  1. Goodness, I love this show. The producers/editors were trolling Juliet so hard this episode it was hilarious. They were practically showing outtakes of her talking head interviews and showing that she knows jack sh*t about having a decent blog. The problem with being an online presence is that you are unabashedly on display and people are either going to love you or hate you - and that's Juliet's problem, she is so unlikeable. Hell, even her 8 year old daughter seems to troll her. Juliet really didn't come off well with Marissa. That awful, smug, nasty look on her face when Marissa called out Juliet for taking swipes at Marissa's traveling to New York was ugly. Uglier still was her attempt to deflect, which failed miserably because it wasn't even about her! Next week looks to flop for Caroline Stanbury as she changes her story from saying Marissa started the rumour to Marissa repeating the rumour being just as bad. No, girl, it isn't. I really enjoyed drunk Sophie. That lady is fun!
  2. Glynis has hinted that we have not seen the last of Glenda and Danny.
  3. Yessssssss
  4. Such a dark, creepy death for Roxy and Ronnie. Props to Eastenders in that it was an original way to kill Ronnie off - there's something poetic about her wedding dress weighing her down to her death. The Mitchell sisters did bring one great element to the show - their mother, Glenda Mitchell, played by the fabulous Glynis Barber. I was glad to see her in the episode, but then I do so enjoy a character like Glenda...I recall a scene from a year or so ago when she took a little bit of money out of Ronnie's purse...so awful and naughty and bitchy. Glynis plays it so perfectly.
  5. We know for sure that LuAnn invited Dorinda and Sonja. Dorinda was at the wedding (I think in the wedding party). Sonja declined, but she did attend LuAnn's bridal shower. LuAnn definitely didn't invite Bethenny and Carol. Ramona is a toss up, but she didn't go and she didn't go to LuAnn's bridal shower. I wish LuAnn luck and a very happy life with Tom.
  6. I can't see it being Lisa R...she is way too focused and energetic to be on Xanax. It's either Doritos or Eden Sassoon or Kim Richards.
  7. I'm loving this season...I just wonder how its ratings are. Ladies of London never seems to get the love the rest of the Bravo lineup garners. Adela is a great addition to the cast because she lets it all hang out. That said, I can imagine she'd be a nightmare of an ex-wife and she doesn't seem to take the hint that her teenage children do not want to be around her. As Caroline Stanbury wisely told her, she's wasting all her money on lawyers who cannot help her. Caroline Fleming has redeemed herself magically this season. I still find her unbearable, but at least I can see why she is how she is: starved for her father's attention. Caroline Stanbury is very angry this season and it seems she just needs to leave London, go to Dubai and check herself. The failure of her business really seems to have hurt her confidence and she's lashed out to everyone. Her allegations about Marissa spreading rumours don't make a lot of sense when Marissa's been on her deathbed, delivery room, infant's hospital room or Hampton's family wedding. Marissa has been to hell and back. I loved her party. I loved those balloon hats. I loved her watermelon shots. It seems that since the show has wrapped she's living in Pacific Palisades...who knows if it's temporary or not. Jules as the Lady of Mapperton is a hoot. She got lucky with her husband, he seems like an excellent person and the best kind of stepfather. Sophie is another good addition to the cast. She contributed a lot last season and has only grown. She is a good balance to Caroline Stanbury's viciousness. It's sad that her marriage has collapsed but she seems a devoted mother. But let's tackle the elephant in the room: Juliet. What the hell is she doing on the show? She brings nothing to the table at all. Zero. She isn't relevant. She has nothing going on. She contributes absolutely nothing and has no value. Why did they put her in the opening credits? Why did they pay her?
  8. Michele Lee (74), Dame Joan Collins (83), Joan Van Ark (73) and Donna Mills (76) at a Christmas party hosted by Donna at her Los Angeles home.
  9. BH You can really see LVP's return deal with the producers in this episode. She got to highlight her dog rescue charity donations, she and Ken got to do some dog grooming and LVP totally avoided the drama between Erika and Dorito. She walked in right at the end of the discussion and avoided all the drama. A totally harmless episode for LVP. Dorito is a tacky bitch whose probably living in a rented house built, perhaps, precariously in the lesser hills of Beverly. I don't like how she handled things with Erika - again, why is Erika being blamed for PK looking up her skirt? PK is the douche, not Erika. I actually enjoyed Affairleen this episode. When she was sitting with her legs wide open, gently imitating Erika I laughed out loud. That's the most relaxed she's been since she joined the show. Her blood pact with Lips endures (and good for them!). It was cool to see Mal Young on camera - he seems like a really relaxed, cool executive producer. I also really enjoyed watching Lips sell her wares on QVC. That gruelling 24 hour selling day would test anyone...but there's Lips hustling away. Nobody can say she isn't a hard worker. I also appreciate that she's honest about money and how Harry Hamlin (note that's his name in her phone) took crappy jobs to support the family. Harry Hamlin is a gifted actor - he graduated from Yale drama school and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship - he is not a hack. But he's done plenty of hack work to keep a roof over everyone's heads, so it's nice to see how humble Lips is about their successes and failures.
