  1. @j swift Your posts indicated an assumption that SB appeared on The Talk there to represent GH. No. He was there because he won a fan poll. All the actors who appeared may have needed permission from their shows to appear (so in that sense they "represent" their shows) .... but their shows didn't send them. (See my previous two posts on this thread for details.)
  2. Steve Burton and John McCook receive the soaphub fan poll awards for favorite GH actor and favorite B&B actor.
  3. Soaphub awards were based on fan polls. Each of the four US daytime soaps had a category of "favorite actor" and "favorite actress" . Basically whichever actors/actresses got the most votes. There were also fan polls for "favorite show", "favorite feud", and "favorite newcomer". Winners of the fan polls: GH favorite actor and actress: Steve Burton and Laura Wright. Days favorite actor and actress: Robert Scott Wilson and Victoria Konefal. B&B favorite actor and actress: John McCook and Jacqueline MacInness Wood. Y&R favorite actor and actress: Eric Braeden and Michelle Stafford. Fan poll for "favorite feud". Carly/Nina won that. Fan poll for "favorite newcomer". Nicholas Chavez won. And fan poll for "favorite show". GH won. Laura Wright was there as favorite GH actress, and LW was also there with Cynthia Watros for the favorite feud award. And LW accepted the "favorite show" award on behalf of GH. There were only two non-fan-vote awards. These were determined by soaphub staff. 1) James Reynolds received the "soaphub editor's award" based on his 40 years on Days (That is how it was described). One of the hosts of The Talk also mentioned his time on Generations. 2) Soaphub gave a "Heritage award" to "Bradley Bell and the cast, crew, and staff, of The Bold and The Beautiful" (They said something it being because of it becoming 35 years old in March 2022.). One of the hosts of The Talk mentioned B&B covering social issues such as opioid addiction. Steve Burton won the fan poll for "favorite actor on GH". So per The Talk's publicity, that's why SB appeared. Sheryl Underwood asked him about Stuart Damon. Perhaps her question was planned in advance. Or maybe just before they taped, SB told SU he wanted to mention Damon? I have no idea. Of the award-winners, these appeared on The Talk: SB, LW, Cynthia W., Chavez, Victoria K, McCook, JMW, and Michelle S. Robert Scott Wilson, Eric Braeden, James Reynolds, and Bradley Bell did not appear.
  4. Thanks @Errol So that's the CBS audience requirements. Would CBS have the same requirements for talk show guests? They weren't wearing masks but do they have to be vaxxed?
  5. @victoria foxton I wasn't telling anyone where they should post. I was simply answering soapsuds' question "was there a thread about it" (in reference to "Day of Days") -- I replied with the link to that thread. But since I didn't quote the question I was replying to, I can see how you might have thought I was making a separate statement telling people where to post. But I wasn't. I'm not here to tell people what to do. I'm just here for the conversation.
  6. The front cover of SOD has pics of Peter, Anna, Jason, and Drew, with the headline "GH Final Showdown: Who Will Survive?". (This is in reference to week of Nov. 22). Thus it seems that SB's exit would be Jason's death or presumed death.
  7. Day of Days thread is here: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/60308-articlehow-to-take-part-in-second-ever-virtual-‘day-of-days’-fan-event-where-to-go-the-stars-attending-and-what-to-expect/
  8. A Very Salem Christmas will stream on STACKTV in Canada on Dec. 16, the same day it premieres on Peacock in the U.S. (via Jeevan Brar who runs thetvwatercooler.com -- which covers soaps in Canada).
  9. The New York Times seems to have lost its soul. I'm a somewhat elderly person. When I was a young person in the 1960s, the motto of The New York Times was "All the news that's fit to print". It still appears at the top left corner of page A1 of the print edition. But I cannot find it on their digital paper. When I was young, I believed the motto and thought the paper had integrity. Was I fooled? Did it ever have integrity? When did it change?
  10. A second promo this week. Does something happen to Jason? I can't tell what is happening. If something does happen to him, maybe this will be SB's exit? Or is it a misleading promo? See new promo released Wed. Nov. 17 on this thread: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/60302-with-a-bang-general-hospital-promo-november-17-2021/
  11. ^ good twitter thread
  12. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CWE4bFZpyVb/ It's a really great interview
  13. Fyi, there's a scene in the King Richard movie when teens Serena and Venus meet President and First Lady Ronald and Nancy Reagan. The soap connection is that Judith Chapman plays Nancy Reagan.
  14. If you can't get it to display, here is an archive copy of same SOD interview link: https://archive.md/8c8Bt
  15. Not soap-related, but relevant to the Disney mandate. "Original 9-1-1 cast member Rockmond Dunbar is leaving the hit Fox drama series after more than four seasons. His character, Michael Grant, was abruptly written off in last night’s episode. According to sources, Dunbar’s departure stems from the new Covid protocols on the show, produced by Disney TV Studios’ 20th Television, which require all actors to be vaccinated." https://deadline.com/2021/11/rockmond-dunbar-exits-911-covid-vaccine-mandate-medical-religious-exemptions-1234874927/
  16. (image via daytimeconfidential) Update: This pic is now on the nbcdays instagram and twitter accounts, and the daysofourlives facebook account.
  17. Well considering that Ingo's final episode is Nov 22, I imagine Burton's final episode will also be soon. There will have to be something in the script saying Jason has left town, is missing, is dead, or is in a coma, etc. to explain Burton no longer being on screen. And/or a recast would be announced.
  18. In their original article, TVLine included this paragraph: "All eyes now are on Rademacher’s castmate Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan and claimed in August that he had had tested positive for COVID after being “exposed at work.” While Burton hasn’t expounded on social media, as Rademacher has, there has been unverified speculation that he has thus far chosen not to be vaccinated." https://web.archive.org/web/20211108214915/https://tvline.com/2021/11/08/general-hospital-ingo-rademacher-leaving-jax-vaccine-mandate/ In the current version of that same TVLine article, that paragraph about Burton has been removed. https://tvline.com/2021/11/08/general-hospital-ingo-rademacher-leaving-jax-vaccine-mandate/ (I do believe Burton is gone. Just noticing that TVLine decided not to say it.)
  19. It seems that they don't know anything but wanted to write an article.
