  1. Candy-ass is low class but the bubble soccer event did give us the amazing moment when Karen had to shift her wig. God I love Karen. She is so funny. Gizelle remains a hateful bitch with an ugly heart. Robyn remains an absolute idiot - paying someone to decorate that townhouse? Fool. Still can’t hold onto a dollar. Ashley’s mother is toxic to her relationship and when it’s Michael’s money paying the bills he has every right to say it’s time to cut her off. The woman is an immature leach. Charisse remains a pig. I love Potomac.
  2. I watched it and I must say I see exactly why the DA dropped the charges about her uttering threats. There was nothing about the “I’ll kill you” that would satisfy the criminal standard of a threat. Luann said “I’ve done nothing wrong my love” a dozen times, wasn’t really aggressive given that she was arrested and was clearly drunk. This whole thing seems ridiculous.
  3. That's how I feel. Kim got what was coming to her, but all of the women on Atlanta, with the exception of Cynthia, aren't women I can root for. Cynthia is a decent person who isn't full of herself, which the rest of them cannot claim. I don't find her boring - I find her balanced!
  4. Agree with you completely, but the bolded sections in particular. What Sonja needs is a lighter touch with a wake up call, and that's where I think Luann comes in. 5 or 6 seasons, when Sonja took down the portrait of herself and her husband from her dining room, it was Luann who was there and sat with her quietly looking at the empty space on the wall. I have long thought Luann is the only one who can reach Sonja gently enough: Ramona is too abrasive, Dorinda is too volcanic, Carole is too judgmental, Tinsley is too dumb, and Bethenny is too ambitious.
  5. NYC It's great and we're only on the third episode. This franchise has an organic quality that is severely lacking from the rest of the franchise shows - particularly BH, which just wreaks of scripted, structured, business like interaction. It's clear that the NYC ladies remain in each other's orbit throughout the year. Sonja taking that Jitney bus service was just...what a fall from grace. And then driving her 20 year old Mercedes in the Hamptons. It's all faded grandeur for her. She's got the townhouse up for rent at $32,000 a month - no takers so far. I loved Luann shopping around the Hamptons for Bethenny's birthday gift basket...and Sonja's blender. I love seeing that glimpse into the domestic lives of the ladies. Tinsley and Carole are both super bitter this season. Tinsley is a whiner, and as Bethenny points out, what is she complaining about when the debate is whether she's funded by a trust fund or a boyfriend? All I know is she's an idiot to be living in that hotel when she could live in a comparable apartment for 25% of the price. Carole is so crusty and ashy and mean. Carole is just a hag. Nobody can say anything to her without getting a defensive reaction. Bethenny's birthday dinner was amusing. When Luann admitted that Bethenny was right...and now just right but "fu*kin' right" about Tom, and Bethenny's reaction, I laughed, rewound and loved it all over again. I'm finding myself enjoying and finding myself in agreement with Bethenny this season. She is right about Luann vs Ramona - Luann is likeable, Ramona is tolerated by most, and Carole just plain hates Luann. That said, I also enjoyed Ramona's scenes with setting up the art in her house. She is incredibly kooky. Now we come to Luann's breakfast...and I have an unpopular opinion. I think that Dorinda did not come across very well at Luann's breakfast when she launched into Sonja. Sonja blathers on quite frequently, but I agree with Luann that Sonja is harmless. Without being insensitive, Dorinda does talk about Richard's death as often as Sonja talks about her divorce. And both of these events are losses and pain is relative. Dorinda just went ballistic and it wasn't even Sonja who brought it up - Luann is the one who said "you've been through a lot" to Sonja and Dorinda just jumped right in, slamming her. Sonja is minimizing her use of an anti-depressant (I think she might want to reconsider her position that she isn't depressed and that it's only a matter of anxiety, for her own sake) but it's a reaction like Dorinda's which puts a huge stigma on mental health problems. At the same time, Dorinda clearly needs grief counselling about Richard's death as he's been gone since 2011 and that loss is still very raw for Dorinda.