  10. "$18, for a rag." - Stassi. I really enjoyed how everyone, except Katie, hates the tea towel wedding invite. I hate it too. If this wasn't a 'Wedding by Bravo' she'd never dream of spending money on such a stupid invitation. Loved the scene of Lisa shooting James down when he came back like a prick asking for his job back. Side note: everyone recall that George Michael was James Kennedy's godfather but they hadn't spoken in years because James' father fell out with George?
  11. Doritos and PK remind me even more of Taylor and Russell Armstrong now that it seems they're fronting their lifestyle. That kitchen was embarrassingly empty - except the big HP printer on the countertop - because who doesn't have one of those next to the coffee maker? It's a rented house from the looks of things and that Bentley is probably leased. If Erika didn't have underwear on and PK looked up her dress HE is the pervert, not her! Why is Doritos acting like Erika is the problem at all? From the first episode, Erika and Doritos didn't seem to like each other and so they're going to be the feud. That's fine. I hope Erika annihilates her. LVP is always originally friends with the husbands of these women, never the wives. And I imagine they're all really Ken's friends. It's clear she adores Ken and her kids and her animals. And I think that's where it stops with LVP. Loyal to the death for her family but that's it. I imagine she's cynical about friends given what she's dealt with for years on this show. Kyle takes so many digs at LVP in her talking head interviews I don't know how she can stand to be around her. I think the season is a slow burn but has a decent balance of light and heavy. Eileen's incredibly unhappy time is sad to watch as she is dealing with real grief. I have mixed feelings about Eileen because of her actions last season and her raging insecurities but there's no way you can ignore the real hell she's been through and empathize with that. Kyle's store - I can't believe people shop there. Her daughter seems whiney just like her. If only Alicia Silverstone got to play the real Big Kathy - that would be the role of a lifetime - it'll be some watered down mess I'm sure. As an aside, every single time I see Kyle's house I'm reminded how mediocre it is. Not even gated and below the freeway! Lips was hilarious with her daughters because deep down she is a nice lady from Oregon like her mother. I could watch her embarrass those daughters all day long. Neither one of them is model material, however, and I hope they have legitimate college plans.
  12. I agree with you. Although neither of them look good, Kandi is coming across very bitter and mean.
  13. Eileen could be accused of being a lot of things. Secure is not one of them.
  14. Phaedra has been living relatively modestly from day one. The house she filmed in for RHOA, located in Smyrna, was sold for $350,000.00 in 2014 according to that Curbed article. That would mean she's been renting the last few years (inexpensively given the Atlanta market)...the mansion Nene bought cost her $2.1 million, so Phaedra's is a little cheaper, but it looks beautiful. Regardless of how shady some of these ladies are, I do wish each and every one of them financial security for the future. They put themselves out for public consumption and it's just pathetic when they have nothing to show for it when their moment in the spotlight is over. Take Lynn Curtin from RHOC - she basically wound up broke with two porn star daughters and a broken marriage and absolutely nothing to show for it. That's just sad.
  15. RHoBH Kyle is such a fake bitch. She goes between all sides with that kaftan flying full of lies. Going over to Rinna and Eileen right after LVP has spoken to them? Then back to LVP? Then dissecting LVP in her talking heads? LVP was aggressive with Eileen and the 'joke' about Vince being up another woman's skirt. And that's not her best look. At the same time, Eileen annoyed the hell out of me with her strange, weird reaction to LVP offering her condolences about the loss of her mother, expecting an apology about THE AFFAIR yet again. Eileen really should just own the fact that she cheated on Jon Lindstrom and took a part in breaking up Vince's marriage and that she's an unrepentant home wrecker who can't "own it"...it's the fact that she's offended that LVP brought up THE AFFAIR, which...er...is actually what it was. Eileen spread her legs to a married man (copyright Nene Leakes) and doesn't like the fact that everyone knows. Well, sorry about that Eileen but since you're humourless about the whole indiscretion LVP is going to ride you hard and put you away wet. Erika seems to already hate Dorito. I'm enjoying Erika this season so I'm inclined to agree with her. Dorito and PK have shades of Taylor and Russell Armstrong about them - from what little I've seen online he's been bankrupt and walked away from creditors in the UK pretty shamelessly. I wonder if he actually bought that car. Anything can be rented these days.
  16. The end of the episode with Tom Sandoval crying to LVP that he was proud to work for her and that he loved her was so sweet, especially as LVP herself cried as she high fived him. As Jax said, LVP has bigger balls than any of them.
  17. James whimpering as Ken thundered "You little f*cker! I'll knock you spark out!" when James showed Lisa disrespect is one of my favourite reality television moments. Ken may be 70 but he'll never give up his old East End style.
