Hunter King appears again as Summer (via video call from Italy) - on Monday 21 Feb 2021 US (already aired 18 Feb Canada).

All these little preview clips (for various characters) that DAYS has been releasing are labeled as "after the Olympics". But it's anytime in 2022 after the Olympics. Some air soon, some air in a while, some air much later. They can release these little previews so far ahead because the show tapes so far ahead. Ciara won't go into labor until late spring or the summer sometime. So the possession storyline continues on for months. (sigh)

It was made up. Before January 2022, Kristina Wagner hadn't appeared on GH since before Covid. The only exception being one episode in 2021 which was for Sean Donely's memorial

The Avants were why I started watching - Maya's reveal brought me in and then her family was awesome. And -- their innovative storyline that kept me at the edge of my seat for months. The characters were rich, the storylines were good, and the acting was awesome. After the Avants left, B&B lost its heart for me. I mean I know the Logan-Forrester clans were structured as the center of the show (with the addition of the Spencers). But the Avants were the heart *for me*.

Jess Walton returns as Jill Friday 25 February. (Don't know if she's in Genoa City or if this is via videochat) At first I was excited to see Keemo's name mentioned in the preview clip with Jack in the room! But then, I remembered it's Josh Griffith so probably nothing will happen

Oh. whoops, my reply was just a generalized thing. But I don't know what the show's rationale was for this particular scene. The description on the YT page (if you click "see more") says (11/30/21 Deleted Scene). You're right that it's a full deleted scene. And I have no idea why it was deleted.

From the end of the Canadian day-ahead. LOL the closed-captioning on the Global broadcast said "chemo" but obviously that's wrong. I bet a lot of viewers have no idea who this is about, since the show hasn't said the name in ages.

My thoughts: Most soaps air within a few weeks of filming, so it's easier to shift scenes around to the next episode. But Days films so many episodes so fast (often filming 8 episodes per week), so by the time the editors get the raw footage, the show has probably already filmed a lot of episodes far ahead, which would create a domino effect in the amount of episodes that would need to be adjusted. Just my thoughts. (edit: my original post was very long but I decided to remove my excess verbiage)

Bringing this over from another thread... Ron tweeted: "We did not know until well after these episodes were written and taped that we would be preempted for the Winter Olympics." Ron said in SOD: "So, the only thing that gets disrupted a little bit is that it kind of screwed up where Valentine’s Day falls, so the audience will see it play out after the break." I posted wondering what Ron meant by "play out after the break". Will we see Valentines Day? Or just a discussion/flashbacks of it? Errol replied: Interesting. I guess we'll see Valentine's Day at the end of February or beginning of March. Regarding Feb sweeps: the double date of Broe with Craig and his new love is mentioned. Wonder if it's Leo- and if Leo really loves Craig or is just conning him.

LOL, Billy and Lily said last week or the week before that their Chancellor offices were being renovated, so they'd have to work at home. Srsly? The show threw that line of dialog in to excuse the lack of a set? wtf?

Just watched episode 4 on Hulu. Really enjoyed it. Lots of interesting intertwining stories coming to points of tension. All the siblings were interesting! Loved all the dynamics. I can't wait to see what happens next! so that's a good sign. FYI, in episode 4. I thought present-day Margaret fit better this time as part of the larger canopy of all the extended family. Her dialog wasn't as forced/expositional as previously. However, Bellamy Young doesn't feel like as good an actor as the rest of the cast. (IMO). The present-day Margaret is written to be phony, but still. She's so different from the days-of-their-youth Margaret. All the rest of the characters feel like real people to me, which is a real achievement for a soap that features a wealthy family. A testimony to good acting and writing, I think.

I heard that I heard that Sydney Mikayla wasn't around when they took the January 1st batch of photos. For the first batch, GH had been uploading them a few at at time (even though all from Jan 1st.). The second batch of photos is dated Feb. 7th. I wonder if they are uploading those gradually, too? Maybe there will be more, and some with Sydney? I don't see William Lipton either.
