-- I was ok with the dream fake out, but Naomi should not have opened the door to that motel room without knowing who was on the other side. She and Jacob are both clueless. -- Eva still has no boundaries when her mother, which means she continues to enable her. -- That talk with naked Izaiah and all the Eva wedding stuff? Leslie is certifiable. -- Izaiah looks really good without clothes, but I still don't feel it between him and Eva. -- I have no problem with Madison and Chelsea planning a wedding a year+ in advance. That's realistic. However, it's not exactly soap gold. As others have pointed out, we need some big things to happen. -- Kial and Carlton act like fighting teenagers, but Nicole is no better. I'm sorry, there's no adult in the room.

🤣I think MVJ would do that to keep him.

It could, but there is no way MVJ is getting rid of him. I don't think she sees any end date for the character.

You'll get pushback from posters who think everything is brilliant, from breakdowns to scripts to sets to acting to plotting and pacing, but you're correct about all of it. I enjoy the show, but there are problems. I point them out on other shows, and I'm not going to pretend BTG is somehow doing everything right. "No fallout" is a huge problem, and I'm just not a fan of dangling unfinished storylines and returning to them 6 months later. I expect to see Laura for a couple episodes every 3 months. I wouldn't be surprised if Allison walks back in, or even Doug. MVJ seems to be infatuated with Jon Lindstrom, so I guess Joey will continue to crime all over town and control all the POC. Movement is past due on the Hayley story, as well as whatever is going on with Vanessa. Meanwhile, new characters are added all over the place. Are we heading for cast bloat like at GH?

That was pretty clear to me. Can't disagree with any of that. The occupations weren't thought through properly, and nothing has been done to rectify any of it since the show started. The sets problem is worse than it was in the first 6 months. The airport mall coffee shop appeared multiple times on Thursday and Friday to the point of ridiculousness. Characters leave eating establishments and parties and end up there for coffee? Where they run into other characters? I can't believe this. It's worse than Crimson Lights on Y&R, because at least that's a full set and doesn't look like some corner location that no business owner would want. Last week we got Eva sitting in Orphey Gene's 4 days in a row because they had nowhere else to put her. Naomi has no office so she has her laptop open there all the time -- with a meal right next to her. It doesn't work for me. Joey was given a home set. Why? I'd rather they upgrade that backroom casino mess. But at least the furniture is moved every time we see Martin and Smitty's place depending on who's visiting and how the conversation goes. Those wingback chairs are constantly on the move, even if they never face the fireplace that is always blocked.

What a mess the entire episode was. -- You mean to tell me Katie and Bill never talked to Eric ALL WEEK about his designs, who owns them, his contract, or anything else? -- All those extras -- for what? Was this supposed to be some special unveiling? Why would those influencers be there? -- Those Eric-designed gowns were beyond basic. -- Brooke and Ridge are upset about LOGAN. So what do they do? Show up and cause a spectacle. NONE of it makes sense.

-- Brook Lynn and Chase obsessing over this baby is already enough for me. And are they getting BL's wardrobe from QVC? -- Kirsten Storms looks really good and healthy, but seems like they still allow her to choose her outfits. Big mistake. -- These Aunt Stella appearances are beyond parody at this point. Wash, rinse, repeat. And why is that pregnancy test box still in her purse? -- Sonny mentoring Gio is GAG ME material.

-- Watching Jacob berate Grayson on the elevator over Ashley actually had me LOL. Talk about cosplaying an undercover cop. -- Martin works as a member if the House. Talk about him running for president was ridiculous and so is this talk of a Senate run. Why can't this show be satisfied with stories that seem realistic rather than punching too high? They did the same thing with Anita being an EGOT instead of excelling in one or two disciplines. -- Are we supposed to warm up to Joey after hearing about his past? Not working for me. -- I'm surprised the show doesn't offer a website for purchase of the ChelseaKat bags. Is it because they think their viewers are smart enough to find the site on their own? The purses aren't cheap -- the Anita Baby bag is $149. -- I'm not sure why we got Naomi and Jacob meeting up for sex. Just makes him seem even more careless as an undercover cop.

