  1. Oh yes definitely, the Potomac reunion is bringing it. The reunion definitely showcases that the OG's (and yes, I'll even include Robyn) know how to play the game and keep this little world turnin'. Karen and Gizelle throw shade and digs at one another, but a visceral hatred between them simply does not exist. Yes, it got a little too dark earlier this season, certainly moreso than in previous seasons, but their exchanges on last night's episode shows they know when to pull back and lighten up. And hey, they can still have fun together. They could very well have a "make-up-and-be-BFF's" season next year, to the shock and annoyance of the rest of the cast. I say go for it. Ashley continues to sweep the floor with Candy's messy ass without breaking a sweat. The only sweat she's breaking is getting that post-baby hot mama body back in top form. Well done, Ashley. I know it's a mixed back here on this board regarding Ashley, but she's always been a favorite of mine. Her and The Grande Dame's friendship/understanding is always a highlight for me. Candaice. Girl, when even the frick 'n frack team of Gizelle and Robyn are calling you out and refusing to co-sign anything you're spewing out, you in danger gurl. She just doesn't get it and I'm not here to watch any additional "journey" she needs to go through to see the light. Askale. Yeah, you could've stayed home. Wendy doesn't sit right with me. Yes, she makes good points in some respects, but makes no sense in others. She really has no sense of herself, and again, not sure I wanna sit around and watch her "journey" either. Next season is already S7, and dare I say I'm ready for an OG to return, and by OG I mean Monique (just like I consider Kandi an OG of ATL). As I said at the onset of this season, the 4 vets know how to play the game, but the newer women are having trouble navigating and look a mess.
  2. LOL… A for effort, but the morphing effect of 1995 was way better. Someone PLEASE alter the voice adapter. The devil sounds like RuPaul.
  3. God bless her... LOL
  4. LOL! We need to make a list here of the thirstiest ex-housewives desperate to get back on their respective shows. We have Teddi and Brandi from RHOBH for starters...
  5. Carter sure falls in love quickly. I mean, that's how ALL new romances begin on B&B, but this is the 3rd woman he's getting all lovey-dovey over in one year.
  6. Can't believe I'm gonna defend the cloning storyline, but GL's ratings stayed up during the clone saga (even beating AMC and ATWT for weeks in the summer of '98) and they fell out literally the week AFTER the clone died and Zimmer/Newman were off the canvas for 3 weeks.
  7. I swear, Salem is lit by a huge full moon at night. Every night. Even indoors. It's weird. Carmine is the lovechild of a Baldwin brother and a Culkin kid.
  8. Agreed 100% Rest the bitch for a good year. At least.
  9. Agreed! So much was left on the cutting room floor last year. One hour alone on Monique's binder would've been fabulous. This season was good, but not epic like last year. However, so far when it comes to RHOBH, the ratings and stayed high and steady. Has Part 3's numbers been released yet? I could see last night's numbers dropping.
  10. Wow, really? Didn't know there was friction in the family I could never see La Lucci joining a reality TV show like this. Re: Housewives fatigue. Yes, the RHOBH reunion has been ho-hum. So much out of Erika's mouth is B.S. and her stooges eat up every drop. They easily could've made it a 3-parter and tighten up the fluff pieces.
  11. Gasp! Are you insinuating Peter Reckell wasn't very good looking? :::clutches pearls::: I know plenty o' women and gay men who will beg to differ
  12. Same people who burglarized Kyle? Wonder if they'll hit up Erika next... A new clever way to hide assets. Sorry to sound unsympathetic, but why do I always think there's more to the story with this woman?
  13. I can recall a couple times when MarDevil of 1995 teleported. Once when Celeste was in a panic driving her car and suddenly MarDevil popped up in the passenger seat next to her. The other time was when Caroline was in Marlena's bedroom and went downstairs (also in a panic, at one point it looked like she was contemplating jumping over the stair balcony; a funny acting choice of Peggy McCay) towards the front door and suddenly there's MarDevil!
  14. Dang, another Billie Reed takes a role from Hunter Tylo 😂 Yeah, this is random, but *so* B&B. If you’re not lifers like KKL and McCook, your role will be recast, and likely with a younger version.
  15. For sure, Gizelle is a necessary evil on Potomac, much like NYC's Ramona; much like Tamra was (and should still be?) on OC. And hell, I'll even say Kyle on Beverly Hills because we know we'll never get rid of her and she's not flat out nasty like Rinna.
  16. My only guess about Drew is that she's a familar face, and with vets Porsha and Cynthia gone, they wanted to keep someone slightly familiar, plus keep the cast a healthier number. Clearly having only 5 main castmembers just doesn't work for Housewives shows anymore. Side Note: I enjoy Sheree and her grand delusions, but her return (again) feels like a second string backup plan. She way she exited after season 10 was so lackluster. And we know she doesn't hold genuine friendships with any of 'em. But we'll see what she can bring.
  17. Part 2 of RHOBH reunion was good, but it also had a lot of filler that would've ordinarily been left on the cutting room floor had they not spread this over four episodes. Crystal's housekeeper was a non-factor, and holy hell did they spend A LOT of unnecessary time talking about Scott Disick! Like geez, is he joining the show next season? The episode was lighter and mostly enjoyable, but you could tell they were stretching out the time.
  18. Actually, those scenes were from early 1993 when John & Marlena had sex on the Titan conference room table. It aired in primetime as a one hour special called "Night Sins," which aired before that year's Soap Opera Awards. DAYS did this 3 years in a row, with '92's "One Stormy Night" and '94's "Winter Heat."
  19. Agreed, there needed to be buildup. The original was done so much better. I knew things would be told more quickly now, but already there's a big piece that doesn't make sense.... in the original tale, there'd be chunks of time Marlena couldn't account for (when the devil was controlling her), and when she was back in control of her mind/body, she had no recollection of anything and was completely confused. This time around, she's able to recall what happened when the devil was in her or communicating to her, yet she does nothing to get help. Instead, she's taking matters into her own hands by trying to save Doug or trying to get Ben not to procreate. If she's somehow aware that the devil is gaining grip on her, wouldn't she tell John right away or hightail it to St. Lukes for the priest to perform an emergency ritual? It just doesn't make sense that non-possessed Marlena realizes the devil is working her, yet she still continues to do his bidding.
  20. LOL Oh, Wendy.... Meanwhile, Robyn is the one woman who gives us NOTHING. Some things never change. What baby weight? Ashley be looking great!
  21. The original possession storyline played out from November 1994 through July 1995. Not every day is gonna be pea soup and levitation...
  22. There's no depths Rinna won't sink to. Get her Garcelle.
  23. Yes, I loved how they included the original 1993 scores for the Night Sins flashbacks. I couldn't help but notice though in the last couple episodes, there are hints of old-school 1995 possession cues reimagined in a couple scenes. I'm crossing my fingers they'll eventually use the old ones altogether. I also hope they adjust MarDevil's new drag queen voice to make it sound more gruff, deeper, and menacing.
  24. I thought the same thing. How deserving.
