna has really done herself in this season, as if last season wasn't bad enough. The constant picking with Dorit and Kim and Eden - it seems if Rinna can't fight with you (for screen time) she serves no purpose. It's pathetic to hear her say she "doesn't give a [!@#$%^&*]" - of course she does. She is the most painfully self aware cast member to the extent she tries to figure out audience reaction to what she does throughout the season. It was also bizarre to hear her say she "lets LVP think she has the power. She has so little else, let's give her that." EXCUSE ME? LVP's mansion and businesses and spinoff and husband of 30+ years and two kids and animals and charitable causes? Rinna needs to sit down and eat a burger (and keep it down). Dorit had a good season for a newcomer. She held her own, much to the surprise, and chagrin, of some of the harridans who tried to persecute her. I was glad to see Eileen and LVP thaw their Cold War. I appreciate that Eileen is ride or die for Rinna but it's a short sighted plan as once Rinna falls, so too does Eileen. She did repair her image a bit this year. Kyle had one of her quietest seasons and seemed to keep her hands clean. That's why I'm sure she's going to be a bitch at the reunion to LVP. Kyle is a bad friend. Eden is a nutcase but I'm glad she called Rinna out for being the bitch that she is. Erika exposed herself this season as an unwell woman. She exposed the inner craziness and unreasonableness and uncoolness that makes her someone I would want to avoid in my own life. The way she acted with Dorit and PK was strange. She clearly holds onto everything and then tries to appear carefree. It doesn't work anymore. We have seen the real Erika and she's terribly uncomfortable. This was a wholly reasonable season for LVP. She stayed in the mix but wasn't anyone's direct target. She clearly elevates this franchise and seems to be trying to get back the glitz and glamour of the early years which set BH apart from the other franchises. Whether that can be accomplished has yet to be seen. Next season will be a very telling one about the fate of this franchise. They either go the LVP glamour and fun with some snide bitchery route or they implode on a foundation of poser Californians.
  20. RH of Sydney Athena X is easily the worst among the group of insufferable women. Her fights with Nicole highlighted what a nutcase she is. She is pushy, strange, awful. The confrontation in the previews that showed Athena and Nicole shouting about the size of their respective diamond rings was so ridiculous. Athena revealed details about her childhood. Awful details. However, it appeared as an attempt to excuse herself. Victoria's storyline involving finding her birth father showed a different side of her which was easily her best side. The only nice one in the group is Melissa. Matty is pretty OK too, she's just angrier about it. This is the ugliest, nastiest, franchise in Housewives history.
  21. RH of Toronto This is a great franchise. 4 episodes have aired, 6 to go and I can say that it's already had a uniquely hilarious moment involving one of the housewives breaking a rib.
  22. Cheshire Dawn is playing the victim, just as Leanne said she would. It's bizarre that she's ignoring the 500 thousand pound loan she owes Leanne and her husband. That is an astronomical sum of money, I can't believe Leanne agreed to get into any loan situation with Dawn when it seems Dawn lives pretty high. Ester is a bounced Czech. I hope that husband of hers can prevent her from destroying that beautiful home with her garish taste. Stacey and Seema have backed the wrong horse by siding with Dawn. They clearly have no idea about the loan dispute between Leanne and Dawn. Misse...why do we have to see this bitch again? Lauren and Ampika are still plenty of fun. Thank goodness they're there.
  23. I really like the new NYC opening. It's glamorous. The taglines for Dorinda, Sonja and Luann are the best.
  24. Faye Dunaway was also an early choice for Sable. Faye being Faye, she wanted her salary to match Joan's salary on 'Dynasty'...she was not pursued after that.
  25. I loved this season. Although I can't stand Katie, I love both of the Toms and their love and everyone's love for Tom and Katie and the chance to see their real friendships was great. The bachelor and bachelorette party episodes in New Orleans were really fun. The scene of Tom seeing his brothers was really special. Lisa's role in their wedding was special. And then for Scheana and Shay's marriage to implode in the last episode...she had it coming. It was doomed from the start.
