  8. Vince and Mav Jaroslavski were in two episodes that month so I assume they were Leslie's parents. I like that they brought on the parents as often new characters have no relatives which is always a little weird. Nice to see Hank from Maggie's farm was also brought back. Mike and Margo were last seen on May 21st. Mike had a few appearances June 9th, June 20th, June 25th which seemed to be phone call scenes from the farm. He was then back on July 29, 30 to wrap up Margo's death. It seems she got an offscreen funeral. It seems Mike the went to work at Andersons. He appeared Aug 5, 19, 22nd. Tune in Tomorrow said Chris promoted Mike, who's pitted against David at the plant. Mike wants to join Chris' new marina project. Richard Guthrie's last day as David was August 25th I wonder why they decided to ditch David? I think Richard Guthrie was popular and there were plenty of things they could do with David. Trish and Mike gravitating towards each other again woukld have been a natural story to tell at this point.

  11. P&G was The Catlins. Rituals was Telepictures at the time. Forgot about Santa Barbara- certainly long running and well remembered.
  12. The Doctors is unique in that it was long running and independently owned by CP. The only other long running shows are either P&G, ABC or Sony and none of them seem interested in licensing their shows. The only other posssibilities are 20th Century Fox who produced Return to Peyton Place and Best of Everything and Metromedia? How to Survive a Marriage. That's if the shows have been kept and they were willing to let them be shown. Of course they were fairly short runs so Retro may not be interested. Capitol is another possibility- I wonder who owns the rights?

  14. Looking back at 1986 the show took on a lot trying to tell 2 back from the dead stories with amnesia thrown in. Of the two families involved both the mainstays of the Loves - Donna and Marley/Victoria would be (badly) recast within the year and Peter was already on his 3rd recast with a new personality to boot. Nicole had already come and gone and the returned with a recast who made little impression and was dropped. The McKinnons had a recently recast MJ and Vince, Kathleen was gone by years end,as was Jake. Cheryl appeared out of nowhere and Ben never bothered to come back. So there really wasn't a strong backdrop for the return of these parents. DePriest said AW would be the story of the McKinnons, Loves and Cory's but didn't really nuture and strengthen those families. I recall something along those lines or was it that he didn't want too be a recast? Jason was supposed to have two daughters arrive at some point I think.
