  1. Ruh roh. Bernie's Bros ain't gonna like this news: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/02/us/politics/bernie-sanders-health.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage
  2. Funny how Republicans (and my own mother) love to interpret Hillary Clinton's every move as a sign of Parkinson's or other neurological disorder, yet Trump's own physical movements and even speech mirror just about every Patient of the Week's on "House." (No, Foreman, this ain't lupus either.)
  3. I don't see how, though. Again, I don't think the Senate will vote to remove him from office. I think the GOP will continue to defend him, because they are too afraid to do anything to upset their base. The House could vote to impeach him -- which they should -- but what does that truly mean, if he remains in office? IMO, voting him out next year is the only true recourse we have. That way, with him out of the WH, SDNY and whoever else can move forward in prosecuting him. (Provided, of course, he can't be pardoned for his crimes at the state level). And we can get on with the business of healing this country. The big question, though, is what ELSE is he gonna do in the meantime? And, God forbid, what happens if we CAN'T vote him out next year, but instead we're stuck with him until 2024 (and maybe beyond)?
  4. They KNOW the man they work for is batshit crazy. Yet, because they pride party over everything else, including the safety and stability of the people they have been sworn to protect, they sweep it all under the rug and pretend everything's fine. It's because of that kind of enabling and codependency that we are on the track we are now. People make fun of the fact that Elizabeth Warren seemingly has plans for addressing everything. However, if she's willing to come into office with solutions, and then figure out something else if those solutions don't yield the best results, then what's the problem? At least she HAS plans. What does Trump have, besides a severe psychological disorder? Of course, they aren't defying Pompeo, because they value this country. They're defying him, because they hope cooperating will keep them from being prosecuted as well. But, you know, whatever works.
  5. And you better believe their vitriol toward Meghan is due, at least in part, to the color of her skin.
  6. Oh, hell, a Chia Pet could have blown Jensen Buchanan off the screen.

  8. Russia. Ukraine. Australia. Italy. China AND North Korea. Across the globe, the Trump administration is shredding the [!@#$%^&*] out of our foreign policies in order to secure re-election and hurt his political rivals. If you can't get on board with impeachment by now, you are officially a lost cause. That reminds me of the "Tell Us What You Think" hotline they used to run at the end of every GL episode. Ukraine's new PM probably wishes he had stayed in comedy at this point.
  9. The House has subpoenaed Rudy's records: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/30/us/politics/impeach-giuliani-subpoena.html?action=click&module=Top Stories&pgtype=Homepage
  10. Vogel is yet another opportunist, who thought his "hot Biden scoop" could have been the next "BUT HER EMAILS!" and now wants to ride the impeachment bandwagon to celebrity and notoriety. The NYT should kick his ass over to Fox News and be done with him.
  11. Other people would be banned from social media websites for fomenting civil violence. IJS. At least Donald Trump is trying to keep us from seeing what's on his tax returns. Iris on AW couldn't be bothered, and that's how Cass, Donna and Rachel found out SHE was "The Chief"! (Funny how people always bring up AW when there's s**t going down in the WH. Anyways.) Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) Resigns House Seat, Expected to Plead Guilty to Insider Trading Charges: https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/09/30/rep-chris-collins-expected-plead-guilty-insider-trading-case/ Collins, according to the article, was Trump's first Congressional supporter. It never fails to amuse me how the Republicans can look down their noses at the Democrats even when their hands are just as dirty than theirs, if not dirtier.

  13. IDK whether to believe him, but you know what? I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there ARE more WB's waiting in the wings. For some, odd reason, this "affair" keeps growing...and growing...and growing.
  14. I'd watch CNN only for the documentaries -- and even those aren't very good.
  15. Should I...? Oh, hell, why not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4d8PHDG4yE And I love how exasperated De Niro is by the end of that clip, like "Don't get me started!".
  16. Agree. People from the left and far-left have stayed begging for impeachment proceedings to begin. Until the Ukraine mess, however, Pelosi was able to fend them off by saying (and she was right) that they couldn't pursue impeachment against Trump unless they had hard and clear evidence that he was abusing his powers; evidence which the Mueller Report couldn't really provide. (Evidence of wrongdoing on his part IS in the report, but good luck getting your average constituent to see what it is and where to find it). Otherwise, it really would have looked as if the House Democrats were performing a witch hunt. Yes, folks, THIS [!@#$%^&*] again: https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/state-dept-intensifies-email-probe-of-hillary-clintons-former-aides/2019/09/28/9f15497e-e1f2-11e9-8dc8-498eabc129a0_story.html
  17. Oh, this should be fun to watch! https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2019/09/28/amateur-pro-trump-sleuths-scramble-unmask-whistleblower-your-president-has-asked-your-help/
  18. Which was so dumb. Bringing back Steve from the dead...just to kill him off again? If David Canary wasn't working out, either recast or just let Steve leave town until you DO find someone who could play the part well!
  19. Also, put it in perspective: there's a HUGE difference between lying under oath about receiving blow jobs from government clerks, and using your powers of office, as president, to extort a foreign nation into digging up dirt on your political rivals. One could have far-reaching consequences in terms of foreign affairs if allow to go unchecked. The other just means you're sleeping on the couch for the time being. Another reason why, yes, I do agree IN THEORY with impeaching B**** K******** as well. (He was on Kenneth Starr's "illustrious" team and supposedly one of the chief writers of The Starr Report). What comes around GOES around, Playa Playa! But, like I said, as much as I admire Kamala Harris for continuing the fight (as well as the narrative in my head of B**** being haunted by Kamala's face everywhere), I feel like we need to let that rest (for now). I'm good with his knowing in the back of his mind that impeachment is ALWAYS a possibility and NEVER entirely off the table.
  20. "PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT" is precisely how I intend to "KEEP AMERICA GREAT." The Senate is likely to kill any chances of his being removed from office, but if the House does its' job properly and votes to impeach him, then I hope Trump is reminded of their decision Every. Single. Day. for as long as he remains in office.
  21. Elizabeth Warren is a born-and-bred Okie; and one trait that most Okies share, regardless of political affiliations, is our ability to shove aside rhetoric and niceties and just TALK to people -- directly, with no muss or fuss -- about what we think, feel and believe. Live in Oklahoma long enough -- as I have, my entire life -- and you learn that the more five dollar words you use, the less chance you have of getting others to see your point of view. Now, if we could just get our heads out of our asses about gun control, reproductive rights and climate change....
  22. And if that doesn't pan out? Well, that's why God invented girl gangs, dark alleys and blunt, metal objects. So, now the WH is telling the truth about everything? LOL! This really IS "Iyanla Fix My Gov't"! (...or it's a total setup, and we shouldn't fall for it.)
  23. The New York Times: "When All Else Fails, Blame Obama."
  24. I love you to the Popeye's and back, Kamala, but...nah, gurl. Gotta let that wound heal.
