Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Love Lauren's tagline. She is never afraid to be self deprecating. 9 housewives is ridiculous.

+1 to all of this. I cannot stand Meghan - she deserves everything that comes her way - and then some. What a bitch.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
NYC has been the best housewives franchise, for sheer enjoyment, for several seasons now. They should bring back everyone from this season and ponder the return of Jill to destabilize Bethenny.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
NYC What a great season. It was FUN. Let's have more of that, Bravo, and less of the disgusting putrid mess that is OC. The third part of the reunion was crap with Bethenny whining and screaming and talking over everyone and trying to bitch out Ramona, yet again...but that Mexico segment ended on a high note.

Tamra was diagnosed with melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer. Fortunately, it's been caught in the early stages, and she's drawing attention to it to "save your ass"...for everyone remember the ABCD's of melanoma: Asymmetry, irregular Borders, multiple or change in Colour and Diameter over 6mm. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-4829036/Real-Housewife-Tamra-Judge-announces-skin-cancer.html The Luann interview:

The Lauritas have had this coming for a long time it seems. Interesting that it's a similar scenario to Teresa and Joe. Does anyone in Jersey have real, legitimate, money?

B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
The bottom line is these finds are amazing, thank you @DRW50 for posting them. Darlene Conley was luminous as Sally. She held your gaze. Those scenes with Macy were excellent. Bill Bell's biography states that when he hired her he said that bringing Darlene to the show would make it great. He was right. She elevated the show. He wrote so many facets to Sally: hustler, mother, lover, hater, gambler, winner, loser...Sally was a 1940s movie throwback, a tart with a heart, and Darlene was the only actress who could have played her. Lauren Koslow is so good as Margo - trapped in that marriage to Bill, full of darkness. Margo was always written as a character with a sense of foreboding who could only be saved by her beloved Eric, who she was ever so loyal to. And talk about beautiful - she has aged incredibly on DAYS. She had excellent chemistry with Jim Storm and Dan McVicar (and of course John McCook)...you can see the seedlings of her interpretation of DAYS' Kate with a few lines of dialog when Margo gets exasperated with Clarke. If/when the time comes for DAYS, it's time for Margo to return to B&B. B&B used to have solid A, B and C storylines and my god it made a difference. It is interesting to see the juxtaposition of settings: Beverly Hills for the Forresters, Century City for the Spencers, and downtown LA for the Spectras. Those physical distinctions mean something if you've been to LA - they highlight a difference. All of that subtlety is gone.

I agree that Andy adores Shannon - but if he falls for his own feelings he will kill the franchise because Shannon is not as beloved as he might like to think.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I totally agree about Bethenny. She drained the life out of this episode. And I don't doubt that she's suffered and I don't doubt that she was sincere when she thanked the ladies for not talking about the "things in the shadows"...that's the most vulnerable she's been in a long time. Ramona definitely voted for Trump, Sonja probably voted for Trump and Luann might have voted for Trump. Of the three of them, Luann is the least likely to have voted for Trump and given that she's as private as she is I can see her keeping her vote to herself, regardless of who she voted for. Sonja being a friend of Ivana I LOVE...Ivana doing a cameo in the show would be amazing. We know Ramona voted for Trump. Whatever. At least they voted. The bigger offence is Tinsley for not voting at all - that's a failure in democracy! She is such a child.

