  1. I LOVED this episode of BH - LVP assassinated Dorit with sniper precision. Kiss the ring, Dorit, The Queen has spoken.
  2. She'd be great casting as Princess Margaret in Feud: Charles v Diana. Really, the Ryan Murphy anthology series are a good venue for Joan. Either way, she is a fabulous schmoozer. No opportunity at the VF Oscar party goes to waste on her watch.
  3. Indeed, the word on the street on Instagram is that they are filming. I can't imagine why else they'd all be together at a number of events, particularly a housewarming and an anniversary.
  4. Apparently they were also filming at Stephanie’s housewarming party and Brandi was there.
  5. Nope. Luann was nothing but nice to Tinsley and didn't make any negative comments about her history with the law last season. Luann looks amazing in that red dress. She's lost that alcohol bloat.
  6. Now viewable for everyone. What an epic trailer. I cannot wait.
  7. The NYC trailer is out for those in the USA: Series is back April 9!
  8. Kyle is the worst. She brought Frankel, her attack dog, to try and go after LVP but LVP kept smiling and laughing and there wasn’t a thing Kyle could do about that. Simply put, LVP didn’t take the bait. Kyle just whines and whines and whines. What a loser. “I wouldn’t have missed tonight. I had a jacket to pick up.” - LVP *snap* Erika was looking a lot like Morgan Fairchild with that chignon hair style. It really aged her. Enjoyed seeing Camille and her daughter. I loved LVP telling Dorit that she only grew to love her because of her longstanding relationship with PK. Dorit is hideous with her lies. She goes from trashing LVP to trashing Kyle in the blink of an eye. As fake as her boob job. Her kids are cute though. Rinna didn’t have much to add this episode but I do enjoy her a lot more this season than last. But supporting Kyle’s stupidity doesn’t reflect well on her. Harry Hamlin is the unsung hero of Rinna’s scenes - I can’t imagine him sitting in his dorm room crying, poor guy! They do have a sweet marriage. I’ve been liking Teddi more and more since the episodes at her beach house. LVP giving vile Kyle an apology took the wind out of Kyle’s sails - she can’t use it against her anymore.
  9. Heather is so tragic. It appears that she's an alcoholic with mental health issues and codependency who doesn't think twice about mixing prescription pills and booze. Ageing is hard. Ageing in Hollywood when you're Heather Locklear and you used to be known as one of the most beautiful women in the world - it would be excruciating when you're as insecure as she appears to be. She's back dating some guy she knew in high school after Tommy Lee, Richie Sambora, David Spade, Jack Wagner, a plastic surgeon and who else knows...she can't hack it alone and she really, really, needs to learn to. Her spells in rehab haven't stuck, she's been in this same cycle for a solid 10 years. It seems to me that work kept Heather on the straight and narrow. She was Aaron Spelling's 'lucky penny' but now that penny has tarnished and Aaron isn't here anymore to save her with work. If he was alive, you can bet your last dollar she would be working for him.
  10. B&B was never as serious as Y&R. Y&R has drama while B&B had melodrama, but damn, when it had it, it was great. Stephanie vs Margo was an element we'd not seen in a Bell soap before. Margo wasn't quite a rival for Stephanie over Eric, but she took a shot at her every time she possibly could. Margo was a long suffering anti-heroine. Losing Darlene Conley was a bigger blow than I think anyone realized. Darlene's last year or two on the show weren't particularly memorable as she'd experienced some ill health and took time off, so there may have been a feeling that they'd transitioned out of the need for the Spectras and into the Marones (how wrong they were, Lesley Anne Down had nothing on Darlene). To me, Sally Spectra was what made B&B unique. No other character like her and she was a universe unto herself on the show. Losing Susan Flannery to retirement was always going to hurt the show, but I think it hurt it less than Darlene because there were other ways to source conflict on the show aside from Stephanie Forrester. While Stephanie could not be replaced, the 'space' Stephanie occupied could at least she filled by other characters. However, from an acting/talent perspective, losing Flannery really undermined B&B's credibility.
  11. Well the thing is Porsha is not that bright, so she's fearless.
  12. ATL I enjoyed this episode. My takeaway from the episode is that Marlo, bless her, is unhinged and unwell. Her quickness to anger, and her apparent inability to shake that anger off, becoming totally fixated on her rage, does not demonstrate a healthy outlook. Nene was the most likeable she's been all season and her conversation with Porsha was mature and flattering to Nene's maturation. I'm glad they acknowledged how awful that villa was - it was like Bravo was punking them.
