And they did it, obviously, to make us care about him, since it was clear to us that we didn't. I just wish this show would focus on the case of the week and skip the "personal life" stories. They just don't work in the L&O-verse.

Hollywood Sexual Harrasment/Assault Thread
"Hey, man, that's just the process!" The process? Of being what? An asshat, who abuses his colleagues on and off the set? I'm sorry, but nothing that I've read about Method acting or any other style of acting suggests mistreating your fellow actors. Excusing that type of misbehavior as just some kind of process is complete b.s. You, as an actor, can struggle with bringing material to life and still be a gentleman and still ensure a safe working environment.

Re: Judy Woodruff's tweet -- I've long suspected that the Russians' involvement in our last election went way deeper than merely influencing potential voters on social media and the like; that, in fact, they might have tampered with the votes themselves. I mean, not only does he win on the slimmest of margins BUT he wins in the exact same places that pundits said said he would need to win BEFORE the election. I've heard pundits call it pretty close before, but not THAT close.

Just watched the bloated-as-hell two-hour season finale. PLEASE tell me "ADA Strike Back," as he is known elsewhere, is not coming back. I mean, when they have to turn the whole show into an action flick JUST to keep him in his dramatic wheelhouse, it's clear he's a bad fit.

Trump's people insinuated that the Obamas left behind cockroaches and jheri curl stains; and now, we have the WH literally sinking under that man's feet. Tit, meet tat.

Not to knock Judith Chapman, but given what I've read of the character in ATWT's histories, I think Kathleen Turner would have made for an interesting Natalie Bannon Hughes.

I'm probably dead wrong about this, but I feel like he's doing this, either for the attention or because he's not well mentally. Or worse.

I read once that Shaw was HW "in name only," and that it was actually Leah Laiman and Thom Racina who handled those duties.

If he ever leaves office (and I say "if," because I fear he just might get his wish to remain President for life), he will leave not just this nation in shambles, but the entire executive branch of government in shambles as well.

Mostly because, his take on Kevin was so different and so wrong from what we had been used to. I guess you could say he was harkening back to Lee Patterson and his Joe Riley, except 1) I doubt anyone (except Erika Slezak) knew, remembered or cared who Joe Riley was; and 2) I don't recall Joe ever being such a PITA.

And yet, she put the kibosh on Matt and Donna's promising "Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone" story on ANOTHER WORLD, and similarly killed a romance between GH's Scott and Bobbie (at least, I THINK it was Scott and Bobbie), because "no one wants to see old people kissing." ML: "Catherine Hickland, a much-loved, five-soap vet who [...] never had a suds role worthy of her talent." Khan: With all due respect, Mr. Logan, this CAPITOL fan wants you to go fug yourself. And Tim Gibbs' "older, razor's-edge" take on Kevin Buchanan was far, far from being "dramatically invaluable." In fact, it just might have helped render that character utterly useless.

Thank God this isn't "Diagnosis: Murder." Otherwise, it'd be a reunion of TV cops. And he shows even less on SVU. Winchester is like the primetime version of "hair model." He's handsome, and his body is hot, but beyond a "Philip Winchester" calendar, I see no real use for him. By the way: I also saw no real use for Brooke Shields and her arc. Seriously, why must Mariska keep trying to make Noah drama happen? It makes no sense for Olivia to be a single mother, and it contributes NOTHING to this show, especially since we've got enough of "single girl juggling motherhood with career" with Amanda Rollins. Noah could die in some tragedy and I would not shed any tears.

Probably because it didn't include a "Whites Only" clause. No matter how many inroads progressives make, Oklahoma will remain, for many, a narrow-minded place to live. By the way: Mary Failin also signed HB 2932, which will require Medicaid recipients to work at least 20 hours per week and/or receive job training, or else lose their benefits. Some will be exempt, I guess, but think about it: if Oklahoma's job market is basically [!@#$%^&*], then that means 1) those who aren't exempt will have difficulties finding work (and sorry, but Walmart can't hire everybody); and 2) they will receive training for jobs that are probably not here. Oh, she also refused to combine Oklahoma Native Americans Day with Columbus Day, because, well, she's white. Not that you asked, but...here's a link to an article summing up our state's legislative season. Seriously, this state is such an embarrassment. https://www.thelostogle.com/2018/05/08/remembering-the-lowlights-from-the-2018-oklahoma-legislative-session/#more-79309

All Trump and his cronies care about is grabbing what's theirs (and not theirs), right now.
