  1. She hosts the upcoming group trip, so that's when she'll kick in. Renovating her house would probably have cramped her style because it's an IRL pain in the ass that consumes time.
  2. I'm enjoying Dallas, but the problem is D'Andra has the Second Season Bitch Curse. There also doesn't seem to be any good reason for her hatred of Leanne. She's just coming off as immature and petty.
  3. Beverley Callard has been awesome in the last couple of episodes!
  4. Like Coronation Street with better weather.
  5. The contribution actors make to scripts is really underestimated. Joan Collins was known for re-writing pages of Alexis' dialog and Ed DeBlasio, the Dynasty script king who wrote more than half of the shows teleplays, said her changes were always for the better.
  6. I was in Australia when the wedding aired - it was sweet and nicely produced and several Australian landmarks were lit up in rainbow colours the night the wedding aired to commemorate it. I'd never seen Neighbours before and was surprised at its tone (not like a US soap, not like a UK soap either, hard to describe, but it was definitely earnest and while scenes move slow, an awful lot happens in an episode).
  7. I view Yolanda and LVP differently than you do, but to each their own for sure. Had Rinna embraced exposing Yolanda the audience would have embraced her. Yolanda was not having a good season that year and the tide was turning against her.
  8. Rinna, Kyle, and LVP all played the Munchausen thing wrong. Instead of turning on each other so that nobody looked like they were insinuating the Muchausen allegation, they should have united and called Yolanda to the floor. Her recovery from "chronic lyme" (which is not a real diagnosis) was downright miraculous once her divorce was tied up in a neat bow, in my humble opinion. If Rinna, Kyle, and LVP had just owned the fact that they all thought she was malingering her symptoms they would have been unstoppable.
  9. I sort of wonder if there's a possibility that LVP is going to be a Friend of the Housewives this season as a means to transition out and that the other ladies are unaware and THAT is why she didn't take a group photo. She didn't want them to know that she's an FOH and is on her way out. What I really think is despicable is that LVP's brother died of an overdose in May and it seems none of the women are at all willing to give her a break. Her brother's death is also part of why I wonder if she's on her way out because she's looking at life and seeing it isn't worth it. LVP is paid at least $500,000 for 4-5 months worth of filming that consists of 3 days a week of filming. It's a lot of money for what they actually have to do. But at some point, especially with VPR, it can't be worth enduring this crap.
  10. It would be interesting to see Lisa leave midseason like Jeana Keough did on OC years ago. The rest of them would destroy each other and that's what we need to see. Hmm about the charges being dropped.
  11. I hope Ken went full scale Old School East End on Kyle. They haven’t been real friends since Mauricio sold their old house. Now that Kyle is back in the fold with Kathy and Kim I’m sure she felt comfortable throwing away what was left of her relationship with LVP. A 6 episode mini show following LVP and Ken to the south of France would be amazing! I loved the episode when they visited Warren and his wife Sue Vanner (who are close friends of Dame Joan Collins) - it would be superb. I hope LVP quits. Then I can dump BH. VPR is way better anyway.
  12. It's amazing to see Friday and Saturday nights being prime television viewing nights rather than the time slot graveyards they've been for two decades.
  13. We will! She's playing a few characters this season...and welcome back!
  14. I enjoyed OC. A good mix of scenes. I especially enjoyed Shannon at QVC...but oh that jacket was too small.
  15. Totally agree. It was a mediocre trailer. Meanwhile Potomac is giving us insane drama in the off season! It’s better than any of the franchises on the air right now!
  16. Ashley posted on her Instagram story that no charges were filed, no suspension etc. It's insane of her because you can literally pull up the filing against Michael. And the cameraman took out a restraining order against Michael.
  17. Delicious, piping hot tea. Thank you for sharing!
  18. I think she will take the high road as well when it comes to Ashley. Privately, however, I hope she and Ray had a good laugh over this one.
  19. WHOA! I hope Karen luxuriates in this one. The question is: what does Ashley do (aside from get dragged by Karen left and right!)
  20. Gretchen has entered Tori Spelling territory where her face no longer has an age and she looks oddly matronly.
  21. Budget Jeana!! LOL - amazing!
  22. Shots fired! Erotica Lame has revealed it was LVP who refused to do the cast photo shoot: https://www.realitytea.com/2018/09/24/erika-jayne-confirms-lisa-vanderpump-did-not-want-to-partake-in-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-cast-photo-shoot/
  23. I watched this one last night. It's better than anything Y&R has put on air in 15 years. The full Winters/Johnson clan, Jill glowing with the news of her pregnancy that only she knows (the moment when Jill gets the news she's pregnant - Jess conveyed more in her facial expression than half the current cast is capable of if shouting their lungs out), while scaring the bejesus out of everyone with her upbeat attitude. Brad as Neil's best man! Katherine and Rex (with so much chemistry, killing off Rex was impactful but I wonder how different things would have been had he lived). And all that heavenly instrumental music. More genuine emotion in one episode than I've seen in years.
  24. I too am surprised at those ratings, especially for BH. It’s interesting that NYC, which has had a ‘moment’ in the zeitgeist for the last two seasons, isn’t higher rated because it FEELS like it’s more popular. VPR skews young - and that’s not a bad thing as far as Bravo is concerned. I’m glad Potomac is in the top 10 - but it deserves better scheduling and higher numbers because this past season was amazing. In a lot of ways the RH franchise is like the daytime soap opera lineup: people watch habitually and when that habit is broken they don’t come back. And agrees re LVP. These clowns never learn.
  25. A few years ago, maybe...but since her daughter, Nicky, married a Rothschild? No way.
