Are you sure that's a picture of Dagne Crane, @slick jones? Because, she looks an awful lot like Lana Turner's daughter to me.

"Whistleblower"? Could we find a better moniker for the whistleblower than "Whistleblower"? "Deep Throat" is taken, of course, so what about..."Dark Horse"? #shrugs

You know what? I have to take back what I've said before. As I see it now, the House has no choice BUT to pursue impeachment charges against Trump. We've let too much slide already. If we do the same with the Ukrainian mess, then we can officially throw the Constitution in the garbage can (where it probably belongs anyway). Part of me believes this is merely a tactic on their part to force Trump to comply with the investigation(s). Of course, THAT would imply they still operate under the assumption that he is a man who will give in when cornered. Maybe he will, and maybe he won't, but how terrifying is it that, when it comes to Trump, we just don't know how he'll respond? Moreover, I can't help but wonder if this is, in some way, a reaction to what has happened in the UK, with their Supreme Court ruling that Boris Johnson was being purposely deceitful when he prorogued Parliament in order to protect his "Deal or No Deal" Brexit agenda. I mean, it's terrible optics for this country that the UK can do to THEIR leader, with no qualms, what we can't seem to do to ours. Let's be honest: if the Democrats lose a lot of seats they picked up in the last election, it won't be because they failed to impeach the president. It'll be because of the far left and how they have fostered divisiveness among the entire Democratic Party. I think most Democratic voters are intelligent enough to know that we face, at best, an uphill battle in impeaching Trump. We KNOW that ANY articles of impeachment are going to die the minute they hit the Senate floor. If anything, it COULD be what we need to mobilize the base into retaking the Senate. Because -- and this is just my opinion -- if and when we DO retake it, then, and only then, can we talk seriously about matters like impeaching B**** K********. So, he DID back down, then? Of course, we know by now that his SAYING there was no collusion doesn't mean there actually wasn't. Ergo, I'mma wait to see whether he actually releases the transcripts; what, if anything, those transcripts reveal (that is, if we are allowed to see them at all); and what the Dems will have to say about them once they've had the chance to review them.

I stand by what I've said in the past about impeaching Trump: the right idea, but with a Republican majority in the Senate, impossible to pull off. I applaud the youths' (and everyone else's) efforts to reverse climate change. Unfortunately, as long as we have a significant amount of people who refuse even to READ the science, I'm afraid it's all for naught.

CW: Walker, Texas Ranger reboot
Let's hope the reboot won't be as jingoistic as the original series. Between Chuck Norris' painful acting style and the EXTREME conservatism that ran amuck, "Walker" was often difficult to watch.

ALL: They Almost Became
Did they even MENTION Kit/Christine again once she'd left PV? Oh, Lord, I forgot all about Raquel. The first actress who played her, Carolyn Neff, was green as hell; and the second actress, Ara Celi, was just boring. I was so glad when they finally wrote her off, lol.

Agree! If you weren't into the San Cristobal or the Santos mafia, you were basically SOL. To me, Bruce S. Barry's departure after decades as GL's senior director was the real nail in the coffin. That's because you didn't have a network or sponsor pushing Mendorra the way P&G/MADD was clearly pushing San Cristobal.

Such a bizarre time for AMC. Not only did we have Camille and Lee Hawkins -- the latter of whom gave Hayley a tattoo with a rusty needle, right? -- we also had Mateo's janky psychic visions. I think the only good thing to come from that period was the beginning of Stuart and Marian's romance (which began, oddly enough, with Marian sleeping with who she thought was Adam).

ALL: They Almost Became
Kin Shriner as Pierce would have made sense since Pierce began as a love interest for Robin Mattson's Janet. Otherwise, it would have been a real WTF, because Kin Shriner is almost nothing like what Pierce became.

Once again, it's ironic how the Republicans love to label Democrats as being "snowflakes," yet become defensive and petulant at the slightest bit of criticism tossed their way.

She's also very immature, which makes me think Mr. and Mrs. McCain gave that girl absolutely zero home training (tm Ricki Lake and every other talk show from the '90's).

One down, 497 more to go. Not that this is news to anyone with even half a brain, but Trump is being "indecisive" about a lot of things, because all he had going into the WH was "BUILD! THAT! WALL!" and paying back Obama for making fun of him. The emperor truly has no clothes.

As it is, it'll take the next generation and the one after that to sort through the messes he and his team have dumped in their laps already. Rudy Ruettiger wasn't that dumb.

Based on my limited amount of knowledge about these types of things, it seems to me that the far left's attitude is, "Let it all burn to the ground, so we can build anew (and maybe get it right this time)." Which is a fine idea...IN THEORY. But, in order for this phoenix called the United States of America rise from its ashes, I would think there needed to be enough there worth saving. My fear is that, if we let this country burn as much as the far right and far left want it to, we'll be left with less than nothing. We'll basically have to rip up the Declaration of Independence AND the Constitution and start all over -- and given the temperature of this country right now, especially among those hate-mongering Trumpers, I'm not sure I want for that to happen.

Are you talking about the Coopers, or the retro-fitted Bauers? In retrospect, it just seemed silly to introduce this branch of the Bauer family tree we had never heard of before, when simply bringing back Hope, Mike, or even back-from-the-dead Hillary would have sufficed. If anything, having more Bauers on the canvas to interact with might have helped the audience accept Johnny, Lacey and their parents more.
