  1. They went on a trip to Montreal? I lived there for a year but what the housewives will do there is anyone's guess...it's a bit...beyond them. The only one who would have even appreciated it is LVP...lord. Watching another season of her getting attacked is ridiculous...who does Bravo think wants to see that? Kyle and Teddi are disgusting if this is true. We already knew Kyle was a disloyal pig, but Teddi? After everything LVP did to defend her against Erotica Lame? Pump Rules is an infinitely better show. BH is truly a sinking ship that should see cancellation.
  2. The Jersey trailer definitely has a sense of energy and conflict that's needed on that particular franchise. I just hope they don't have a long season...the show simply cannot sustain it. Last season was a very good length, maybe one episode too long...but so much better than the gargantuan seasons of the past. As an aside I was recently in Australia and managed to find some of the tea made by RH of Melbourne's Janet. Great packaging, excellent taste and sold in two of Australia's biggest retailers.
  3. I felt Julie's words for Sara and Sharon rang hollow. I think those friendships are dead and buried. Sharon is tough as nails and her mentioning that she had been asked to make a supportive statement in favour of Les would have infuriated Julie. Sharon pulls no punches and I note she was the only one smiling when Julie's video finished. She was smiling, in all likelihood, because that's the last she'd have to see of her. I find Carrie Ann to be as fake as a pair of silicone implants. Sheryl has been an emotional wreck all week. I listened to a podcast she and Sharon made with the rest of the Osbournes earlier this year and it was hilarious. Ghomeshi is a pariah if there ever was one. I like Mark. He has a very good reputation in the business, and his firing was so abrupt. He didn't even know he was being fired the last day he was taping.
  4. I'm with you. I don't care at all about Atlanta's return...whereas I cannot wait to see Potomac return. The reason for that is simple: Potomac (like NYC) retains a level of organic tension that relationships that the other franchises distinctly lack. BH, ATL and NJ are manufactured bile. OC sits in between those shows and NYC/Potomac which remain relatively organic. The key is to get these shows back to organic interactions and if that means following each individual woman, like the original seasons of OC, then all the better. The group photo of the ATL women looks awful. Nene has a stylist who hates her. In regard to Marlo: the difference with her is that she was convicted of a very violent crime. Not all crimes are equal and what Marlo was convicted of is truly heinous.
  5. It was painfully awkward and Carole just seemed awful as a result. Bethenny won the reunion because she kept calm. I was so glad to see Sonja pulling herself together and moving out of that townhouse. It is an albatross and the moment she gets rid of it for good she will be free. I would have liked to see those scenes air in the actual show because it's Sonja's real life and I found her totally enjoyable this season from beginning to end. Dorinda getting weepy when Bethenny said she doesn't think she's a drunk...lord. Dorinda...not a good season for her. She better get working on repairing her relationship with Lu.
  6. I think you’d enjoy Heather’s podcast a lot. It’s really well produced and lots of fun. Heather is very funny about her housewives friends and how she shows up in the background of scenes. I can say unequivocally that Heather’s line about being a housewife is not thirst: it’s a running joke.
  7. Do folks dislike Heather McDonald? I love Heather - the Juicy Scoop podcast is a delight. TT seems to have an axe to grind against her so I don’t take much of what she says seriously. I really enjoyed the podcast with Wig.
  8. No wonder she hates Monique. While she was busy tolerating a bad marriage with consistent infidelity, Monique was with Chris who treats her like a queen.
  9. It was so satisfying to watch Carole call out Andy and I say that as someone whose never enjoyed Carole. She knew she was leaving, she knew she was burning bridges, and she didn't care. When she said "You're afraid of her too?" Andy looked so furious at what he undoubtedly perceived to be Carole attempting to humiliate him, which she did. I still think Bethenny and Carole are both to blame in their relationship falling apart. And I still dislike Carole. When she rolled her eyes at Andy saying Lu's cabaret success I muttered good riddance. Carole is bitter, bitter, bitter. OC this week was a laying the groundwork kind of episode. Tamra has dropped her Christian Pasture after realizing that the show was probably getting stale. Her inorganic ways to attack Shannon were clunky but got the drama rolling. I really like Kelly and her scenes with Jolie. Jolie is wise beyond her years and seems good natured. The soup kitchen scenes were nice because they both seemed to enjoy themselves and made an effort to fit in - not like when the BH housewives slugged their way through an appearance at Project Angel Food.
