  1. Apologies Cat, I thought it was you who came with the additional receipts on Dawn! It must have been @Cheap21 if it wasn't you! It's true - the Wards money never made sense given Ashley's career prospects after he retired as a footballer. Unless you're Beckham or Lineker it's a cold world out there.
  2. @Cat and I both linked to several stories about the Wards alleged finances. They seem to live large...without much to back it up. Could you imagine lending friends nearly 1 million dollars?
  3. I think the ship has sailed for Magali - if she didn't return this season I don't see them ever having her back. I read about the loan issue between Leanne and Dawn - sounds terrible. A five hundred thousand pound loan is an awful lot of money and if the Wards needed it that sure speaks to their financial situation.
  4. I think Seema's still there because she has a glamorous business - you can't top fashion.
  5. A new Real Housewives of Sydney promo: And in Real Housewives of Cheshire news the show returns March 27 and .
  6. I missed this totally and I would love for all of it to be true. Especially the one about Ivana, the behind the scenes power broker. I don't doubt that the eldest Trump hates his father, he apparently did as a child.
  7. BH Last night was a terrible one for Rinna. That was the worst acting of her career and she couldn't keep her performance up for even 15 minutes. Anyone watching this episode could see she was lying - even without the flashbacks courtesy of Bravo which prove she was lying - she had all the tells of looking into the distance, fumbling her words and then backtracking all within minutes. I find it strange that Affairleen and Rinna thought it wise to comment about LVP being glad of Rinna's gossiping coming out - OF COURSE SHE WOULD BE! I was thrilled for LVP that Rinna was exposed this episode. It doesn't mean LVP is an angel, but it does mean Rinna is a liar. LVP described it perfectly - Rinna has rage and regret. She was so furious and tearful by the pool (as Doritos amusingly said "You're not going to end it all here are you?") but it's all her own doing. I really liked Erika this episode. The compassion she showed to Rinna was admirable and I loved her robot style dress. It could only work on her. Kyle is clearly exhausted from all the Kim talk - who could blame her? Eden is a nutcase who shouldn't be on TV. I enjoyed Eileen basically admitting she has horrible diarrhea on television. And she looked AMAZING in that white dress. Soap Opera Perfection. I'm liking Eileen a lot more this season. Doritos and PK seem to actually like each other. And Doritos relationship with her kids is endearing.
  8. No Dame Joan as Alexis? No show worth watching.
  9. Sophie is not to be messed with. She is much tougher than anyone gives her credit for. The eldest Trump child, Don Jr., has said that he didn't speak to his father for a year after he separated from Ivana. Then there is apparent consensus among the three eldest that Ivana raised them, Ivana's parents were instrumental in their childhoods (the oldest son speaks fluent Czech) and that their contact with Donald was limited. Once they were done university, Ivana has said she basically gave the children to Donald saying 'Here is the finished product' and that he built his relationships with them working together. The youngest, Eric Trump, seems the most like his mother - a gentler spirit than his two siblings. Ivana was a very strong woman for a very long time. In some ways I think she has crumbled a little bit as she approaches her 70th birthday. I don't think she has any fight left in her. She and her mother attended the inauguration and had front row centre seats, but had to move because Ivana's mother used a wheelchair. When Ivana heard that Marla Maples was attending an inauguration party she immediately left DC and flew back to Manhattan en route to Paris. I don't think she's got it in her to fight one more second.
  10. I have to disagree, with the utmost respect. There is little issue with Trudeau speaking French in Quebec. The issue he had a month or two ago was at a town hall meeting where he was in a bilingual audience and a citizen asked a question about English language medical service access (she lives in a Francophone area) and Trudeau answered her back in French - it was a simple mistake and the controversy was short lived. Canada is a bilingual country. My French isn't great, but I'm glad the bilingualism is forced on us in school. The far right in Canada is fringe and not respectable. They hate Trudeau with a passion, but they generally hate every politician who isn't from Alberta. The good news is they're an old demographic, so they won't be with us for long. I'm happy with the press conference went. We are stuck with Trump so it's good to see him calm with the likes of Trudeau and Theresa May.
  11. Sayonara Glenda, but I enjoyed her last little dig at Max, which she has called correctly. Glynis Barber has said she really enjoys playing Glenda. It's a great part for any actress, but Glynis melts into the character and you don't see much of the lovely woman married to Michael Brandon and friend to Joan Collins when she slithers about in Glenda's shoes and M&S sweater sets.
  12. Neither do I. However, they aren't snide or rude. They're just normal teenagers who are enabled by their mother to chase whatever showbusiness aspirations they might have.
  13. Real Housewives of Toronto trailer is up:
  14. I agree, in part. LVP needs to CUT HER HAIR and take out any extensions (not sure if she has them). I'm not saying it needs to be drastically cut, but it needs to be lightened up in volume. Her makeup is heavy and she simply doesn't need it - she is a beautiful woman. Her clothing choices are all over the place. When LVP is dressed in a plain white shirt she looks drop dead beautiful. In her suits she looks great. Some of her gowns are wonderful. But then she will wear a really dolly dress style schmata and I just scream "Nooooooooo!" Recall how regal she looked in Dubai with her hair up and in that caftan? LVP has such potential. I want her to not do any more filler for a year, just to see how things go. She still looks good, but I think she looked better and more natural in season 1.