You didn't miss a thing. Here's a story you didn't need: I was typing my last post above as I watched. Then CBS News broke in. Later, I watched the rest on the CBS website. There was nothing else to add to my post. Dylan and Will kissed again -- she's still a ho pretending she's sweet and innocent -- and she left Will to go to her room. Then she started at him from afar, pretending she's in some angst-filled teenage romance. Brooke and Katie hurled more insults at each other. That's it.

I agree with this, but TBF, playing her that way works better when you're 40 years younger.

Lots of great comments here about Maxie, Spinelli, and Lucy, as well as on Deception and Crimson. I will say it can't be easy writing for multiple main characters who choose to live out of state and across the country. Even with block scheduling, that has to impact what we see.

The truth is that she out acted Lauren Buglioli in those scenes. Her Vanessa is just not good at all when emotion and vulnerability is called for.

Leslie has Bill Gates money, it seems. I think it goes too far. Also, while I don't mind Leslie flirting with other guys -- and even all of the guys -- I wish she didn't slobber over them and embarrass herself. I don't like Leslie written as this self-unaware.

-- Steffy says Dylan has a "powerful presence." What the hell am I watching? -- it's long past sundown. It's dark outside. Why are Steffy and Electra still at work? -- Brooke calls herself "resilient." Is that a reference to her begging Ridge to take her back over and over and over?

-- I agree that Timon has a no shirtless clause. He looks much better in suits. -- Anita should have an assistant, and I don't mean Kat. These people are wealthy. If she can get a private room for chemo, she should have an assistant. -- Religion on soaps is fine, but what they're doing to Mona is a complete reset of the character. -- Fully agree about seeing the clinic and Leslie's shouse. Not seeing the dedication for the clinic was a miss. There was drama to be played there. The Dupree mansion is supposed to be enormous, right? Kat is getting her own wing. Yet Leslie's place is being built in what sounds like the Dupree back yard. -- I'm no Tomas fan, but he's exactly right that just should have talked to him about moving to Vernon and Anita's. -- I'm ok with Tomas calling Kat "mi amor," but twice in one episode? -- Deanna's takedown of Vanessa was great, and so deserved. -- Vanessa worked so hard to hide her relationship with Joey from Deanna, so she kisses him in plain sight? Uh....ok. -- Nicole had words of wisdom for Vanessa about how Deanna would learn and grow and come around. I wish she had some words of wisdom for her friend who's screwing the town mobster. -- Yes, Donnell all grieve differently. We all don't take up with the biggest criminal in town while running an escort service, though. -- Vanessa is so upset, yet she can't shed a single tear over any of this. -- Lauren Buglioli needs to pull back on using that hitch in her voice during every emotional line of dialogue. -- No Samantha at Uptown was a big miss. So was no Derek.

Donnell tried REALLY hard not to break when Deanna read Vanessa for filth and told her (about Joey) "Clearly you're serving it up."

What the heck was up with Becky's hair today? It looked like they stuck a hairpiece on her head seconds before taping and had no time to do anything with it.

-- Eric should be retired for dementia. Does he have no regrets about treating Katie this way? Is he clueless about his role in this mess? -- Why didn't we get any scenes with Eric talking to Katie and Bill about all that's gone down? -- What does Miss Dylan bring to FC? Aside from the drama coming with Electra? Hiring her is a joke.

-- What the hell is this writing for Mona? Did Tyler Perry enter the chat? The Bible thumping and preaching is embarrassing, especially since Randy and Lynette weren't even doing anything. Why ruin this character? -- And then Randy talks about going to church and finding God? Are they serious with this? If anything, it's a mockery of religion. -- All the stuff about Doug teaching and influencing Deanna? 💤 since we never saw them in a single scene. -- That airport mall coffee shop is still a huge problem. People leave the country club to go there? Eva was there for hours? It was more noticeable than usual today. -- Vernon was a United States senator. Why does he need Bill to find loopholes to stop Leslie? -- Hayley and Bill on that striped beach towel in front of the fireplace was hilariously tacky. The room is already a decor nightmare, so Hayley brings in a towel that matches nothing while dressed in yellow that matches nothing. Yeah, they want us to mock this couple.
