  1. Dame Joan has a new movie coming out in the UK in March:
  2. I really, really want Jeana to come back to OC as a Friend like Camille...she is so needed to check these broads. Losing Meghan is no loss. We can't be surprised Tamra returned, she is waaaaaay up Andy's ass so her return was guaranteed.
  3. That's my take completely.
  4. I'm loving the look of the Sydney promo. I need a dash of glamour that only a new series premiere from an international franchise can provide. Beverly Hills has been good so far with a decent mix of light and dark. Atlanta has been enjoyable as well (who needs Nene?) but neither has been dynamic like an international franchise premiere. The seasons are simply too long.
  5. ATL I don't buy it with Kenya. She is a performer and I don't buy any of what she's selling, including that budget hair care. Loved seeing Marlo, her outfit was fabulous. When did Kandi get this bitter? There is a real sense of bitterness to how she is. I would have bought one of Sheree's t shirts...I don't know why anyone thought to mock her, she donated money!
  6. Loved this episode...despise Juliet. What a bitch. That venal cow needs to never be on television again - the commentary about Adela's suicide attempt was just disgusting. Talk about a total lack of empathy, common sense and manners. I was so happy to see Sophie gun for Juliet at breakfast at the end of the episode. Juliet is incredibly unaware of how awful a person she is. Everyone at that table was against her and she got defensive like a crazy person. This is one of the funniest Bravo franchises, mind you. The discussion about what colour Caroline Fleming's bikini line is was hilarious. Sophie gives me life. She is so fun! Same with Adela, what a great addition. Marissa handled all those "rumour" discussions like a pro even though she's clearly utterly exhausted and blown out. It was interesting how Caroline Stanbury's attempt to trash Marissa at breakfast fell apart as everyone (sans Juliet) cooed how much they like their Marissa chats and Caroline Stanbury basically threw in the towel on trying to get to her.
  7. Did anyone else catch that Camille seemed to be regifting the orchid to Kyle that Eileen gave her last week? I'm less team Doritos than @Nothin'ButAttitude but I do agree she handled herself at the table a lot better than most first year Housewives. Kim Richards doesn't appear sober to me, something still seems way off and her horrible taunting of Lips about Harry Hamlin shows her defective personality hasn't changed. I can't blame Lips for getting angry and yeah, she threw a low blow, but it wasn't dishonest. It's not like she fabricated that Kim was arrested - she was! Kyle, as an enabler, just wants to sweep it under the rug. Eden seems to live the AA tenants a lot more seriously than Kim and was straight up. Eileen didn't like getting called out for her interactions with Lips, but they're hard pressed to deny they don't bounce off each other. Not much from LVP and Erika, who seem to enjoy each other's company when they were quietly hanging by the pool.
  8. Glynis Barber went all the way with that morgue scene. The sounds she made, particularly as Glenda walked into the post mortem viewing area, were so guttural and real. Glenda's pathetic whimpering, telling Jack they "need to sort the funeral"...you nearly felt sorry for Glenda, as if, after Ronnie and Roxy were gone, it had dawned on her just how badly she'd failed them as a mother and that there was nothing to be done to make amends.
  9. *Cries* you mean to say that Melissa never had a legitimate business and that she only used it for storyline purposes and will have to make up a new venture?!
  10. BH... Eileen made an ass of herself with Doritos who faked stupidity really, really well. So well you'd almost believe she's that dumb. I don't believe Eileen used the deaths of her family members as an excuse at all for what happened with LVP. I think Eileen didn't like being called a home wrecker when that's exactly what she is and didn't like being told to close her legs to married men. Lips seemed to misunderstand PK - he wasn't criticizing her. He was saying it made absolute sense that she would change her perspective on conflict after her father died. Lips seemed to miss that point. Otherwise, I loved how she didn't understand Elliot Mintz at all - that was funny. I still dislike Doritos - she's likely renting that house and her crummy relations with Erika annoy me. Erika did nothing to her - I don't understand why she wants to stir things up. Great seeing Camille and in case anyone is wondering - she has two houses in Malibu. The one we saw in this episode which cost her $2.3 million and one right on the beach which cost her $6 million. She is living a great life. Good for her! LVP and Kyle didn't have much to do this episode. It keeps them above the fray and I enjoy a good scene at the dermatologists office more than most - I am curious what LVP was having done to her neck. Erika and her Creative Director, Mickey, seem to have a very solid friendship when they are their private selves. Eden could be a total hot mess - time will tell about her.