  10. I enjoy the history of Vicki and her children. We've witnessed them for over a decade (12 years, we're all practically family). Michael has always endured his mother's cringe moments with a much better sense of humour than Brianna. I get the sense that while Vicki humiliates herself and Michael on the regular, he respects her in a way that Brianna does not. Brianna has always had a resentful/smug attitude towards Vicki that peaks out, while Michael seems to just shrug at her absurdity with good naturedness. This is a great comeback season for Shannon. She's dumped about 185 lbs of as$hole and probably 15 lbs of fat. An unrepresented litigant is really the worst. There is no reasoning with them and, as usual, Shannon cleaned up in court with that interim spousal support. I'm sure David hired a lawyer after that point. She was positively shaking after that court hearing - it's her ability to admit that her nerves were shot that makes Shannon endearing. Kelly's date was a bit dense but it seemed like light hearted fun for her. At least they made each other laugh. Tamra, Emily and Gina - whatever, this episode at least. Emily and Gina stick out like sore thumbs they're so wedged in.
  11. Team Huger all day, everyday. Karen and Ray are a team and they brought the broom and the dustpan and swept up Ashley and Michael succinctly. Michael Darby sure shut up quick when Ray and Karen mentioned his business problems and Ashley had nothing to say when Ray explained the Blue Eyes situation without breaking a sweat. Michael might shake his head at them renting a house, but his refusal to listen to Karen was rooted in that he knew there was an explanation. Karen's parents lived in Virginia and their benefits were vested in the State of Virginia. Karen had planned for her parents to move in with her and Ray, so in order to maintain their benefits, they rented that house. At the same time, they needed the cash from their Potomac house and you don't buy a new house when you've got to work out cash flow issues. For such a "successful businessman" Michael sure didn't see the common sense in their circumstances. Michael waving his American passport around proves nothing. Does he think the audience doesn't know about dual citizenship and that he could have travelled on an Australian passport? The only woman on the Green Eyed Bitch Couch who came out of this reunion looking better was Robyn. Sure, she's dumb, but she seemed fairer about Karen's situation and Karen said so herself. Gizelle and Andy are just too gross and nasty for words. Andy needs to go from these reunions. He is too personally entrenched and biased. I agree with @NothinButAttitude I just don't believe Ashley had a miscarriage. She's lied plenty on this show and this one seemed a bit obvious. This was a great Season 3, bring on Season 4!
  12. NYC Updates... Luann was on Megan Kelly Today (hurl) and discussed rehab, her kids suing her (interesting, not quite what I figured it was) and turning things around: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/video/i-have-new-life-luann-de-lesseps-opens-up-relapse-rehab-megyn-kelly-today-1134739 The NY Post's Page Six reports that Luann was dumped right before she went into rehab: https://pagesix.com/2018/08/14/luann-de-lesseps-was-dumped-right-before-her-rehab-stint/ Finally, Ramona was spotted making out with a 30 something in the Hamptons: https://pagesix.com/2018/08/14/ramona-singer-spotted-sloppy-kissing-a-young-hottie/
  13. When the series ended (in what was one of my favourite series finales), Frasier had pursued Laura Linney's character to Chicago rather than taking a job in San Francisco, and I think Frasier teaching at a university would be a natural conclusion for his character. I think the only way to do another Frasier series is for the original supporting cast to not be in it because they belong to the old (perfect) series and I do not think you can come home again. Though I would love to see them in guest appearances. However, I absolutely agree that a Herculean supporting cast is required. Much as Frasier was a starring vehicle for Kelsey Grammer, it succeeded because it allowed the supporting cast to shine every single episode. Niles and Daphne's 'will they or won't they' storyline spanned years and was probably the most popular the show ever had. Personally, Peri Gilpin's Roz was my favourite. I love the original series so much, it plays so well in reruns as a timeless comedy, that I would be hesitant to see it revived...but like Murphy Brown, I would be excited to see it.