  18. RHOBH It's good to be back! LVP: uneasy lies the head that wears a crown...LVP clearly started this season uneasy about half the cast and how she was going to deal with them. From the looks of next week she found her nerve and is going to be aggressive and alpha dog in reasserting her authority over the rest of the women. And she will triumph. Kyle: within the first 10 minutes of the show she took a swipe at LVP ("she's going to make up with Rinna sooner because she's easier to manipulate") but we all know who and what Kyle is. The discussion of Mauricio buying a plane is cute - start with a house that's gated. Then you can look at planes. Rinna: she does need to eat some bread and her comment about her daughter's modelling career being "organic" made me laugh because that girl's career is about as organic as Rinna's silicone lips. Having said that she had a different energy to her when discussing her father's passing and her scene with "Harry Hamlin" was cute. Eileen: she came off weird in discussing her mother's death and how she didn't feel bad about it. And the thing is, I get it, I've had grandparents die and I didn't feel bad about it (a merciful release and all that)...it's Eileen's delivery. Everything is slightly off kilter. It's probably why Kristen Blake is such a compelling character to watch. Kyle, Rinna and Eileen were all very pressed about LVP and their talking heads reflect that she is the only thing that's interesting about any of them. Erika: she's still likeable and fun and interesting. And the thing is, she seems the most relaxed with LVP which reaffirms many people's theory that she and Yolanda weren't exactly best friends. Her birthday party was off the hook and I love that her mother named her after Erica Kane. Doritos: I don't really like this chick already. I've lived in several countries and regions that spoke foreign languages over my lifetime and my accent hasn't changed one iota from when I was a child. Doritos is kidding herself with all that staff - that alienates viewers like crazy! Her husband seems likeable. It's interesting that LVP knew Doritos husband, PK, before her. Just like LVP did with Mohamed and Yolanda. The nightclub business in London was/is a very male dominated field (Ken's East End boy style is standard there) so it's not really a surprise that many of Lisa's friends are men. She probably finds them easier to deal with.
  19. If they EVER change the OC's finale guitar music I will lead a protest outside Bravo. That music is iconic - I would hate to see an OC finale without it.
  20. Yes - whoever thought up that tag line for Kyle is a genius - as is the GIF maker. She is so pathetically contrived.
  21. Wow to LVP's...that's got to be the best tagline ever. She has never had a bad one. Erica's is good. Rinna's is OK. Eileen's is pretty good, if bland. Dorit's is dumb. I wish Kyle would let go of the lame theme she clings to about her Beverly Hills authenticity (despite living off a busy highway in Bel Air) and just make her tagline real like: "I stole Kim's goddamn house and I'd do it again too!"
  22. Mike Shay and Scheana have filed for divorce! No one is surprised. Now when do Tom and Katie split?
  23. It was so good to see this show again. Looks like a great season. My heart broke for Marissa and her husband - what a great couple.
  24. OC Shannon can kiss my ass. Here's what probably happened with Shannon and Vicki. After the affair Shannon probably fed Vicki a slew of statements about David being abusive and cried wolf about their domestic dramas and abuse. Vicki believed all of it, bought into the hysteria and concluded that David hit Shannon because Shannon probably said that David did or made ambiguous statements about her bruises like "I can't believe this is happening" or "he's hurt me so badly"...a lot of context gets lost in text and it's clear these women rely on text a lot. Conveniently, Shannon omitted the fact that David plead guilty to assault. Shannon didn't like that the ugly truth about her life got exposed and she is furious that she's been revealed as a mess worse than Vicki - and that says something. Everyone knows the rumour that Eddie is gay. It's been spread for years! From the day he started on the show. Tamra trying to pin it on Vicki is ridiculous. Vicki never should have repeated any of these rumours or beliefs to Kelly. She's wrong. She admitted as much. But it's awfully rich of Shannon and Tamra to act pious when they've trash talked on the same level for years. Heather is irrelevant. She tried to make herself happen during the reunion and it went nowhere. Meghan was irrelevant too. I hope she has a healthy baby and is never seen or heard again. Kelly mimicking Shannon's shocked face made my night. She didn't give a flying damn about these women and their opinion of her. They're going to need to fire Shannon. If she can't play nice with Queen Vicki (that explosion about being accused of being a CONWOMAN was fabulous) then she needs to exit stage right. Dr. Moon is waiting.
  25. I think Trump will be truly miserable as President. CEO's delegate and are supported by their team of brilliant employees who can be blamed for mismanagement - the buck stops with the President and he takes the fall for every single mistake. Trump is not accustomed to that level of pressure. Melania and Barron not vacating Trump Tower is a logistical hell for the Secret Service. I can understand Melania not wanting to disrupt Barron (who, if I recall, is the youngest First Family child since the Kennedys) but it would be so much simpler, from a security perspective for them to buy a house in Greenwich, Connecticut and have Barron driven into the city daily. Another issue is after Trump is president - like all past Presidents he and the First Lady receive Secret Service detail for life - Manhattan will always be one of the hardest places to secure. Even where the Reagans lived in Bel Air was hard to secure and I remember reading that after the Reagans the Secret Service changed the rules for what style and location of home Presidents are allowed to live: has to be gated, preferably on a cul-de-sac or backing onto woodland or water. You'll notice the Bushes and Clintons all live like that now. Mar-A-Lago is just the opposite - that would be the ideal place for Trump to live when he's not in the White House and perhaps that will be pointed out to him. It'll be interesting to see where Obama moves to after his daughters have finished school in Washington - thank goodness they opted to stay there, I have a feeling Obama is going to be taking many trips to the White House to counsel Trump.