  11. Goodness, I love this show. The producers/editors were trolling Juliet so hard this episode it was hilarious. They were practically showing outtakes of her talking head interviews and showing that she knows jack sh*t about having a decent blog. The problem with being an online presence is that you are unabashedly on display and people are either going to love you or hate you - and that's Juliet's problem, she is so unlikeable. Hell, even her 8 year old daughter seems to troll her. Juliet really didn't come off well with Marissa. That awful, smug, nasty look on her face when Marissa called out Juliet for taking swipes at Marissa's traveling to New York was ugly. Uglier still was her attempt to deflect, which failed miserably because it wasn't even about her! Next week looks to flop for Caroline Stanbury as she changes her story from saying Marissa started the rumour to Marissa repeating the rumour being just as bad. No, girl, it isn't. I really enjoyed drunk Sophie. That lady is fun!
  12. Glynis has hinted that we have not seen the last of Glenda and Danny.
  13. Yessssssss
  14. Such a dark, creepy death for Roxy and Ronnie. Props to Eastenders in that it was an original way to kill Ronnie off - there's something poetic about her wedding dress weighing her down to her death. The Mitchell sisters did bring one great element to the show - their mother, Glenda Mitchell, played by the fabulous Glynis Barber. I was glad to see her in the episode, but then I do so enjoy a character like Glenda...I recall a scene from a year or so ago when she took a little bit of money out of Ronnie's purse...so awful and naughty and bitchy. Glynis plays it so perfectly.
  15. We know for sure that LuAnn invited Dorinda and Sonja. Dorinda was at the wedding (I think in the wedding party). Sonja declined, but she did attend LuAnn's bridal shower. LuAnn definitely didn't invite Bethenny and Carol. Ramona is a toss up, but she didn't go and she didn't go to LuAnn's bridal shower. I wish LuAnn luck and a very happy life with Tom.
  16. I can't see it being Lisa R...she is way too focused and energetic to be on Xanax. It's either Doritos or Eden Sassoon or Kim Richards.
  17. I'm loving this season...I just wonder how its ratings are. Ladies of London never seems to get the love the rest of the Bravo lineup garners. Adela is a great addition to the cast because she lets it all hang out. That said, I can imagine she'd be a nightmare of an ex-wife and she doesn't seem to take the hint that her teenage children do not want to be around her. As Caroline Stanbury wisely told her, she's wasting all her money on lawyers who cannot help her. Caroline Fleming has redeemed herself magically this season. I still find her unbearable, but at least I can see why she is how she is: starved for her father's attention. Caroline Stanbury is very angry this season and it seems she just needs to leave London, go to Dubai and check herself. The failure of her business really seems to have hurt her confidence and she's lashed out to everyone. Her allegations about Marissa spreading rumours don't make a lot of sense when Marissa's been on her deathbed, delivery room, infant's hospital room or Hampton's family wedding. Marissa has been to hell and back. I loved her party. I loved those balloon hats. I loved her watermelon shots. It seems that since the show has wrapped she's living in Pacific Palisades...who knows if it's temporary or not. Jules as the Lady of Mapperton is a hoot. She got lucky with her husband, he seems like an excellent person and the best kind of stepfather. Sophie is another good addition to the cast. She contributed a lot last season and has only grown. She is a good balance to Caroline Stanbury's viciousness. It's sad that her marriage has collapsed but she seems a devoted mother. But let's tackle the elephant in the room: Juliet. What the hell is she doing on the show? She brings nothing to the table at all. Zero. She isn't relevant. She has nothing going on. She contributes absolutely nothing and has no value. Why did they put her in the opening credits? Why did they pay her?
  18. Michele Lee (74), Dame Joan Collins (83), Joan Van Ark (73) and Donna Mills (76) at a Christmas party hosted by Donna at her Los Angeles home.
  19. BH You can really see LVP's return deal with the producers in this episode. She got to highlight her dog rescue charity donations, she and Ken got to do some dog grooming and LVP totally avoided the drama between Erika and Dorito. She walked in right at the end of the discussion and avoided all the drama. A totally harmless episode for LVP. Dorito is a tacky bitch whose probably living in a rented house built, perhaps, precariously in the lesser hills of Beverly. I don't like how she handled things with Erika - again, why is Erika being blamed for PK looking up her skirt? PK is the douche, not Erika. I actually enjoyed Affairleen this episode. When she was sitting with her legs wide open, gently imitating Erika I laughed out loud. That's the most relaxed she's been since she joined the show. Her blood pact with Lips endures (and good for them!). It was cool to see Mal Young on camera - he seems like a really relaxed, cool executive producer. I also really enjoyed watching Lips sell her wares on QVC. That gruelling 24 hour selling day would test anyone...but there's Lips hustling away. Nobody can say she isn't a hard worker. I also appreciate that she's honest about money and how Harry Hamlin (note that's his name in her phone) took crappy jobs to support the family. Harry Hamlin is a gifted actor - he graduated from Yale drama school and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship - he is not a hack. But he's done plenty of hack work to keep a roof over everyone's heads, so it's nice to see how humble Lips is about their successes and failures.
