For years, Y&R has constantly put the Mariah/Tessa romance on the backburner. Not featured them. Used them as talk-tos. And oh yeah offensively used them to service Abby Newman Chancellor's entitled storyline.
I do think Cait Fairbanks has talent. She does what she can with the limited amount of writing the show gives Tessa. I've grown to care about Tessa.
The show has refused to write for Teriah. So I think somebody at CBS finally got the message that this wasn't okay.
They're the only part of Y&R I like, so I'm thrilled.
Now of course Josh Griffith finds ways to ruin everything or just make it dull.
But I'll take this bit of hope while I can get it.
I mean, I've invested years of interest in this couple, so I can imagine this promo as being a big romantic deal, even though it was kind of written flat.
