BRAVO: Vanderpump Rules
The end of the episode with Tom Sandoval crying to LVP that he was proud to work for her and that he loved her was so sweet, especially as LVP herself cried as she high fived him. As Jax said, LVP has bigger balls than any of them.

BRAVO: Vanderpump Rules
James whimpering as Ken thundered "You little f*cker! I'll knock you spark out!" when James showed Lisa disrespect is one of my favourite reality television moments. Ken may be 70 but he'll never give up his old East End style.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOBH It's good to be back! LVP: uneasy lies the head that wears a crown...LVP clearly started this season uneasy about half the cast and how she was going to deal with them. From the looks of next week she found her nerve and is going to be aggressive and alpha dog in reasserting her authority over the rest of the women. And she will triumph. Kyle: within the first 10 minutes of the show she took a swipe at LVP ("she's going to make up with Rinna sooner because she's easier to manipulate") but we all know who and what Kyle is. The discussion of Mauricio buying a plane is cute - start with a house that's gated. Then you can look at planes. Rinna: she does need to eat some bread and her comment about her daughter's modelling career being "organic" made me laugh because that girl's career is about as organic as Rinna's silicone lips. Having said that she had a different energy to her when discussing her father's passing and her scene with "Harry Hamlin" was cute. Eileen: she came off weird in discussing her mother's death and how she didn't feel bad about it. And the thing is, I get it, I've had grandparents die and I didn't feel bad about it (a merciful release and all that)...it's Eileen's delivery. Everything is slightly off kilter. It's probably why Kristen Blake is such a compelling character to watch. Kyle, Rinna and Eileen were all very pressed about LVP and their talking heads reflect that she is the only thing that's interesting about any of them. Erika: she's still likeable and fun and interesting. And the thing is, she seems the most relaxed with LVP which reaffirms many people's theory that she and Yolanda weren't exactly best friends. Her birthday party was off the hook and I love that her mother named her after Erica Kane. Doritos: I don't really like this chick already. I've lived in several countries and regions that spoke foreign languages over my lifetime and my accent hasn't changed one iota from when I was a child. Doritos is kidding herself with all that staff - that alienates viewers like crazy! Her husband seems likeable. It's interesting that LVP knew Doritos husband, PK, before her. Just like LVP did with Mohamed and Yolanda. The nightclub business in London was/is a very male dominated field (Ken's East End boy style is standard there) so it's not really a surprise that many of Lisa's friends are men. She probably finds them easier to deal with.

If they EVER change the OC's finale guitar music I will lead a protest outside Bravo. That music is iconic - I would hate to see an OC finale without it.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yes - whoever thought up that tag line for Kyle is a genius - as is the GIF maker. She is so pathetically contrived.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Wow to LVP's...that's got to be the best tagline ever. She has never had a bad one. Erica's is good. Rinna's is OK. Eileen's is pretty good, if bland. Dorit's is dumb. I wish Kyle would let go of the lame theme she clings to about her Beverly Hills authenticity (despite living off a busy highway in Bel Air) and just make her tagline real like: "I stole Kim's goddamn house and I'd do it again too!"

Mike Shay and Scheana have filed for divorce! No one is surprised. Now when do Tom and Katie split?

It was so good to see this show again. Looks like a great season. My heart broke for Marissa and her husband - what a great couple.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
OC Shannon can kiss my ass. Here's what probably happened with Shannon and Vicki. After the affair Shannon probably fed Vicki a slew of statements about David being abusive and cried wolf about their domestic dramas and abuse. Vicki believed all of it, bought into the hysteria and concluded that David hit Shannon because Shannon probably said that David did or made ambiguous statements about her bruises like "I can't believe this is happening" or "he's hurt me so badly"...a lot of context gets lost in text and it's clear these women rely on text a lot. Conveniently, Shannon omitted the fact that David plead guilty to assault. Shannon didn't like that the ugly truth about her life got exposed and she is furious that she's been revealed as a mess worse than Vicki - and that says something. Everyone knows the rumour that Eddie is gay. It's been spread for years! From the day he started on the show. Tamra trying to pin it on Vicki is ridiculous. Vicki never should have repeated any of these rumours or beliefs to Kelly. She's wrong. She admitted as much. But it's awfully rich of Shannon and Tamra to act pious when they've trash talked on the same level for years. Heather is irrelevant. She tried to make herself happen during the reunion and it went nowhere. Meghan was irrelevant too. I hope she has a healthy baby and is never seen or heard again. Kelly mimicking Shannon's shocked face made my night. She didn't give a flying damn about these women and their opinion of her. They're going to need to fire Shannon. If she can't play nice with Queen Vicki (that explosion about being accused of being a CONWOMAN was fabulous) then she needs to exit stage right. Dr. Moon is waiting.

The Politics Thread
I think Trump will be truly miserable as President. CEO's delegate and are supported by their team of brilliant employees who can be blamed for mismanagement - the buck stops with the President and he takes the fall for every single mistake. Trump is not accustomed to that level of pressure. Melania and Barron not vacating Trump Tower is a logistical hell for the Secret Service. I can understand Melania not wanting to disrupt Barron (who, if I recall, is the youngest First Family child since the Kennedys) but it would be so much simpler, from a security perspective for them to buy a house in Greenwich, Connecticut and have Barron driven into the city daily. Another issue is after Trump is president - like all past Presidents he and the First Lady receive Secret Service detail for life - Manhattan will always be one of the hardest places to secure. Even where the Reagans lived in Bel Air was hard to secure and I remember reading that after the Reagans the Secret Service changed the rules for what style and location of home Presidents are allowed to live: has to be gated, preferably on a cul-de-sac or backing onto woodland or water. You'll notice the Bushes and Clintons all live like that now. Mar-A-Lago is just the opposite - that would be the ideal place for Trump to live when he's not in the White House and perhaps that will be pointed out to him. It'll be interesting to see where Obama moves to after his daughters have finished school in Washington - thank goodness they opted to stay there, I have a feeling Obama is going to be taking many trips to the White House to counsel Trump.

