I hope If & When The Gates moves forward that CBS doesnt pull what NBC did with Passions . They required their contract actors to sign for 5 years. That is why there were not many big name daytime soap starts on Passions at the beginning.

Right A lot of variables here How long will development take. Passions took over two years. So Im thinking Earliest I could see it on CBS is fall 2025.

Even though The Gates is being developed for CBS, I wouldnt be shocked if it just went streaming on Paramount Plus. I feel streaming is the future for daily soaps.

I do agree some of this are Jagger's regrets for not being there when Stone died. GH Nightshift touched on this in 2008.
