  1. I don't think Pamela Sue Martin made a mistake by leaving either. Fallon was so watered down by the time she left. She became almost insufferable to me.
  2. I remember some magazine giving Jeff Beldner credit - along with Hal Corley, Frederick Johnson and Michelle Patrick - for a couple of the better '90's stories on AMC.
  3. I have to give Al Corley credit for possessing that much bravery. Even today, many actors are afraid of "playing gay" out of fear of what that could do to their careers. God knows Jack Coleman never appeared comfortable with it, lol.
  4. I think you have to credit Frank Salisbury for making Mason the interesting character that he was. IMO, Salisbury's work on other soaps could approach poetry, and poetry was right up Mason Capwell's alley.
  5. I agree, @j swift. I consider Henry Slesar's work on CAPITOL to be its' best, with Peggy O'Shea's work a close second.
  6. He reminds me of Dominick Dunne.
  7. I had enough of "Crazy Sharon" to last me a lifetime, lol.
  8. That makes sense, @Soaplovers. I think the producers should have addressed that issue, too. Val had been through every parent's worst nightmare. Getting the twins back seemed to put a nice bow on everything, but it really shouldn't have. We should've seen Val struggling even after getting Betsy and Bobby back. Val should've been paranoid about losing them again to the point where she refuses to leave the house without them or have them sleep in another bedroom. And Ben should've been beside himself (again) over how to handle the situation. Of course, being the cruel bastard that I am, I would've had Ben convince Val to leave the twins at home with Lilimae or one of Karen's sons for an evening out with Mack and Karen, only to have Ben and Val return home that night to discover that the twins have been abducted yet again.
  9. Douglas Sheehan was great with Joan Van Ark, but Val could be so damn exhausting, lol. JVA blamed the Lechowicks for turning Val into the "village idiot," but I think the character assassination, for lack of a better term, had happened long before.
  10. I agree, lol. I'm not suggesting that NLG isn't entitled to her opinions. However, if we have learned anything about social media, it's that anything someone puts out there can and will be misconstrued by the general public. That's true, not just for celebrities, but for "everyday folks," too.
  11. I agree. I've been a fan of NLG's since SANTA BARBARA. I'll always BE a fan of NLG's, too, no matter what. But she should've tweeted "thoughts and prayers" for everyone involved in the accident and then left it at that.
  12. Well, we know this much:
  13. Contestant: "Dukes of Hazzard"?
  14. Me, too. This is not something GH can just sweep under the proverbial rug.
  15. Didn't PFS accuse DAYS of using her long-term story projections even after she had left the show?
  16. I was telling a coworker about this show after she had binge-watched "Columbo" for the first time and she was apoplectic, lol. First of all, it made no sense for Mrs. Columbo, who had been an off-screen character up to that point, to suddenly be solving whodunits like her husband, when nothing that Columbo ever said about her suggested she was the sleuthing type. Second, Kate Mulgrew is a lovely actress, but she simply looked too young to be Columbo's wife. Daughter, or daughter-in-law? Maybe. Wife? No.
  17. Yeah, he's definitely new to the game, lol.
  18. No, I remember Sam Behrens as Gregory on SUNSET BEACH. But I think (although I can't be sure) that Douglas Sheehan did a one-or-two-day role on PASSIONS.
  19. There are so many things I would have done differently had I been Leonard Katzman. Bobby would have been killed off at the end of the miniseries. Pamela would have taken a firmer hand in fighting J.R. John Ross would have been born female. Vanessa would have been Black (and James would have been half-Black). J.R. would have shot himself (but framed Pamela for it). The list goes on.
  20. Didn't he pop up briefly on PASSIONS?
  21. I thought Doug Sheehan had such an easy chemistry with the rest of the cast. It was really a shame that they couldn't have held onto him.
