  1. +1 - It's my favourite thread on the board - thanks Cheap!
  2. NJ Another enjoyable episode watching Siggy lose her mind. I cannot imagine she's happy with how she's coming across in these episodes, she appears insane. Danielle stirs that pot beautifully. Still really enjoy Margaret.
  3. LeeAnne is easily best dressed in that reunion.
  4. There's Ashley Abbott...I mean...D'Andra, proud of her new Jabot launch. I must say, the name of her brand: Hard Night, Good Morning, is brilliant.
  5. +1 on both counts. D'Andra and Miss Dee at Jabot was an awesome storyline for this season and I really want to see more of it next season (please Bravo, another season please?). LeeAnne won me over too. She is harmless and can laugh at herself non-stop. Once she wore that hot dog costume I was sold. And YES TO MELBOURNE! That commercial is excellent. Bring it on, it has been missed.
  6. I agree with @Cat that it looks like Wendy might have had a TIA (mini-stroke) live on air. That is frightening because a TIA is the drumroll before a major stroke. I like Wendy, I root for her, and I think it wouldn't hurt for everyone to say a prayer for her and her health.
  7. OC Meghan remains one of the dumbest and most insensitive people I have seen on television. What a piece of garbage she is. We all know Jimmy couldn’t be bothered to deal with her pregnancy, but damn, she is hateful to a person in need. Even Shannloon, who detests Vicki, had some concern in her voice and went into Vicki’s room to offer some small amount of comfort. Even Tamra looked legitimately concerned. Kelly disappointed me but she was also one of the few to understand that you need to get out of the doctors way and not make it about you. Peggy was concerned but it wasn’t about Vicki, it was about her own issues - and that’s fine, she’s been through a lot. It was interesting to see Shannon seething with rage and jealousy when Tamra and Vicki were talking and crying. Tamra is right (!) that she needs to move on with Vicki. DALLAS What a fabulous season. Perfect arc and length of a season. This is how the franchise should be done. It was interesting to see LeeAnne and her mother in therapy. It’s clear why LeeAnne is messed up. She comes by it honestly and I think sincerely knows there is something wrong. The brunch went as expected. It was interesting to see Kameron back up LeeAnne - for no real reason - especially as the editors used footage to demonstrate the truth. Cary is a gold digger but I enjoy her. Brandi is tacky but classic Texas in that regard. Stephanie I still like - I think she has a dark sense of humour that I enjoy and her marriage seems improved over last season. By far the best moment was D’Andra and Miss Dee Simmons and the handover of Jabot...er...I mean...Ultimate Living and the missing L22 ingredient. The handover was classic soap. D’Andra on the verge of tears, her mother doling our classic advice about learning from mistakes and then admitting that she is 77 and exhausted. When Miss Dee theatrically proclaimed “You are going to do more with this company than Dee Simmons ever could!” I got chills - all that was missing was some Y&R classic orchestral music. THAT is how you do it.
  8. I have to agree - I don’t think he likes women. This opinion has been developing for a while now, seeing how he treats some of the wives with contempt (ie the strong ones like LVP who won’t get pushed around)...Andy is on a career slide of his own, and has been for a while now, his meanness is going to get the better of him, he just doesn’t seem to know it yet. Kathy’s career will never be the same again, but it’s been in decline for years. I just wish Joan Rivers was around to counsel her. I would respectfully disagree @DRW50 that Kathy has been anything but a staunch defender of the LGBTQIA community - I don’t think she means any harm with the “my gays” comment, nor do I think she considers her gay friends accessories. She does a lot of quiet charity work for the community and has done so for 20+ years.
  9. Really enjoyed the episode. Sean Hayes' material is the strongest, by far, and his comic timing is so enjoyable to watch.
  10. It's Housewives adjacent, but Kathy Griffin has claimed Andy Cohen offered her cocaine both times she appeared on WWHL. Andy has denied it... http://deadline.com/2017/10/kathy-griffin-harvey-levin-andy-cohen-bravo-tmz-donald-trump-women-1202196777/
  11. Shannon’s statement to People Magazine states that she blamed people outside of her marriage when she shouldn’t have - I’m currently on my phone and can’t be bothered to copy/paste it but it’s worth reading. It’s a good basis for moving forward. If Shannon’s smart, or at least into self preservation, she’ll make amends with Vicki to at least some extent. Vicki has nothing to do with Shannon’s marriage imploding. Vicki isn’t going anywhere.
  12. About time, Shannon. And welcome to next season. Sigh.
  13. The 15 second opening is embarrassing. The oil font superimposed over the photographs of the cast actually looks more outdated than the original. Where is the announcement that it's gotten a second season? The ratings keep declining.