The View
The thing is, The View is bragging about their ratings being up...but they've plummeted from where they used to be. The Talk is a success story and it's ratings are comparatively stable. The View's current ratings bump is influenced by the election, for certain, but whether its viewers will get fatigued is yet to be seen. The Talk stays completely away from politics so its ratings are easier to predict.

Leave it to the Daily Mail - they've answered the question: Eileen is on an extended break, as confirmed by ITV, but it's widely speculated that she's retired: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3931494/It-s-sad-Iconic-soap-star-Eileen-Derbyshire-85-not-return-Coronation-Street-55-year-run-soap-confirms-extended-break.html

Just watched the Hot Topics segment with Meredith, Star, Joy and Debbie...it was GREAT! They need to just fire everyone except Joy and bring those three back.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I totally agree. She is truly unfiltered but also truly no calculated. Kelly is a sloppy, dirty fighter...but she does it without an agenda. She just lets it fly. Shannon tries to shame people but that will never work with Kelly.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Heather caught with her pants down, pulling all the diva behaviour she can to try and get Kelly fired. Heather is so full of crap. Her neighbourhood won't let her film at her house so what good is she? She says the restaurant walls were paper thin so Kelly's language could be heard by everyone as a reason for why she left...while screaming F*CK at the top of her own lungs? Nice try Heather. As an aside, Shannon is huge. She is incredibly bloated or has put on 30+ pounds.

NETFLIX: The Crown
I've binged on all 10 episodes. The beauty of this show is that, since it's based on actual people and events, there aren't really spoilers. That said, I'll give everyone interested some time to watch the show before I comment on anything specific. All I'll say is it's a masterpiece and I found myself incredibly moved. It has also shifted some of my views about a few members of the Royal Family.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Convicted felons like Ms. Giudice often can't travel to places like Hong Kong because the visa requirements have them list whether they have ever been convicted of a crime. Whether Teresa would answer that honestly is a whole other matter (does it count if she says she went to camp?) but Bravo would never risk it. It isn't as if the New Jersey housewives would even appreciate a trip abroad. P.F. Chang's is what they'd consider an authentic Asian experience.

What's strange is Eileen/Emily is still listed on ITV's site with Emily's address listed as 'somewhere in Peru'...having Emily tell Norris to sell her things doesn't bode well.

So is Eileen Derbyshire's Emily gone for good? I remember when she left the word was it was a 6 month break - and now we're coming up to a year...is she not well?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@Nothin'ButAttitude thank you for posting the OC and BH trailers in foreign friendly format! OC The end of this season was sad. Firstly, where was Jeana? Tammy? Quinn? Laurie? The usual pack of OC wives who can be counted on to show up for the end of season party. Tamra tried to go in for Vicki, as did Heather and Shannon...and they all failed. Vicki truly disengaged and walked and there wasn't a damn thing they could do about it. Kelly kept herself calm and sober. Heather telling Vicki not to move was really awful - Heather must be in a state of real delusion to think she was going to be vindicated by this episode. It was the nadir for Heather. Tamra is just consistently hypocritical and nasty, season after season, time after time, so it's not like she can get lower - she already rolls in the mud, but like a pig, she enjoys it. Shannon has put on a lot of bloat this season and looks even worse at the reunion. Dr. Moon is failing her. It's just bizarre that Shannon tries to deny that David hit her when she reported him to the police and he plead guilty. Lord knows why Shannon, with the skeletons in her closet, would think reality television would be a good place to gloss over the truth. All in all, once those guitar strings get strumming I am hooked and always satisfied I saw the season through. OC can be toxic, it can be mean, but for whatever reason, perhaps because it's the original, it's never a pain to watch and never a chore. I really am interested to see how the reunion plays out - I'm glad Vicki and Kelly are going in hard. Next season is going to need some rebalancing. Heather and Shannon both need to go. BH Love the trailer. It's incoherent but it's glamorous and looks lush and LVP is sitting back and watching those hyenas devour each other. Cheshire I'm hoping the season is winding down, it's dragged. They need to fire Stacey, Misse and Seema - they're all duds. I enjoy watching Dawn and Ampika because I like them both and think they're quite alike. I have always enjoyed Lauren and agree that Seema and Stacey have looked down on her unnecessarily - what the hell has Lauren done to any of them to deserve such scorn?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
OC Heather, Shannon and Tamra tried, and failed, yet again, to take the OG of the OC down. In doing so, they showed their ugliest faces, particularly Heather. They tried to bait Kelly and did their damnedest to provoke her - and then she slaughtered them because she dropped some truth bombs and just let the chips fall where they may. Heather really came off the worst standing their telling Kelly to shut up and that she was trash, while Heather was doing exactly the same crap. Shannon needs to just face the fact that her husband plead guilty to assault back in 2003 and however she wants to sweep it under the carpet, if the dozens of reports are true, it happened and she shouldn't have gone on the RHOC because it was inevitable that it was going to come out.
