  1. You know, I STILL wonder why Breyer has changed his mind about retiring, especially when his retirement will not have any impact on SCOTUS' current ideological makeup.
  2. Perhaps. But hearing that theme song always felt oddly comforting to me, even though I wasn't a huge GH fan. If anything, I thought Wendy Riche just needed to keep "Autumn Breeze" (or maybe have a new recording of it) and instead film a new opening, with a new ambulance whizzing by the hospital, because the sequence that WAS there looked worn-out as hell.
  3. As the product of what I consider to have been an interracial marriage - my mother is half-Black, half-Muscogee (Creek) Indian; my father was half-Indian, half-Chinese - I find Sen. Braun's comments to be appalling, and terrifying.
  4. Julie (or Julia) Montgomery also played a Diane Chambers act-a-like in a final season episode of "Cheers," and she was the victim in an episode (co-starring J. Eddie Peck and Leslie Nielsen) of "Murder, She Wrote," which taught us all a VERY valuable lesson: NEVER ask Julie Montgomery to play a drunk scene.
  5. Yeah, the only alteration made during that time was when they changed the theme to "Autumn Breeze," which will always be my favorite GH theme song, btw.
  6. She played Betty Childs, who was Ted McGinley's character's love interest, until Robert Carradine's character raped her - yes, I said raped her - at the Greek Games while dressed in a Darth Vader costume (which was either Ted McGinley's character's, or one like it, I can't remember anymore). Yep, here it is. Remember, she (Betty) has no idea it's not Stan under that mask -- and afterward, when Lewis DOES take off his mask, she's surprised, but she also says he was "wonderful" and asks him to meet her after the pep rally:
  7. To impregnate her with a demon spawn? I'm only guessing.
  8. Nikki calling Diane a "cheap [...] tramp [...] in need of a life" is REALLY the pot calling the kettle black.
  9. "Oh, darling, I'm so sorry I wasn't there for your unnecessary exorcism yesterday."
  10. You've never seen "Revenge of the Nerds"?
  11. Voiceover Guy: "This is gettin' GOOOD." Who died and made YOU Clarence?
  12. Agree. How 'bout we get rid of Diane AND Phyllis?
  13. I know you're not supposed to speak ill of the dead, but Hogan Sheffer was a miserable son of a bitch whose ass couldn't have written a halfway decent story if he had tried.
  14. Exactly. And even if they had, we all had been at that rodeo enough times to know that TPTB would have just resurrected them later. "It's DAYS -- Just Go With It!".
  15. Every time I see her, I can't shake my memories of her on LOVING.
  16. Was the ambulance supposed to be moving when he threw her out of it?
  17. Am I crazy or did we not, in fact, learn years ago how AD was hated BTS at Y&R?
  18. The way HW's come and go at DAYS, it's amazing anyone can keep straight who wrote what and when, lol.
  19. Agree. He definitely should be there for Chance, for Abby and for little Dominic Abbott Newman Winters Horton Brady Buchanan Wolek Kendall McCleary Hathaway Chancellor.