I tend to agree. Shannon is the one who will never make up with Vicki, despite her reason for hating Vicki being the hollowest. Shannon can't carry RHOC like Vicki (or even Tamra) can, so if she can't play ball with Vicki then I don't see how she can stay. If Vicki left it would be one of the four horseman of the apocalypse for the Housewives franchises.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'd much rather watch Vicki than Tamra. Vicki's family scenes still entertain me, even after the whole mess with Brooks. I can't say the same for Tamra. Her storyline with her absent daughter and Ryan's white trash conflicts are a major downer that I don't care about. Shannon is still in this joke of a marriage where she openly makes passive aggressive comments to David while he openly appears to mock her. Shannon is mad that Vicki told the truth about an issue that is of public record. Shannon is someone who never should have been on reality television and she cannot carry this franchise on her own. Ultimately, Bravo has a hard choice to make. Either start over or fire Shannon and Tamra. Much as people claim to (and actually) hate Vicki she remains compelling to watch, can still be fun and is the last original left. At the same time, she handled Brooks atrociously. Some of the audience will never forgive that. I don't have such an issue with it because I think Brooks scammed her and she was way too over her head and embarrassed and humiliated and none of the women were there for her so she became complicit. Regardless, this is definitely someone's last season. The question is who?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Whaaaaat?! LVP should have really made that more well known because it explains a lot about Brandi's resentment of LVP. Brandi wanted to ride LVP's coat tails. Can you imagine the nightmare that would have been? LVP was smart on that decision.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I am loving Dallas this season. Stephanie v. Brandi works on several levels. Superficially, it's probably a stupid fight that they're both too immature to deal with - all that (literal) sh*t talk from last season was never going to be the foundation of mature communication. On a deeper level, they're both very flawed. I do prefer Stephanie to Brandi because Stephanie is obviously smarter and more cunning, and she reminds me of a young Morgan Fairchild. Brandi is like one of those 80s prime time soap starlets who lasted a season and were forgotten (like Dynasty's Karen Cellini) with too much makeup. D'Andra is likeable and smart. She's also burdened by that Blanche Dubois/Tammy Faye Bakker wannabe mother of hers who is both a trip and total nightmare. She shaded D'Andra something fierce with that "we'll pick up this conversation when YOU'VE got time..." Kameron is irrelevant to me. Her husband and children are more interesting. She should get over the pink obsession. The only housewife who makes pink chic is LVP and the rest of them should just give up. I do enjoy Cary because she is who she is. She's a surgical nurse who married the boss and made him over. Mark amuses me too because he does his fashion stuff and his plastic surgery and has a great life and seems to be laughing all the way to the bank. Leanne is absolutely insane. In a great TV way. If you do a little research on Leanne she's appeared in a number of reality shows and has dabbled in acting. She knows what she's doing. And she's doing it very well. She's compelling to watch. She can deliver her monologues while dressed as a hot dog with a ferocity that would make Nene or Brandi or Rinna shake in their knockoff Blahniks.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm loving the return of Camille IF she's there to make either Kyle or Rinna's life a living hell. If she's there to tangle with LVP, then sit down, Camille. But I did enjoy season 2 Camille when she confronted Taylor so memorably with the "We didn't want to say it, BUT NOW WE'VE SAID IT!" John Mellencamp's daughter is only 36, so I'm lukewarm about her. She could be another One And Done. We do not need another Eden Sasloon. I agree in that I enjoy NYC the most out of the American franchises because it is the least toxic, by far, and I don't hate any of the housewives. Though I still think Tinsley is a dud. She was non-existent this episode of the reunion. Ramona has clearly struggled to mourn her divorce. Which is tragic. She loved being married to Mario. She loved her family. And he destroyed it. It's going to take her a long time to get past it. I enjoyed the segment on Dorinda being gangsta. She should not be crossed, she is fabulous and fierce. Jill Zarin is dead to Bethenny. She'll never be back. Bethenny's ire has seen to that. I would LOVE if Sonja would move into that three bedroom apartment. Do it Sonja, get rid of that damn townhouse! I felt sad for Luann. She clearly knew something was going on during the filming of the reunion and Tom was clearly on thin ice, if not worse. Luann did not want to admit it was over at the reunion. I don't think she could bear that. The most telling thing was when she mentioned her son, Noel, being protective of her. Luann is obviously close to her children, so it was never going to end well for Tom thanks to Luann's kids. Luann said she'd leave him, and so many of them didn't believe her, yet what did she damn well do but leave his ass! Good for Lu!

Stumbled across this clip from Season 9. Beyond adorable. Joan Collins and Michael Nader had chemistry off the charts and a certain sweetness, charm, and romance that few others had.

