I totally believed what Todd has been saying, however, what I am saying that he has been pushing this narrative for the last couple weeks only now he is reporting/admitting that it has been coming from the Republicans directly. It is political game playing through the media, but it remains crazy talk. There is no statistically evidence that Romney is close to 270. If anything, the opposite is true.

LOL! You believe Chuck Todd? He is the biggest Republican stooge. He has been trying to sell Romney as ahead for weeks now. Pay attention to Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight blog at the NY TImes (http://fivethirtyeig...gs.nytimes.com/). Nate called the 2008 down to the a few votes correctly using well done statistical analysis, not the wishful thinking that the Republicans are currently engaged in. Nate currently has the President at 290 electoral college votes to Romney's 247.2, giving the President a 70.3 percentage chance of winning the election. Right now the early voting in Iowa has the President on track to win that state which will help put the final dagger in Romney on election day.

You don't appreciate Romney wanting to kill the auto industry because he loves Michigan.

The President did a great job in this last debate. Romney is ridiculous and a liar. His violent thug son hugging the President.

A slightly decline, but amazing ratings for the second episode of TWD. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/10/22/the-walking-dead-slips-to-still-amazing-numbers-in-second-episode-of-season-three/154229/

Argggh! I just saw the long preview for the next episode.

Merle! I had forgot about him. I am re-watching. I love the moment when Hershel wakes up and sees everyone, then raises his hand to Rick. Rick looks a bit embarrassed as he looks around and then takes Hershel's hand. There is such a great connection between Rick and Hershel, a father/son bond. The actor who played the prisoner that Rick chopped in the head is now on The Talking Dead.

Daryl is very sexy with his cross bow.

Rick letting those two guys live is exactly why he is such a good man and I love him. Even under these horrible circumstances, he can stop his worse impulses and find his humanity. Who is watching Carol? Don't make up with her, Rick, don't get sucked into her drama again. Yay, Rick walked away. He is done with Lori. Just want I wanted to see. Excellent second episode. TWD keeps the killing and gore going. Just wanted people wanted last season. BTW, those prisoners were so dumb. How could I forget Hershel's butchered leg. Argh! I laughed with Lori said that Carl would have room to do whatever he does these days. Oh, and because it can never be mentioned enough, I LOVE that no one argues with Rick any more and we are not subjected to long debates. The machete to the head reminds of that final scene in The Last of the Mohicans. I am so glad that Hershel survived. It was suspenseful watching to see if he would turn.

OMG! Rick stabbed him in the head! I actually screamed. Rick left the other guy to die. Carol wanting to practice the c-section on a walker. Hershel don't die! Seriously, this show is the [!@#$%^&*]! There is nothing better.

LOL! You got that right. Republican voter fraud is widespread and a serious problem. After all, they are misprinting ballots and leaving billboard in Philly to mislead Hispanic voters about the election.

Shane's death also transformed Rick. Rick makes decisive decisions and his instructions are followed with the bickering. I love that we were not subjected to an endless debate about if taking over the prison was a good idea. Rick is now the undisputed leader of the group with no one trying to undermine him or stir trouble or shed doubts on his decisions. The group has become cohesive, stronger, and better survivors. I do think that Lori can have a place in the group, but her death would no doubt also impact Rick and take him in the new direction, where I want him to go. I think that he is a great character. Andrew Lincoln does an excellent job playing Rick as the often underestimated silent dangerous hero. I much prefer Hershel to Dale. Even though Dale was often right, I found his pontificating annoying at times. Hershel is the better character and I think the actor is very good. Hershel also works better because he has two daughters in the group. He is also feels more like a father figure to Rick which Dale never was and his support of Maggie and Glenn's relationship also endeared him to me.

Both Tagg and his mother were giving the President the evil stare during and after the debate. Romney's aggressive body language, invasion of the President's personal space, and bullying and insulting manner and words made me think that he wanted to punch the President. White privileged men like Romney are not accustomed to be opposed or confronted by people of color or women, in particular. The President has had to deal with men like Romney all his life and in that last debate, he effectively put Romney in his place and Romney did not like it one bit. Check on this article on body language from the debate: http://www.washingto...dcf2_story.html

Bullying is a Romney family trait. Tagg Romney (one of Mitt Romney's sons) wanted to "take a swing" at the President during the debate. So much for single mothers being the ones who produce violent people. http://thinkprogress...swing-at-obama/

My favorite part of the episode is when Nikhil and Gennie held their baby girl. Too bad so much time was spent with sad sack Debbie's birth.

Chas is overexposed anyway. Regardless, she did not kill Carl, Cameron did so if anyone is going next, it is him. I have to say that I don't mind them killing off Carl. His violent death feels like karma. Too bad EE won't do the with Phil Mitchell.

I agree. There is no excuse for Obama not dealing with immigration reform when he had the Democratic Congress. Also, he has not told us what his agenda is for his second term. However, Romney is so vague and is such a liar that he flounders when he is confronted directly. The debate had good ratings: http://tvbythenumber...-debate/153433/

There was nothing for Candy or anyone to correct other than in the imaginations and delusions of Republicans. She and the President were right and Romney was rightly owned on that and many other points. Jonathan Bernstein from the Washington Post describes Romney and the Republicans issues nicely here: http://www.washingto...og.html?hpid=z3

I am still on a high from Obama's outstanding performance last night. I have run out of superlatives. I love the coverage in the NY Times and Washington Post today. The editorials both were pro-Obama, particularly the Times, as were almost all the articles and columns. The President has successfully changed the media's narrative and this along with the instant polls in his favor will help nudge people disenchanted with his previous first debate disaster back towards him.

The CNN analyst was doing some fact checking this morning. She said that the President's statement that he grew Pell grants was true, then she fact checked Romney's statement that he wanted to grow Pell grants also. She noted that Romney had always stated that he wanted to cut education and that the Ryan budget had major cuts in education so the growing Pell grants was a new one from Romney. She smirked and you could just tell that she wanted to roll her eyes. Ah Romney, so many lies, so little time. There is nothing that he will not say to get elected. Romney has got to be the most mendacious presidential candidate since Richard Nixon.

I was unsure what to make of Romney's "binders full of women" comment, but it is telling that after all his years of running Bain that he did not know any qualified women to join the Massachusetts government. He really must live in a world where almost everyone is a white male.
