Put on a fûcking shirt, Finn, when you’re talking to a woman who’s not your wife and you’re not at the beach.

Stefanos doesn’t seem very bright, even by tennis standards.

I can’t with Kei cruising, then losing focus and dropping these sets to scrubs in the early rounds. It’s like clockwork.

Again, Amelia Heinle and Christel Khalil are good together. But Victoria and Lily tussling over anything Billy-related is annoying.

It’s a shame because Emily O’Brien is great and was initially great in this role. But everything happened in her story and it came to what? We compared Abby accidentally throwing a “pregnant” Gwen down the stairs to Reva/Annie on GL. The latter story led to a long murder trial and had implications throughout Springfield. Abby/Gwen led to what? Abby leaving town? Gwen being blackmailed by a doctor who was swiftly killed off? Gwen killed a pillar of DAYS history (Laura) for what? None of this sh!t matters, which is one huge reason why I can’t get into this show.

After a break-up last year, this has been in heavy rotation.- The View
Gretchen Carlson, Condoleezza Rice, Carly Fiorina, and S.E. Cupp are among the guest co-hosts who’ll step in for the departed Meghan McCain. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/the-view-taking-a-little-time-to-replace-meghan-mccain-gretchen-carlson-condoleezza-rice-among-guest-hosts-1235005114/- Billboard Charts
“Stay” by the kid LAROI and Justin Bieber holds off Ed Sheeran to staaaaay at No. 1 for a fourth week. Interestingly, even though it’s a collab, it’s Bieber’s longest-running No. 1 as a lead artist (he’s a featured artist on “Despacito”). The top 10 feels so stagnant in this era. Not a ton of turnover, so things like “Levitating” and “Blinding Lights” can stick around the upper reaches of the Hot 100 for a better part of a year or more.- The Tennis Thread
I wonder how much longer Feliciano Lopez will play singles. He could go the Karlovic route, but I assume he could be a more viable doubles specialist.- DAYS: Matthew Ashford off contract
Very interesting. I was going to comment that he actually looked engaged today. He previously seemed so stiff, as if he were struggling with physical discomfort.- The Tennis Thread
Didn’t expect her to go down to a rusty Halep like that. I guess the second set was tight.- Y&R August 2021 Discussion Thread
Which is totally true. For me, at least, those earlier eras were beyond missable. I actively avoided them at points because if I tuned in, I might vomit lol. To say something nice: I like Stafford and Courtney Hope together (today they felt evenly matched and played well off of each other). I just wish their characters’ feud was grounded in something more real.- Y&R August 2021 Discussion Thread
That’s a hard one for me. Do I prefer a lazy, phoned-in era like JG’s current tenure or an actively repulsive one that desecrated the foundations of the show (IMO, like most of the previous regimes since the early to mid-2000s, especially LML’s, MAB’s, and Pratt’s)? Even if those eras had good performances from time to time and a few well-executed moments? Hard call. To me, both creative perspectives have the same roots, which is why Steve Kent and his ilk need to get the steppin.’- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Mia is so forced. She doesn’t really know how to slot in this group, but wants to secure her role with quirkiness and antics. I largely agree about Wendy, but wouldn’t be shocked if there was some fire under all that smoke. You don’t play with Nigerian families. Especially considering that Wendy and her husband’s marriage already has that added hitch of her in-laws’ disapproval.- The Tennis Thread
6-0, 6-2 was the final score.- Daily Hotness
