I wouldn't mind Pam being killed off. She has always been a very silly character. And so is the revelation that Heather is Esme's mother. Perhaps Alley Mills has more luck playing Anjelica Deveraux next month, since everybody thinks it is ok for actors to appear in all soaps at the same time 😍

Yes really. I hope you are ok with me expressing my opinion. With only four soaps left, it seems stupid to use the same actors at the same time. It takes away some of the soapiness. Sorry about that 😂

Poor JG doing his best to make Chelsea work. Not happening. Especially with this kind of dialogue.

Seeing actors on multiple shows takes away something from the soapiness, at least for me. Considering that a soap is supposed to be an alternate world, whether it is written by James E. Reilly or Claire Labine. So has GR as Kevin and Leo. I hate it.

With Roman, Marlena and Carrie leaving the parent show, would Bo and Carly headline Days along with Jack and Jennifer? And John would be left in Salem? Doing what? I haven't watched the Aremid episodes in ages. Was it obvious that it a hidden pilot? I guess Aremid was an early version of Passions.

Patty Lutz was more like Nola Reardon. Roya was Erica 2.0. Lisa was more like Tina Lord.

In my eyes this was not a suitable story for Mason and Julia. More of a Keith and Gina or Lionel and Augusta thing.

I was always under the impression that the old Capwell set was back once Conboy was gone. After watching some random 1992 episodes, I realized that the mansion was no longer important to the show.

How did the Capwell mansion get the old look back?

Thank you so much @DRW50! The many faces of Loving... a brand new show every other year. I find Trucker and Trisha so boring, all this staring... Celeste Holm is such an interesting Isabelle. Dabney was Alice Horton with money, Barry was Phoebe 2.0 and Holm reminds me of early Stephanie Forrester. All episodes feature several random characters. I don't remember other soaps doing this.

Stacey was the Hilary Bauer of the group in the early episodes. I guess that Marland planned to have Jack and Lily as the star-crossed lovers. Once she was written out, Stacey became the love of Jack's life. It is interesting that Jack and Lily's story is almost identical to Phillip and Beth's on GL. Knowing that Marland loved his blue-collar families, I wonder what his long term plans for the Donovans were.

What was the point of Kelly getting involved with a pianist who was married to Deborah Adair? He died in bed with her, the story was similar to the one Dobsons wrote for Dee Stewart and Peter Simon's Ian. Everything started and ended within a few weeks.

I am sure they will enjoy the scene as much as we, the cool kids. The show is trying to be interesting. I'll give them that. Melissa Ordway would work better as a Kimberly Simms-Mindy Lewis type instead of Gina Roma 2.0.