  20. "$18, for a rag." - Stassi. I really enjoyed how everyone, except Katie, hates the tea towel wedding invite. I hate it too. If this wasn't a 'Wedding by Bravo' she'd never dream of spending money on such a stupid invitation. Loved the scene of Lisa shooting James down when he came back like a prick asking for his job back. Side note: everyone recall that George Michael was James Kennedy's godfather but they hadn't spoken in years because James' father fell out with George?
  21. Doritos and PK remind me even more of Taylor and Russell Armstrong now that it seems they're fronting their lifestyle. That kitchen was embarrassingly empty - except the big HP printer on the countertop - because who doesn't have one of those next to the coffee maker? It's a rented house from the looks of things and that Bentley is probably leased. If Erika didn't have underwear on and PK looked up her dress HE is the pervert, not her! Why is Doritos acting like Erika is the problem at all? From the first episode, Erika and Doritos didn't seem to like each other and so they're going to be the feud. That's fine. I hope Erika annihilates her. LVP is always originally friends with the husbands of these women, never the wives. And I imagine they're all really Ken's friends. It's clear she adores Ken and her kids and her animals. And I think that's where it stops with LVP. Loyal to the death for her family but that's it. I imagine she's cynical about friends given what she's dealt with for years on this show. Kyle takes so many digs at LVP in her talking head interviews I don't know how she can stand to be around her. I think the season is a slow burn but has a decent balance of light and heavy. Eileen's incredibly unhappy time is sad to watch as she is dealing with real grief. I have mixed feelings about Eileen because of her actions last season and her raging insecurities but there's no way you can ignore the real hell she's been through and empathize with that. Kyle's store - I can't believe people shop there. Her daughter seems whiney just like her. If only Alicia Silverstone got to play the real Big Kathy - that would be the role of a lifetime - it'll be some watered down mess I'm sure. As an aside, every single time I see Kyle's house I'm reminded how mediocre it is. Not even gated and below the freeway! Lips was hilarious with her daughters because deep down she is a nice lady from Oregon like her mother. I could watch her embarrass those daughters all day long. Neither one of them is model material, however, and I hope they have legitimate college plans.
  22. I agree with you. Although neither of them look good, Kandi is coming across very bitter and mean.
  23. Eileen could be accused of being a lot of things. Secure is not one of them.
  24. Phaedra has been living relatively modestly from day one. The house she filmed in for RHOA, located in Smyrna, was sold for $350,000.00 in 2014 according to that Curbed article. That would mean she's been renting the last few years (inexpensively given the Atlanta market)...the mansion Nene bought cost her $2.1 million, so Phaedra's is a little cheaper, but it looks beautiful. Regardless of how shady some of these ladies are, I do wish each and every one of them financial security for the future. They put themselves out for public consumption and it's just pathetic when they have nothing to show for it when their moment in the spotlight is over. Take Lynn Curtin from RHOC - she basically wound up broke with two porn star daughters and a broken marriage and absolutely nothing to show for it. That's just sad.
  25. RHoBH Kyle is such a fake bitch. She goes between all sides with that kaftan flying full of lies. Going over to Rinna and Eileen right after LVP has spoken to them? Then back to LVP? Then dissecting LVP in her talking heads? LVP was aggressive with Eileen and the 'joke' about Vince being up another woman's skirt. And that's not her best look. At the same time, Eileen annoyed the hell out of me with her strange, weird reaction to LVP offering her condolences about the loss of her mother, expecting an apology about THE AFFAIR yet again. Eileen really should just own the fact that she cheated on Jon Lindstrom and took a part in breaking up Vince's marriage and that she's an unrepentant home wrecker who can't "own it"...it's the fact that she's offended that LVP brought up THE AFFAIR, which...er...is actually what it was. Eileen spread her legs to a married man (copyright Nene Leakes) and doesn't like the fact that everyone knows. Well, sorry about that Eileen but since you're humourless about the whole indiscretion LVP is going to ride you hard and put you away wet. Erika seems to already hate Dorito. I'm enjoying Erika this season so I'm inclined to agree with her. Dorito and PK have shades of Taylor and Russell Armstrong about them - from what little I've seen online he's been bankrupt and walked away from creditors in the UK pretty shamelessly. I wonder if he actually bought that car. Anything can be rented these days.