  6. She doesn’t seem to have self awareness...so I doubt she knows her tides have gone out.
  7. If she does...she’s going to regret it. Camille could destroy her.
  8. BH was an absolute dud this season, as it has been for several seasons. The only thing I enjoyed was seeing Camille's engagement ring - congratulations Camille. Interestingly, Rinna posted an Instagram story and one of the frames was a set of four photographs of her and LVP at Dorit's fashion show, looking very happy together, laughing and smiling. The problem with BH is it's basically scripted entirely when the women are together and some of them (Kyle and Dorit) seem overly aware and how boring it is and amp it up with made up stupid crap fights that nobody cares about. Why were we subjected to more Pantygate? Have we not endured enough? I enjoyed seeing LVP adopt her rescue dog. That's the happiest she looked all season.
  9. Gizelle is a mean bitch with an ugly heart. Robyn is too stupid for words. Not only is she the one who lost their money (I thought it was Juan! Or a joint decision! But no, all Robyn!) but she’s got the audacity to be outraged when someone punctures a hole in her bullshit. And everything she complains about concerning Ashley is what she’s trying to do to Karen. But Karen is way too crafty to be played by these ladies. She and Ray showed up at Chris’ birthday with their heads held high and rightly so. It was a sweet scene when Karen went to the spa with her daughter and comforted her. Charrisse is such an irrelevant foul turd I am so glad she’s not in the show this season. Candiace and her fiancé seem like a nice match. Her mother reminds me of a better spoken version of Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard’s mother: controlling!
  10. A hearing was meant to occur today for Luann's case in Palm Beach...but no news.
  11. Completely agree - Rinna’s work ethic is one of her best qualities. When Kim Richards belittled that work (and Eileen’s soap work) I could see what a dumb bitch she really is. But Rinna has done nothing this season and LVP called her on it, on camera. And so she lashes out and it just looks petty and obsessive at this point. She’s losing her sense of humour about herself.
  12. Rinna should be proud of her QVC business and her commercial endorsements - I admired that she did the adult diaper ad to keep her family going and that she admits she does it for the money. But by taking the low road, she looks really insecure against LVP. And that’s the opposite of what she wants to achieve. Vanderpump Rules is an important show for Bravo - it has the demos and the numbers and it stands on its own. And I’m sure it makes money for all involved. I don’t think Bravo is prepared to cancel BH, even though it should as it’s been a dud for several seasons in a row. It need serious retooling.
  13. BH is boring, mean and unglamorous. I haven’t seen this week’s episode and I am not in any rush. I say cancel it in its entirety, I can enjoy LVP on Vanderpump Rules. I couldn’t care less about the rest of them.
  14. ATL All of these women, except Cynthia, are so unlikeable. Sheree was full of bullsh*t hemming and hawing about She By Sheree. Andy is never going to let that up and it felt like his last kick in her dignity. September shows for spring/summer? Bye Sheree. Kenya is another fake bullsh*t artist who Andy wasn't in the mood to play around with. Her comments about her husband not saying he hated the show got shut down awfully quick and she shut up even quicker. And for the record, Kenya has terrible skin. Some of the roughest texture out there. It's caked in makeup and each and every pore sucks in the powder leaving her face like the craters on the moon. I am also done with Kandi and her obsession with getting the perfect apology from Toyota now that I know Toyota apologized off camera and they "embraced"...shut the hell up, Kandi, get off the cross, someone else needs the wood. Toyota is a dumbass but how can anyone deny that she hasn't apologized at least a dozen times. Even Nene had to admit that she doesn't know what "action" Toyota could do. Kandi and Todd were defending Nene's rape "joke" without a moment's hesitation. She loves people constantly bringing up what Toyota said. She loves playing the victim. And her relationship with her mother is ridiculous. Toyota is dumb as they come. Marlo was dressed like a shower loofa. Nene did a whole bunch of not much but she'll launch into Kim next episode for sure and make her money's worth. It's interesting that Nene basically dodged Kenya's story about Marlo and John. She didn't want to even go there. Cynthia is so comparably nice and calm and sweet. I hope she has a great life. POTOMAC I'm here for Karen. Monique is fine but she's reminding me of Icarus - she's flying awfully close to the sun. The new one, Candiace, seems awfully trashy for someone who claims to have grown up as one of the Huxtables. Gizelle and her new beau. Do we care? I don't. He's old and out of shape and presumably wealthy? I guess she is getting what she want$. Gizelle is a mean bitch with an ugly heart. Ashley got shook up real quick when the Grande Dame levelled her with the unsavoury allegations against Michael. She is so unspeakably dumb to throw shade at Karen when Ashley is living off of man who she barely tolerates. Robyn remains absolutely vile. When she was bemoaning Ashley's conduct in her VT, it was painfully obvious that everything she was saying about Ashley could be applied to her conduct with Karen. The Grande Dame's "press conference" was a hot steaming mess. However, I do not understand why the rest of the women are so stupid as to not realize that Karen kept her finances separate from Ray for the exact reason that's happening before our eyes? He's her second husband, she probably earned an income from his businesses as an income splitting decision (perfectly legal) and she kept her finances separate so that in the event his ship sinks, she stays afloat. That's smart.