Restaurants are well known to be one of the hardest businesses to make successful. You'd think Shannon would be more interested in owning a home, as opposed to renting, rather than a restaurant. In NYC news: Entertainment Tonight confirms Carole and Adam have broken up.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Much as there was a lack of defined storylines (aside from Luann) I really enjoyed this season of NYC - it was light and fun and had some decent dramatic moments based on actual conflict between the women, not dreamt up shade. It's clear that Bethenny is not letting this show actually know what's going on in her life. She is giving a sanitized version of things and doing damage control after last season. In some respects I think she succeeded. Luann and Dorinda were the MVPs this season. I can't imagine the show without them. Dorinda just adds some kind of credibility to this franchise and she throws down with the best of them. I also agree that this was Carole's best season in a long time - not trashing Luann did wonders for her. Sonja had a mixed season when it comes to Tinsley. I think Tinsley is annoying, immature and a storyline dud, so I can appreciate Sonja's disdain for her. At the same time, Sonja came off bitter and jealous and that's not a good look for her. But Sonja can be very amusing and great comic relief. I really think a gripping storyline for Sonja would be about ridding herself of that townhouse, selling it and buying a new cute apartment. And going to therapy and generally cleaning up her life. I feel there is such potential with Sonja but she needs an Iyanla Fix My Life style intervention. Ramona is the one who had the least going on. She won't show her dating life on TV, it doesn't seem like she works anymore, so all she had was a chemical peel and several breakdowns while putting her foot in her mouth. I'm not saying she shouldn't return, but she needs to get a life. Next season I need to see all the fallout from Luann's divorce - but what I really need to see is Luann get her groove back.

The college comment by Tamra shows that she's never changed: that's a classless and aggressive comment to make about your own child. It again tries to cast her in the victim role as someone being used by their child to pay expensive bills. Nope, not buying it.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Bailing after 7 months, on the one hand, leaves Luann looking foolish. On the other hand, it's ballsy to just admit you've made a mistake and cut your losses. Luann went for it and went all in with Tom. She took a chance. Not everyone can say they did that. She lives with courage. So Luann has cut her losses and will move on. She'll be fine, she'll drink a bunch, fall gracefully into a few more bushes and be cool, not so uncool.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
OC A good episode, but also wholly forgettable. The best part of the episode was the preview for next week as Peggy seals Meghan's lips shut. NYC Iconic, as has already been explained perfectly. This crew, sans Tinsley, is gold. Even boring Carole was great this episode thanks to the crafty fish plan. Drunk Dorinda is hilarious - almost as great as Drunk Luann. Bethenny didn't do herself any favours with that confrontation with Dorinda who has literally done nothing negative towards her and was simply explaining how Bethenny needs to stop thinking she has to be perfect. Sober Luann can be amazing too like when she zinged Ramona with the "until you screw it up again" line. The Ramona/Bethenny pool scene was interesting because it did seem like they were both genuine in the moment. Ramona's divorce really seemed to pull the rug out from under who she thought she was and I don't think she's over it. Thing is, Ramona looks amazing and has a lot going for her, she needs to find a nice man. I actually felt sorry for her this episode because I think she's struggled a lot behind the scenes. Sonja was genuinely smashed and so harmless. She got naked and tried to make out with a few housewives - big deal. Tinsley went to boarding school, I'm sure she's seen and done worse. Sonja adds a certain levity that no other housewife manages. Next week's finale looks solid - it's been a very good season. I hope they dump Tinsley and bring back the cast as a whole - it's been fun and not a chore to watch at all (unlike some other franchises..).

Brandi Granville and Joanna Krupa have settled their lawsuit. The terms remain confidential but Brandi made a public apology: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4751486/Brandi-Glanville-settles-lawsuit-Joanna-Krupa.html I would be surprised if Joanna settled without getting, at a minimum, her legal costs covered but it's unlikely we'll ever find out.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
You left out Stacey...which says it all about her worth, doesn't it? If Dawn is back that leaves room for explosive drama with Leanne. That said, Ampika drove so much story for the show and it was a better show because she was a part of it. She'd be taking a lot of the glamour and fierceness of Cheshire with her. I love Lauren but without Ampika what will she be doing? Ester was a total dud and a pig so I don't foresee myself to watching the show on a committed basis.