  13. Such a treat to see Katherine and Jill in the Kay Alden era. Kay was still pathetic and Jill was still fierce. Jess whipping her mane around like a lioness and prancing about the Chancellor mansion in those peplum suits. The show really messed up with the poor recasts for Mackenzie that followed Ashley Bashioum - Mackenzie was the key to keeping the Katherine/Jill feud going via Billy. Once they turned the corner in 2003 there was no real chance of recovery. Such a shame.
  14. I'm Canadian - so Her Majesty the Queen is my Queen.
  15. Did anyone else dive into Season 2 like I did? What a show and what a glorious Queen.
  16. BH What was that? Kyle is acting like a dejected 15 year old whose jock boyfriend just dumped her for her nerdier friend. Whining and moaning and shrieking and crying? Big Kathy screwed her up something good. She's just so needy and vampire like. And she turns on LVP on a dime. LVP was probably the most 'emotional' we've seen her in this show aside from when she was talking about Max's adoption. She actually lost it a tiny bit with Teddy and showed her vulnerable side. She tried to make Kyle feel safe and secure and OK but Kyle was not having any of it because then she would have to give up the narrative that LVP is the villain. Dorit is, of course, an awful person. I am going to luxuriate in LVP's statement that she only really likes Dorit because of her great affection for PK. Those Brits stick together and I love it, even if PK is a rogue. I enjoyed drunk Rinna and Camille seeing Marc Bower. That was brilliant.
  17. Luann and Sonja both left early and are currently in the Hamptons. Luann had to leave early because of court. They would be INSANE to not have Lu as a main housewife. She is the #1 draw for me with this upcoming season.
  18. I had to look up her episode of The Middle and you're right, she was warm and charming in the episode. She should do more comedy, she is adept at it. Rinna has pulled back from crusading this season and has shown her life: her kids, her QVC business, her hustle to act, and it really improves her image. She's still there to stir things up, but she's keeping herself out of the fray to an extent.
  19. It's the finest medical drama ever made. Nothing has touched it, before or since. My favourite scene: one of the doctors, I think it was Susan Lewis, is looking at the board and it's clear. The ward is relaxed. Finally. They have a little small talk among the doctors and nurses and then there is a call about a major emergency coming in. Lewis looks at the board and says "Oh, sh*t." Cuts to the theme. Everyone in medicine has lived that scene.
  20. I think it is the first housewives trip in South America. That Dorinda gif remains *everything* and I’m going through withdrawals too.
  21. Yessssss. NYC has had so many organic events that are major for the core wives, they'd better not screw up this season. I cannot wait for it.
  22. I could accept Jill as a Friend of the Housewives like Camille is this season - but she is too fundamentally an attention whore drama queen at her core to be a Housewife who plays well with others. This last season of NYC was one of my favourites and I do not want that chemistry destroyed.
  23. +1 to you both about LVP and Kyle. LVP has seen the real Kyle all the way back in Season 1 when she exposed Kim's alcoholism in the back of that limousine. Once LVP made the comment about Mauricio getting the listing on her Beverly Park home I knew that her friendship with Kyle would never be the same. The drawbridges went wisely up for LVP when it comes to Kyle. MELBOURNE Another fun episode! Venus is a drama queen and her obsession with her looks is pretty damn obvious. Gamble putting her foot in her mouth is jaw dropping and amusing. Janet vs. Gina is epic because Gina cannot talk over Janet, who stared Gina down and didn't blink once. Janet is the prototypical Australian sheila - she is not going to be intimidated by Gina. This hasn't been a great season for Gina or Lydia, who have openly admitted to speculating about why Janet and her boyfriend temporarily broke up - not the actions of good friends. Jackie and Sally didn't have as much to do this episode but both add value to the franchise. This franchise is still so fresh and fun.
  24. Katie’s accident was straight out of Another World - Felicia fell through a skylight (and Linda Dani got a facelift)... Stassi is a lot of things but racist isn’t one of them. LVP was furious at Jax - and rightly so. I don’t think we’ve ever seen LVP like that.