  15. "It's a little odd to be baking this bread d*ck over an open fire." - Sophie Stanbury This season has been so great and funny. Caroline Fleming is a cooky oddball and she's redeemed herself very well this season. Juliet continues to be trolled by the producers. Adela was a brilliant addition this season, in addition to the upgrade for Sophie. It's been so enjoyable. I do fear this is the end given that Caroline Stanbury is Dubai bound and Marissa appears to have moved to California.
  16. Dame Joan has a new movie coming out in the UK in March:
  17. I really, really want Jeana to come back to OC as a Friend like Camille...she is so needed to check these broads. Losing Meghan is no loss. We can't be surprised Tamra returned, she is waaaaaay up Andy's ass so her return was guaranteed.
  18. That's my take completely.
  19. I'm loving the look of the Sydney promo. I need a dash of glamour that only a new series premiere from an international franchise can provide. Beverly Hills has been good so far with a decent mix of light and dark. Atlanta has been enjoyable as well (who needs Nene?) but neither has been dynamic like an international franchise premiere. The seasons are simply too long.
  20. ATL I don't buy it with Kenya. She is a performer and I don't buy any of what she's selling, including that budget hair care. Loved seeing Marlo, her outfit was fabulous. When did Kandi get this bitter? There is a real sense of bitterness to how she is. I would have bought one of Sheree's t shirts...I don't know why anyone thought to mock her, she donated money!
  21. Loved this episode...despise Juliet. What a bitch. That venal cow needs to never be on television again - the commentary about Adela's suicide attempt was just disgusting. Talk about a total lack of empathy, common sense and manners. I was so happy to see Sophie gun for Juliet at breakfast at the end of the episode. Juliet is incredibly unaware of how awful a person she is. Everyone at that table was against her and she got defensive like a crazy person. This is one of the funniest Bravo franchises, mind you. The discussion about what colour Caroline Fleming's bikini line is was hilarious. Sophie gives me life. She is so fun! Same with Adela, what a great addition. Marissa handled all those "rumour" discussions like a pro even though she's clearly utterly exhausted and blown out. It was interesting how Caroline Stanbury's attempt to trash Marissa at breakfast fell apart as everyone (sans Juliet) cooed how much they like their Marissa chats and Caroline Stanbury basically threw in the towel on trying to get to her.
  22. Did anyone else catch that Camille seemed to be regifting the orchid to Kyle that Eileen gave her last week? I'm less team Doritos than @Nothin'ButAttitude but I do agree she handled herself at the table a lot better than most first year Housewives. Kim Richards doesn't appear sober to me, something still seems way off and her horrible taunting of Lips about Harry Hamlin shows her defective personality hasn't changed. I can't blame Lips for getting angry and yeah, she threw a low blow, but it wasn't dishonest. It's not like she fabricated that Kim was arrested - she was! Kyle, as an enabler, just wants to sweep it under the rug. Eden seems to live the AA tenants a lot more seriously than Kim and was straight up. Eileen didn't like getting called out for her interactions with Lips, but they're hard pressed to deny they don't bounce off each other. Not much from LVP and Erika, who seem to enjoy each other's company when they were quietly hanging by the pool.
  23. Glynis Barber went all the way with that morgue scene. The sounds she made, particularly as Glenda walked into the post mortem viewing area, were so guttural and real. Glenda's pathetic whimpering, telling Jack they "need to sort the funeral"...you nearly felt sorry for Glenda, as if, after Ronnie and Roxy were gone, it had dawned on her just how badly she'd failed them as a mother and that there was nothing to be done to make amends.
  24. *Cries* you mean to say that Melissa never had a legitimate business and that she only used it for storyline purposes and will have to make up a new venture?!
  25. BH... Eileen made an ass of herself with Doritos who faked stupidity really, really well. So well you'd almost believe she's that dumb. I don't believe Eileen used the deaths of her family members as an excuse at all for what happened with LVP. I think Eileen didn't like being called a home wrecker when that's exactly what she is and didn't like being told to close her legs to married men. Lips seemed to misunderstand PK - he wasn't criticizing her. He was saying it made absolute sense that she would change her perspective on conflict after her father died. Lips seemed to miss that point. Otherwise, I loved how she didn't understand Elliot Mintz at all - that was funny. I still dislike Doritos - she's likely renting that house and her crummy relations with Erika annoy me. Erika did nothing to her - I don't understand why she wants to stir things up. Great seeing Camille and in case anyone is wondering - she has two houses in Malibu. The one we saw in this episode which cost her $2.3 million and one right on the beach which cost her $6 million. She is living a great life. Good for her! LVP and Kyle didn't have much to do this episode. It keeps them above the fray and I enjoy a good scene at the dermatologists office more than most - I am curious what LVP was having done to her neck. Erika and her Creative Director, Mickey, seem to have a very solid friendship when they are their private selves. Eden could be a total hot mess - time will tell about her.
