  1. @John maybe now change thread title, since the character is not being aged?
  2. Same. And then other people quoting the fandom site and reposting and spreading it that way.
  3. New special two-hour Fantasy Island Christmas 2021 episode "Welcome to the Snow Globe" (the Roselyn Sanchez / Kiara Barnes series) to air Dec. 23, 2021 Was originally scheduled to air Dec. 14. Some football was rescheduled due to covid, which caused the December Fantasy Island two-hour episode to be moved to Dec. 23. Here is the blurb and trailer for Dec. 14. https://tvline.com/2021/12/14/fantasy-island-christmas-special-trailer-season-1-episode-9-video/ (but note that it's now moved to Dec 23). New interview with Roselyn and Kiara:
  4. Don't drop climate! Recruit Murkowski instead.
  5. Benjamin Bratt said years ago that he prefers living in California, and I respect that choice. But I'd love to see him back on Law&Order if he ever wanted to live in New York again.
  6. I didn't see the episode, but I've seen commentary online, that since COVID, on some of the soaps, you rarely seen anyone answering a door because that would be too hard to film with social distancing. So thus, beginning in summer 2020, we started seeing most characters walking into homes they are visiting, without anyone answering the door. Of course, we have all complained for many years that on various soaps there are random walk-ins, such as the DiMera mansion on Days. But it got worse on all the shows since the need for sets to observe COVID protocols. Would this ease as more of the actors are vaccinated? But we don't really know who is or is not vaccinated on B&B, Y&R, and Days -- unless an individual actor announces on the actor's social media that he/she is vaccinated. And now with omicron, who knows what will happen with set protocols. I guess the answer to your question is another question -- Did Deacon enter Brooke's home because: 1) This is an intentional piece of the storyline that she lets him do that, or that she's lax with her home security. 2) This is part of a COVID set protocol. 3) Neither #1 or #2 ... The show got lazy and messed up and didn't realize it would be odd to have a visitor simply walk in.
  7. Various articles wherever refer to the person or persons they are writing about as "fully vaccinated". At this point does that mean Johnson and Johnson one-shot? Other vaccines two shots? That's what "fully vaccinated" has meant for the past year. Now I think articles should specify "fully vaccinated but not boosted" or "fully vaccinated AND boosted" Because otherwise, the reader doesn't have the proper context when reading about whatever symptoms are occurring in new breakthrough infections since omicron began spreading.
  8. I've recently been watching the last few seasons of Law & Order, which are on Peacock. I hadn't seen those final seasons before. This is my first time seeing Anthony Anderson's Detective Bernard. I've seen about 10 of his episodes so far. The character and/or actor seems kind of meh to me. I googled Anthony Anderson and it seemed there were a few sexual harassment accusations against him in the past, in separate incidents, all of which were dismissed as baseless by the police at the time. Does anyone remember anything about that?
  9. This is all so awkward.
  10. The Devil is possessing and/or controlling more than just Marlena. The entity seems to jump in and out of her. For example the devil entity was in Doug - Doug back in October, before it took Marlena. It briefly possessed Susan, etc. That's conventional possession where the entity is inside someone controlling them. Separately from that, this year's devil entity can also morph into taking on the appearance of other characters of any gender (out of thin air) such as Eileen's Kristen*, and others. Looks like it will do another tactic this week helping Jan Spears to morph into Belle's form. It's taken a while for everyone to figure out what's going on. John figured it out, but then MarDevil locked him up. Shawn and Belle figured it out and the entity wants to stop them, so that's probably the reason for the Jan Spears scheme. *yes Eileen was appearing as a devilish apparition of lustful Kristen while meanwhile elsewhere in Salem, Stacy was appearing as UnpossessedRealKristen who was plotting a jailbreak. And meanwhile Stacy was appearing as UnpossessedSusan and briefly as PossessedSusan. Eric Brady returns at the end of Friday Dec 24 episode (or beginning of following week). The Day of Days promo showed him in priest collar. I assume he does the exorcism.
  11. https://variety.com/2021/tv/news/saturday-night-live-omicron-paul-redd-charli-xcx-1235137830/ quoting pieces of the Variety article: "It’s understood that numerous cast and crew members have tested positive for COVID in recent days" There was widespread speculation on social media on Friday about whether Colin Jost would be seen in his usual role as co-anchor with Michael Che of the “Weekend Update” segment. The New York Post reported that Tina Fey was being recruited to appear on “Weekend Update,” the segment she anchored from 2000-2006. A knowledgeable source said Fey had been approached to “pop in” on tonight’s show but not in the “Weekend Update” segment. A source close to Fey noted that she was already on board for a cameo appearance to tonight to salute host Paul Rudd on his fifth time out as “SNL” frontman, joining a short list of stars who have hosted five times. “SNL” is also known for its famously raucous after-parties. Those gatherings have been tabled for most of this season in a nod to the pandemic, although a few hosts have thrown their own post-show events, as Kim Kardashian did at Manhattan’s Zero Bond in early October. end quote
  12. Thanks for posting. Yeah, Barash made a Nov. 6 instagram post that he'd just recovered from COVID. (We didn't know at the time that the movie was being filmed).
  13. behind the scenes of rehearsing and filming the Santa dance. twitter video in three tweets.
  14. Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna's "Real Housewives" connection was used to draw their viewers to "Beyond Salem". Ali Sweeney used her Hallmark movies connection to draw her Hallmark fans to "A Very Salem Christmas".
  15. Sweeney has been doing Hallmark movies for years. She spends several months every year filming them in Canada. She produces some of them. She promotes them relentlessly. She does more than one every year. Every time one is released, she does talk shows to promote it. She also promotes them on her social media. All of her recent interviews promoted both her actual Hallmark movies and "A Very Salem Christmas". She makes sure her fans know about everything she does - she's a businesswoman. She probably did more promotion for A Very Salem Christmas than Peacock or Sony.
  16. Yes. With the added injoke that Ali Sweeney does tons of Hallmark movies, so she could draw her viewers to this.
  17. Replying to something discussed a few pages back. In the Dec 10 Sami/Nicole catfight, that Alexis and Krystal line - I don't think it was from Ron. It was probably from Jamey Giddens who was the breakdown writer for that episode.
  18. The Jarlena shot filmed through the fireplace was mentioned by Deidre in an interview. Love the parallels between grandparents and grandson!

  21. Edit. I found some tweeted screencaps from A Very Salem Christmas. Tried to post here. Will add in my next post.
