  1. Truth be told, Ryan Paevey quitting as Nathan and killing that role off really fücked with Kirsten Storms' Maxie, who has been in a misplaced spiral the entire time.
  2. Jeffrey Vincent Parise (ex-Carlos Rivera, General Hospital et al) appears in in the limited-series Griselda on Netflix.
  3. Imagine... a set on this soap that is not confined to two walls, a desk and blue paint. Brilliance.
  4. Yup. And having to endure shït writing, too.
  5. I disagree; the two anti-vaxxers firing themselves and us getting Kristina Wagner upped to regular capacity was the best thing. I've enjoyed watching Felicia the past two years, and cannot wait for more to come.
  6. Whenever I see the Gina's set and the filming of the late '90s / early '00s I just get sad.
  7. Just now, Khan said: Believe it or not, I actually like Tom Degnan. I liked him on ATWT, and I liked him on OLTL, too, even though, in both cases, he got saddled with bad storylines. Not the world's finest actor, and probably not at all convincing as a villain or even anti-hero, but definitely someone who could've grown into another tentpole actor/character, if given the right opportunity on the right show. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAPABAP///wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw== 💯 He isn't the worst actor to come out of east coast soaps. And I like the work he did as Adam on World Turns, but I do feel like whether there or even at One Life he was not even enough time to really dig deep into either role.
  8. I agree; I just worry with Maxie off-canvas and Mac not actively being written for (due to John J. York's real-life situation), it may mean we see less of Felicia, and I don't want that to happen.
  9. Crossing my fingers that some how, some way Patrick Mulcahey is about to lure Michele Val Jean away from the dead sea that is Bold to return to General Hospital in some capacity.
  10. She ATE! This was when Maxie was not watered down by being a mom. Wowza. She ate at Felicia, too. Kind of iconic. She wasn't immediately well-received but audiences warmed up to her. But she's claimed her treatment behind-the-scenes was less than favourable, and it's why she wouldn't return. But, yeah, I don't see her doing soaps as a full-time gig ever again. I'd vote for the returns of Molly Burnett or Nicole Paggi, or simply sit Kristen Storms down and demand some changes be made. Maybe Patrick Mulcahey can re-align the character.
  11. .. I don't get the hate this show is getting. It's brilliant and I love it.
  12. ... and yet, Krista Allen was let go?
  13. I'd love to see the return of the Ward family. Somehow, some way. It needs to happen.
  14. 🤣 I must be in the extreme minority of not being a Jonathan Jackson fan at all.
  15. My ultimate choice of Lucky, Jon Prescott:
  16. No, he brought it up because Michael asked if he was up to do another soap (fans were asking). Darin made it very apparent while he likes daytime and is open, he's looking into primetime and wants to go back into primetime.
  17. He wasn't campaigning for it, though. He said he keeps seeing people suggest him for it, and it was Michael who is now campaigning for it.
  18. Brilliant work by the Abbott siblings and Marla Adams' Dina.
  19. Patrick Mulcahey's views on new characters (via The Locher Room) ❝ [t]o have the character hang around and not do anything too definitive right away, until the audience gets used to seeing the character and is interested in the character. ❞ This, right here, is a problem in daytime in past ten years. A new character comes on and is usually thrust right into the spotlight and given an immediate storyline, and it is off-putting. I cannot wait to see how Mulcahey handles the new blood he may bring onto the canvas. And one of his first eight episodes was the infamous clink-boom episode:
