Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Absolutely. Candiace’s mom was really ugly in that scene. To blame the sins of the father on his child? And when she KNEW of him before she married him. Just a total bitch.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
+1 to all of it. This was a great episode and it looks to be a promising season. The Ashley and Michael scene had me throw up in my mouth a little bit. Gross. I couldn't believe it. The Grande Dame's new wigs are looking great. Bewildered at Gizelle being surprised that Karen doesn't want to deal with her and would rather spend her time with Matt - her loyal friend. WTF?!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I agree. I too am concerned that we'll see an upheaval in NYC when it's not necessary. This is the best cast of a RH franchise currently on the air and it's always a delight to watch. I cannot say that for any other franchise, save for Potomac which is still young enough to remain fresh. This is Sonja's best season and she's been hilarious and game for anything throughout. Perfect comic relief and a good foil for Bethenny. I couldn't help but pity Tinsley when she was whining about what a natural Sonja was at the circus while Tinsley was stiff and awkward and all she was doing was introducing herself. Sonja has a natural charisma that Tinsley simply lacks. Her marriage with Topper was probably the best fit for her, but it imploded, and she's trying to figure out a second act for herself without much success. I didn't think Dale was harsh at all: I thought Dale was being real with Tinsley and not indulging her child-like self pity. The infomercial for The Hustle with Dorinda and Sonja was awkward and ridiculous on production's part, but they were wise to choose Dorinda and Sonja. Somehow, because it's them, I didn't even mind. I loved the Ramona/Barbara shopping scene because it was so awkward as Ramona appeared to have an 'ah-ha' moment over what an obvious ass she makes of herself time and again with her unrestrained opinions. Luann...Luann...Luann...Luann. I love Lu, but I don't respect that she's violated her probation twice while on this high from her cabaret tour. I don't believe she considers herself an alcoholic. She said as much in her tennis scene with Jill. This hasn't been Lu's best season as her ego is swollen beyond belief. Her parole is up in August, so I'm disappointed she couldn't keep her sh*t together for a year. Heather McDonald had her on her Juicy Scoop podcast this week and I'd highly recommend listening to it. Luann gives good interview, but it's clear that she looks back at the incident in Palm Beach pretty defensively.

Y&R: Old Articles
Estee Lauder was cofounded by Estee's husband, Joe, and her son, Leonard, was the chairman for decades. Leonard's son, Estee's grandson, William, remains the chairman to this day. Estee Lauder is the largest cosmetics conglomerate in the world. If LML thought it was incredible that John Abbott, a man, could run Jabot, then she's a bigger hack bitch from the depths of hell than I ever could have imagined. Agreed, Alden and Smith did very good job at creating a need for Nikki and Brad to get involved at Jabot and breathed life into their characters, tying them to the Abbotts, which was especially important for Brad who was a lone wolf for so long. And that also lent natural conflict between Victor, Nikki, and Ashley, not to mention Jill. I can still remember the episodes where Ashley and Jack figured out it was Victor who was calling the balloon loan payment, and got investment from Nikki and Brad at the very last minute as Jill imploded in disbelief at how inept they'd been in managing the company's debt. It was the last great business storyline Y&R had.

BRAVO: Vanderpump Rules
I enjoyed the season for what it was - a transition year out of the restaurant and into adulthood for much of the cast. It's interesting that Tom and Ariana, Tom and Katie, Jax and Brittney, and Kristen have all bought homes in the Valley Village area of the San Fernando Valley. No more apartments for any of them. Hopefully the show will be wise and evolve with this and embrace how they're growing up. LVP doing a beer bong was worth the entire season. And Billie Lee is unlikeable, and frankly always has been, so it'll be interesting to see the reunion.

Never has a Ramona gif been more useful. I couldn't believe my ears at what Dorit was saying to LVP. PK was making an awful lot of sense and was fair: he believes it came from LVP's camp, but he believes her that she doesn't know who would have leaked it because she's sworn on her children's lives. PK seemed, for once, incredibly reasonable. And he knew Dorit was making a total ass of herself. All that said, I was glad that Ken and LVP held firm. I particularly enjoyed LVP throwing away her relationship with Dorit and emphasizing just how fake it is with the "I actually don't..." If Kyle thinks she was on the level of friendship with LVP that would entitle her to know LVP's nearest and dearest, she's kidding herself. She's the realtor's wife who lives in Encino. Plain and simple.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
And I feel exactly the opposite. It's the constant cast changes that make these shows less and less organic. I think a lot of RHONYs success is down to finding a cast of women who actually know each other. And I think that's only possible in a super social town like NYC. LA and the OC and NJ aren't comparable at all and as a result, all of the cast changes have made these shows more of a job for the women cast in them than a peak into their actual lives and interactions.

Karen is underrated as an iconic housewife. That 2 minute clip was better than an entire season of ATL.

ATL Cynthia did herself no favours with her lame duck "explanation" about Kenya attending her party...but Nene came across as petty, lazy, and dumb in this reunion. Kandi skated that conflict with precision. Tanya deserves a peach. Marlo deserves whatever deal she can work out with Bravo - despite being a deplorable criminal, she brings it to this show. Shamari was a non-event and if it's true that she's not being asked back I wholly understand why. Eva is another one who I don't think is worth having on the show. She falls flat. But I can see Bravo's hesitancy in recasting too much of the show. Portia, of all of them, was compelling and fun to watch. Imagine that. But ATL this season was generally unimpressive. Bring on Potomac!!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I got caught up on this week's RHoBH. This show is a hot mess of insincerity and you can see how the producers had to work overtime to make this season have a cohesive narrative. Firstly, Erika must be an absolute assh*le to work for. The way she reacted to the dancer accidentally kneeing her in the face - she was boiling with anger. The dinner fight between Camille and Rinna was awful for both parties. Camille, of course, looked insane comparing herself to Brent Kavanaugh and Rinna looked like massive hypocrite dealing with Kim Richards (who clearly is right under her skin). The only upside was seeing Rinna's mom, Lois, who is a star. Her story was harrowing. Rinna and Dorit look so weird as friends, same with Dorit and Erika, same with Dorit and Teddi, same with Teddi and Erika, and same with Kyle and Camille - the stuff that's gone on with those women should have been sufficient for their "friendships" to never progress. Yet here we are. And it all feels incredibly fake. LVP's kitchen scene highlighted to me that she could be filmed solo and never interact with any of the women again and I'd still totally enjoy her scenes and consider her an integral part of the show. We often forget that the first couple of seasons of OC didn't have the women interacting outside of organic interaction and their own real lives were interesting enough to follow. LVP's life is the glamorous kind that this franchise used to be about. That they have worked in footage of the Vanderpump Cocktail garden launching (which happened weeks ago!) shows that the producers realize they need to keep a consistent thread of LVP in the show for the balance of the season.

NYC was laugh out loud funny tonight. This franchise is head and shoulders better than the rest. Ramona's naked hatred of Barbara is wonderful. Loved every second of it. Luann was acting like a total [!@#$%^&*] at the blow dry bar, but she was lovely with Tinsley at that lunch talking about alcoholism and Al-Anon. Really enjoyed Bethenny's dinner party. That was fun and convivial. Ultimately, this show is so much better because these women actually know each other and generally run in the same circle. Although there's obviously production, it feels far more natural and organic than the rest of the shows.

You were right @j swift! And better yet, after her soon to be ex-husband apologized today, Wendy fired him as her manager and executive producer. And then she had the Ferrari his jump off is driving repossessed. And then she told him he has 48 hours to vacate their NJ house.

The Wendy Williams Thread
I think she will be quiet about it in the short term. For the time being, she's in litigation with him and whatever she says can be used against her in Court. The interesting thing is that her divorce filing lists the marriage dissolution date as being 6 months ago...when all the sh*t hit the fan and she went to rehab. That's when everything leaked about her husband's mistress and the mistress being pregnant. Wendy has demonstrated a certain level of wisdom over the years that makes me think that her stay in rehab, and the delays in returning to her show, were part of a bigger plan. Wendy obviously relapsed and had to get herself together, but I am betting that she also knew if she was in rehab she would be away from him, and could formulate a plan because she'd finally been publicly humiliated in a way she couldn't handle or spin. It seems it was the public humiliation that she couldn't take and no matter how allegedly awful he was behind the scenes, she could tolerate it so long as he didn't bring shame upon her publicly. And then he did. It was over. She and Kelvin (I'm going with Charlemagne on how to say his name) have their business intertwined, so Wendy's choice of divorce lawyer is interesting: she's gone with Blank Rome, a large Philadelphia based international firm that specializes in corporate law and has in house family law counsel. Much of this is going to be about undoing their business relationship. Their son is 19, so it's not like they're going to be fighting about him, and they've been married a long time, so she may still have some lingering feelings for him, regardless of what's gone down. I think Wendy formulated her exit plan during her rehab and this time in the sober house. The way she served him with divorce papers speaks to this. She hired extra security guards and had him served in front of all their employees in the studio. According to the NY Post her staff are shocked that she actually left him. No matter how rough she's been on other celebrities over the years, there is no denying that Wendy has been through hell. If the allegations of physical abuse and Kelvin's behaviour are even half true, she is a battered woman and should be applauded for finally gathering the necessary strength to leave an abusive marriage. She reminds me of Tina Turner. I hope, like Tina, her second act, without him, is a triumph.