  14. Potomac Andy: I'm sorry about your dad. Karen: Me too. Me: Oh, Karen! Team Karen all day, everyday. I absolutely hate Ashley for the way she pursued Karen at the reunion. Even Gizelle and Robyn, who have few redeeming features, kept things reasonable with her (and in fact, I thought it was genuine of Gizelle to comfort Karen at the end of the episode). I want to see Karen and Ray unite and destroy Ashley and Michael - those two are just filthy trash. I am so glad Candy-Ass got in as many digs at Ashley as she did. The comment about Ashley sticking her forehead into everyone else's business was particularly well spiced. I agree about Andy - he is in too deep to be objective. Kevin Frazier or Wendy Williams would both do a much better job with the reunions. The women are too afraid of Andy and he's too engrossed in the drama to actually moderate.
  15. Apparently NYC is meant to start shooting in two weeks time despite Carol’s exit. That’s the #WordOnTheStreet (copyright that as$hole Gizelle)
  16. Dennis Sheilds, Bethenny’s on and off boyfriend, has been found dead in his Trump Tower condo of a suspected overdose. https://nypost.com/2018/08/10/bethenny-frankels-on-and-off-boyfriend-found-dead-in-trump-tower/
  17. Totally - plus Faye, as a decorator, could provide the peak into luxury that the rest of them, aside from LVP - can’t or don’t. BH is in big trouble - it’s been reheated leftovers for several seasons in a row - just like OC has been. OC is trying to turn things around but I am not yet convinced (though I greatly enjoyed the Mexico episode). NYC had its first filler episode last night - and it was superior to anything BH did the last few seasons. Clearly Ramona wanted some PR for her skincare line - I just wonder how her normal plastic surgeon, Dr. Sharon Geise, felt about her partnering with a different doctor. I don’t mind bitchy Lu - she was right about Ramona’s renovations - they had zero soul. Bethenny’s apartment is sterile and ready to sell, like all of her sleek former abodes - but she clearly views real estate as an investment. Carole - UGH, don’t let the door hit you on the way out. She is insufferable. However, a big no to Kenya’s contrived ass coming to NYC. She is as fake as Ramona’s eyelashes. Her low rentness is why I would cast her. She’d be like Taylor and Dana/Pam was. Hers is a story made for the RH franchise - the daughter of Aaron Spelling living in the Valley...it is tragicomic - it’s perfect for Bravo.
  18. In Beverly Hills news...Mauricio has been sued by a former client and the details of what Mauricio allegedly did are not good: https://theblast.com/kyle-richards-mauricio-umansky-malibu-mansion/
  19. Tonight's finale of Potomac demonstrated that without Karen this show would be lifeless. Not only are Robyn, Gizelle, and Ashley utterly obsessed with her, they are incredibly jealous of her and need to feed off of her in order to be relevant because they have nothing going on in their lives. The lame prank of the Three Idiots dropping off a pizza at Karen's house in the middle of the night made absolutely no sense. Ashley's logic, particularly, made no sense. If someone was randomly ringing my doorbell in the middle of the night I wouldn't be answering the door - I'd be calling the cops to say someone had scaled my gate. No surprise that Robyn's house flip remains a flop. Look whose in charge. Karen took down Ashley, and Ray took down Michael, beautifully at Candy-Ass's engagement party (also, wasn't it a bit preposterous that we had to endure an engagement party when all Candy-Ass has talked about is her damn wedding?). Ashley and Michael really don't know who they're trying to tangle with and the Hugers will decimate them systematically with stylish shade and effortless put downs. Karen let Ashley know exactly what she thinks of her opinion and she handled Michael like a pro. Michael's ridiculous (and rude) interjection while Ray was speaking to another party guest was amateurish and stupid.
  20. The way Karen enunciates "I don't give a f*ck what you say" gives me life. She says it with such conviction I am shaken at my core.
  21. Get ‘em, Karen! Get ‘em, Ray!
  22. Agreed. I think the hate of Vicki is overestimated. I think there are an awful lot of people (myself included) who really enjoy watching Vicki.
  23. Tonight's OC episode was really fun thanks to Shannon, Vicki and Tamra. They were hilarious and did seem to like each other. Kelly had better watch out because she's an island unto herself. The other two feel like their scenes are edited in. They're irrelevant. Yesterday's Potomac was filler, but it was still enjoyable. It has been a great season. I want to see Karen gather and destroy all of these bitches. They aren't her friends - they are fiercely jealous of her.
