  1. This is less a presidential election race than it has become a T&A circus. It's sick. Right now, the world is either laughing at us or disgusted with us. And I can't blame them. How low can this go? I shudder to think. I just pray about a month from now that memories of Trump will fade quickly, he'll lose, and go crawl back into the sewer. Really wish I could move to Canada if this a-s-s-h-o-l-e somehow defies odds and wins.
  2. Arianne Zucker breaks her silence: http://tvline.com/2016/10/09/arianne-zucker-trump-tape-interview-actress-video/
  3. This only confirms Donald Trump as a pig and the piece of s-h-i-t he is. But I don't think this will sink him with those that still support him (inexplicably so). I *do* think trying to capture the undecided voters may help Clinton with this lovely little leak, though. Or I hope it does. The idea of this POS as president seriously repulses me.
  4. I can't believe this...creature...will try to bring up Bill's infidelities. First, and this is just my opinion, while he may have sucked as a husband, receiving sexual favors had zero to do with his ability to run the country. Second, he is not running for office, Hillary is. And this really should amount to nothing. And finally, third? If Trump wants to throw that poo around, I hope Hillary will ask him how happy Ivana was when Miss Georgia Peach Marla Maples entered the mix. Hypocritical asswipe. (And show me a faithful politician on either side of the aisle in freakin' decades and I'll show you a Pegasus unicorn that craps rainbow glitter.) If this was Joe or Jane Doe, they would be arrested already. Candidate or not, why the hell is Trump exempt?! Lock HIM up!
  5. So I was just looking at the Variety article about the debate and asking readers who won...and the comments terrify me. Lots of pro-Trump there. I think, no matter how badly Trump did, there is a contingent that just will not budge, either because of e-mails or Benghazi or, and this one pisses me off, because she's a woman. I just pray that Trump will lose and go crawl under a rock.
  6. November 8th, so our agony continues for another month and some-odd weeks.
  7. All I will say is this: We as a country are truly screwed if Trump is elected. That's not simple hyperbole. Just the scary truth.
  8. Let me rephrase: To be president, you have to be American, be it of a parent or parents who were/are American, or born in the US yourself. And I think the asswipes tried to use Obama's father being from...Africa, was it? Against him. There's also the whole Hawaii angle which confuses me because Hawaii has been a state since 1959!
  9. Because, yes, race was undoubtedly a factor. But, constitutionally, if Obama was not born in the US, he would not be eligible to be president. One has to be born in the US to do so.
  10. Can't lose what one never had in the first place!
  11. And I just saw him (and Bronwen Booth, the first Andy on OLTL) on a L&O: Criminal Intent repeat the other night from way back, like 2003 or so. He and Booth played a married couple. Seems like Pinter is making a decent career of "hey, it's that guy!" in prime time shows.
  12. If anyone here is a member of Amazon Prime, Dynasty is now streaming on Amazon Instant Video.
  13. As I type, Nicolas Coster is playing a defense lawyer against Ben Stone on Law & Order from 1993, the episode called "Volunteers".
  14. I'll forever love Lane Davies in the role of Mason Capwell and loved him with NLG's Julia and credit him as the definitive Mason. With that said... I agree Terry Lester was a good actor but sadly miscast, but if Mason had to have a replacement actor, I thought Gordon Thomson did the role justice, and it helped that he, too, sparked with NLG.
  15. So, not really about ATWT, per se, more than it is about one of its actors, but I was watching a Season 2 Law & Order episode from 1991, "The Wages of Love", and I thought the lawyer for a suspect looked familiar even with a mustache and beard, so I checked IMDB, and I was right. The late Benjamin Hendrickson played the lawyer. Interestingly, the lawyer, Frank Lehrman, for the next suspect charged was played by none other than Jerry Orbach who would, of course, return to the series the following season, Season 3, as Lennie Briscoe for a little over a decade.
  16. Not really. Not enough time! LOL! But I drop in now and then.
  17. Cool. Thank you!
  18. Holy crap! :-( This is so sad. And he was great as Brandon and had a great rapport with the cast, especially Robin Mattson. I wonder if they ever stayed in touch. This is heartbreaking.
  19. A French SB site (which has an English site) has posted an interview with Erin Moore, who played Mason and Julia's daughter, Samantha, from around 1988 'til the show's end in 1993. Cute interview. But check out her picture. Her resemblance to on-screen mom NLG is quite something! Erin Moore (Samantha Wainwright Capwell) interview
  20. He also has a recurring role on Bones as "squintern" Finn Abernathy.
  21. Actually it's Greg and Megan. (But, yeah, close, right? Maybe you are confused because Meg Bennett, a.k.a. Mrs. Bob Guza, played her?) Don't really blame you, though, since the characters were just that forgettable. Once Greg left town, the entire family - and audience - forgot he existed, too.
  22. As a huge SB fan who was indifferent to AW (even though I respect its legacy and fans), probably because AW had been on NBC much, much longer, so there was more of an investment. Not to mention that AW didn't have the legal baggage and sour-grapes fallout that SB did with regards to NBC.
  23. Ah, thanks. At least I recalled she read for a Capwell role (even if Hayley was one via marriage!). Never knew about reading for Linda Warner, though! Funny that Melissa Leo got that one. The devil Warner to Cliff's angel.
  24. Reminds me of hearing that Julia Roberts once tested for Santa Barbara ages ago but was rejected. I forget the source, but I swear I did read that. I think it was even for the role of Kelly Capwell.
  25. I LOATHED the Capwell mansion re-design. The original set looked very "California" looking while the white everywhere in the redesign looked like the inner aspects of a hospital. Ick. But the focus on CG/Kelly during MW's break was a good part, as I did like CG as Kelly a lot. Julia and Mason were my ULTIMATE faves, separately and together, but CG as Kelly was another. And it is now *21* years after the fact and I'm still livid that she got the boot for ED, who sucked in the role. The Dobsons really screwed up during Round 2. And I'm almost kinda glad - MINUS the great last Capwell Dinner - they got the boot, since their plans sounded horrific. (Mason/Katrina? Yuck x 1,000! GT looked like Mariah Ellingsen's [Katrina] father.)