"I've had a bad experience with all of them." - LVP. The rest of the Beverly Hills broads should be afraid. Very afraid. The support that has built for LVP during this season is like a tsunami coming to the shore.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
As if we all didn't know. What B tried to do was say Kyle and Rinna had nothing to do with leaking the story...which could of course be true...it could be any of Dorit, PK, Erika, Teddi, or the most likely culprit, PRODUCTION. But Rinna, Teddi, and Kyle ran with it and tried to take down LVP. And they have utterly failed.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

From your lips to God's ears. These broads make it all about LVP, even when they're not filming with her. Rinna is doing her level best to shield herself from the fallout. It's as if she realized midway through this crap that the ammo against LVP were blanks and that what's gone on with Dorit and Kyle amounted to a whole bunch of nothing. Drunk(?) Camille was hilarious.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I really enjoyed this first part of the ATL reunion - it was funny. But wow, Nene, wow. She came off horribly.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
NYC This episode was great. Laugh out loud funny at times. When Sonja was talking about Ramona's date and she instantly clocked the guy as "Okay so he's smart, but not good looking" I laughed out loud. That was perfection. As well, when Sonja cracked herself up in the car being driven up the Berkshires. She is a naturally funny person. Then we have Ramona's "Oh my god it looks like Bethenny crying!" - another laugh out loud moment. Luann really showed her ass and came off terribly at the end of the episode about the Shark Room. Like, for God's sake. It's a large, clean, private room in a large country manor house. Stop complaining. Haughty doesn't begin to describe how poorly Lu was acting at that table, asking for yoga classes and massages to be scheduled, and Dorinda looked genuinely crushed. Next week looks amazing too as Sonja goes Full Morgan at that museum. Now for my PSA: When Tinsley got Botox for her jaw pain I was thrilled. I actually have this treatment myself and started it May of 2018. I haven't had a headache since. It's life changing. If you have TMJ or teeth grinding, look into it.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
#GoodbyeKyle That was riveting episode as we watched the friendship between LVP and Kyle die a certain and swift death. The end of this friendship has been coming for a long time, some would say from the very start of the show as Kyle's jealousy reared its head at LVP as the spotlight turned and shimmered all over her from the very first episode. Kyle has been smarting over that ever since. And so when this season began, it clearly had the makings of Kyle/Rinna/Erika/Teddi/Dorit's revenge on LVP. Except, it didn't work out like that. The plot wreaked of production and staging. It wreaked of amateurs. It wreaked of Richards, and something fierce. Kyle coming to LVP's house didn't go as she planned...but in hindsight, how could she have seen it go any other way? She walked into the woman's home and called her a liar. She said she was image obsessed. Dishonest. Insincere. When LVP went to the door to greet Kyle with a huge smile beaming across her face, as we, the audience, knew what was coming, it was heartbreaking because the rug was about to be pulled out from under LVP. However, one thing Kyle didn't count on was that LVP isn't some foolish American housewife. Rather, she is a jet setting English battle-axe wrapped in pink fluffy gauze. She fought back. And she looked Kyle right in the eye when she fired back at her, while Kyle's eyes darted in every direction except for straight in front of the reality careening toward her. I commend Ken and LVP for throwing out the trash succinctly. Ken said what much of the audience has been saying for years: Kyle is not LVP's friend and she hasn't been for years. I'm glad LVP finally sees it. I hope she is permanently free of her, the realtor's wife who lives in the Valley. - Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