  14. Lorenzo was miscast in the role of a fire fighter stuck with a boring daughter and Sydney Penny - if they'd cast him as a burned out male model, past his prime and working as a gigolo, needing to score either a new big money gig or a sugar mama, he would have soared.
  15. FINALLY. Truth comes out. Shannon should be ashamed of herself that she's lied over, and over, and over again about Vicki's statement about David. Trying to blame Vicki for ballooning. That bitch. OC Thank goodness for Iceland because this season has sucked. It was very interesting to see Vicki look out for Lydia like she did - quietly, subtly - this is why I still like Vicki, despite it all. I'm also glad the editors turned on Shannon with that comment about her being childish. She is insufferable. The only thing I can say for Meghan is at least she looked glamorous in that fur hat. Otherwise, she remains painfully irrelevant and needs to go. Vicki was exhibiting all the female symptoms of a heart attack: hot, exhausted, pain, pale and puking. I hope it isn't that, but good for Kelly and Peggy for calling the ambulance. DALLAS Glorious. This season has been so enjoyable I do hope we get a season 3 with this existing cast. It's the perfect number of episodes: 12 plus reunion - so refreshing! Kameron's ridiculous dog food launch was the perfect backdrop for what unfolded. Her detente with Brandi will not last: we know it and so do they. I was touched by the scene with Stephanie and Travis and Cruz. Takes a big man to admit he was basically an outcast as a child. Travis has shown some different sides to himself, much to his credit. D'Andra in the lab was so Ashley Abbott at Jabot in 1999 - I loved every second of it. LeeAnne continues to be enjoyable. She is just wild enough, with a sense of self awareness that makes me laugh. Her confrontation with Mark was so calm and mature and it seems they both find Cary frustrating. Cary basically must return given that her image has been imploded.
  16. Can anyone let me know the status of Rita's storyline - I haven't watched in ages and wonder if she's going to make it...
  17. CBS owns Dynasty, and owns a stake in the CW, so it's likely profitable regardless of how dismal the ratings are. But from it's 1980s glory, there's no worries for the legacy of the original.
  18. Fashion Police hasn't been itself since Joan died. The show should have ended after they aired the tribute episode to Joan (which was one of the funniest and most lovingly produced hours of television I have ever seen). Much as I like Brad, he wasn't George Kotsiopoulos, and Melissa wasn't Joan, and Nene and Margaret Cho weren't Kelly and without the original group it made no sense for Giuliana to be there. Ultimately, losing this gig is the last tiny bit of independence Nene had from the RH franchise - she better play nice or she's going to be lose big time. Lu is fabulous and word on the street is all the NYC ladies are being brought back. Lu will be A-OK in the long run.
  19. Wendy is looking exhausted on the show - these Big Kev cheats stories seem to be taking a major toll.
  20. Lu was on Wendy Williams today, she's bouncing back for sure:
  21. Fashion Police has been cancelled by E! Nene is out of another job.
  22. I agree that Shannon needs to go. She has drained this show of its energy, sense of fun and is toxic to the franchise. She has made this season incredibly boring and has prevented any momentum.
  23. Absolutely agree - I loved tonight's Dallas. This episode should earn the show a third season - it is so superior to OC and NJ this season it isn't even funny how boring those two old bag franchises are in comparison to youthful Dallas. LeeAnne is a live wire and I've been waiting for that glass to get thrown all season long and as her diamante belt went flying off her jumpsuit it felt worth the wait. I agree that Kameron had the line of the night with that comment about the plastic glasses. I laughed. Hard. And yes, the reveal about Cary being the nanny, then the nurse, then the wife, was a thing to behold. I wonder if she'll return for a third season if they land one. That's a pretty heavy revelation.
  24. I don't like Erika - I'll hope Rinna's turned her sights onto her. Earn that paycheque, Rinna.
  25. I ask the same question - I view Elizabeth Hurley as a successor to Joan's kind of celebrity and I'd accept her playing Alexis, at least to a certain extent, for a few reasons: 1. She is friends with Joan; 2. She is English; 3. She's demonstrated her capacity to play Alexis with her work on The Royals. That said, I do not think Hurley would want to play Alexis. She is savvy enough to know it's an impossible role to play and that it's Joan's iconic work. The criticism of Joan during the 1980s was that she was Alexis. It is that same criticism which makes Alexis impossible to be successfully recreated by another actress because no other actress is Joan. If it ends up being Melinda Clarke, who played Julie Cooper-Nichol on The O.C., playing Alexis, then I would say that the Dynasty producers made the best choice they could while trying to allow another actress to put their own stamp on the character. Melinda is a good actress and she's worked with Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage in the past, so it's possibility.