  15. I thought Eva was boring and useless this season. A shame for Sheree, simply because it's clear she needs the income.
  16. BH Blah. Kyle continues to whine and is an insufferable drama queen. Dorit sucks too, but I dislike Kyle more. Erica looked like Eva Braun at that dinner. LVP's shoes looked so uncomfortable. I liked the private shopping scene. Loved Rinna's sequin suit. And that's it. This season is a dud. NYC Strong start right out of the gate. This franchise has surely been hotly anticipated. Carole's blond hair has really amped up her bitch attitude. Her hair doesn't suit her at all. The chain smoking and marathon running is another ridiculous contradiction of hers. Ramona rocked that Britney Spears costume. She remains a foghorn that Bethenny can't silence and for that I will always enjoy her. Dorinda was a drunk mess. That costume was hilarious though. And it was nice to see her conversation with Luann (more on her below). Sonja seemed more sober and centred like in her earliest seasons. Interesting to hear her admit to taking an anti-depressant, putting on weight (common) and then getting off of them. And good to see her with Rocco - a way better choice than fake ass Frenchie. Obviously, the premiere belongs to Luann. I loved her Diana Ross outfit (go to hell, Carole)...I really hope she pulls through with all this stuff.
  17. Turns out that schmoozing might have been important. She’s been cast in Season 8 of American Horror Story! Go Dame Joan!
  18. Exactly! Why are any of the Potomac women taking pot shots at Karen's financial situation when not one of them would be able to hack it alone without their husbands or ex-husbands? If Karen has her own money and has been filing her own taxes then good for her! It's interesting that the women assumed that Karen signed off on returns - it goes to show they've never filed their own after marriage.
  19. Great to have Potomac back. Karen's situation...why do these women care if Karen knew that Ray was in financial trouble? Don't any of them realize that there might be legal reasons that Karen is acting as if she knew nothing? And what about the possibility that because these are business tax debts, and not personal tax debts, she actually didn't know what was going on. In any event, these women are mean to kick Karen while she's down. I respect any woman who writes her own cheques and manages her own money. I tip my hat to the Grande Dame. It isn't as if Ashley, Monique or Robin can say they've done the same.
  20. But that was the whole point: Alexis had money, but she didn't have her children, didn't have anyone to love, and she didn't have what she conceived to be power. Hers was a lesson that money by itself isn't enough. She wanted it all.
  21. How do you mean? Cookie Lyon of Empire is far closer to Joan's Alexis than Nicollette's Alexis.
  22. I have watched the entirety of 'Enter Alexis' and can make the following comments: They've written Alexis differently and in some ways, they've gone opposite to Joan's portrayal. Joan's Alexis was menacing and a confidence assassin. Vicious but charming. This Alexis is down on her luck and faking her power. They're playing to Sheridan's strengths with this Alexis being more flirtatious and sympathetic and outwardly comedic. It's more Edie Britt than Paige Matheson and nothing like Joan's Alexis. But I enjoy Sheridan as an actress and she brings a lot of energy to this show which is desperately needed. The way they shoot this show takes a lot of the wind out of the dramatic sails of the show. The Alexis line they reused about Fallon having her teeth fixed, if not her tongue, was a bit of a throwaway given how quickly they moved onto the next line. And they've done a lot in this episode - buildup or anticipation, lots of action. That's the CW for you. The strangest element of Alexis' return to the series is to see Cristal not being the active rival for Alexis and for Cristal to make a comment against Blake and for Anders to be an ally for Alexis.
  23. Kim's lips...good lord.
  24. Exactly. Kyle is just awful. Her big fake laugh and big insincere smile. I can't think of a moment where she was anything less than totally selfish.
