When Chance and Abby got married, Kevin and Chloe (with Esther) moved out of the Chancellor mansion. The three of them (Kevin/Chloe/Esther) plus the children have been living together in their own house or apartment ever since. I remember the scenes of them moving out. Kevin and Chloe went back to the mansion for one final check to see if they had missed anything, and that's when they found something that Gloria had left behind when she had previously visited them at the C-mansion. Gloria had hidden a device which contained blackmail material about the Hollywood firm she'd been working at. I think there was info about the Newmans on it? I think Phyllis tried to get Kevin to tell her the secrets on it. I don't remember where that storyline went, and it doesn't matter for this topic of where Kevin and Chloe currently live. My point was that finding that device was Kevin&Chloe's final scene at the C-mansion. I don't think Y&R has ever shown the current residence of Kevin/Chloe/Esther/children? Or have they? I remember the show made this big deal about them moving out of the C-mansion so that Chance and Abby could kind of be the king and queen of their new family/dynasty/whatever, as they were planning to have children. And then Danny Boaz got himself fired. In my opinion, the mansion just doesn't feel right without Esther living there. And, in my opinion, Jill should be there, too. But I understand that Jess Walton wants to be home in Oregon -- she posted on her instagram that her husband's cancer returned and the outlook is not good. Mariah and Nina living at the mansion now .... to assist Abby in her awaiting the baby ... are to further that Y&R goal of the new Abby/Chance dynasty. All of this is so *very* annoying to me.

Scott spoke informally with some of the restaurant customers at the show. He met two attendees who were Jack and Jen fans, and then he brought Missy over to meet them. The fan tweeted it out. She said her convo with Missy was very brief, and that Missy just outright told her the news without being asked. (It seems Missy gave her permission to tweet it out?) She didn't ask Missy if there would be anything more than the Christmas episode.

Well, it IS already 2022 in Salem time, due to the timejump. (sorry, couldn't resist the snark). The person on twitter said she spoke to Missy for only a moment after the concert. She tweeted that she wished she had asked if Missy was doing more than the single Christmas episode, but didn't want to push.

It was announced last year that this would be the case. But for all her Days episodes that have aired in 2021, she has been listed in the closing credits with the non-contract cast.

SOD says EJ kicks Sami out of the DiMera mansion, and then she decides to go visit the Hernandez home to ask Gabi for permission to stay at the DiMansion. But as Sami approaches Rafe's house, she gets kidnapped. There was also some weird SOD spoiler for 11 August that Ava wants to exact revenge on Sami. SOD says Ali Sweeney's arc ends (for now) on 11 August when Sami is kidnapped. Ali Sweeney stopped taping Days in April because she went to Vancouver, BC to tape some Hallmark movies. This involved renting a place to stay by herself for two weeks in quarantine before taping, per Canada's Covid rules for people entering Canada at that particular time. (I think the rules are different now but that's what the rules were then.) Anyhow she quarantined for two weeks, then taped a few movies. Then returned to California in mid-June for a family event. Ali began taping at Days again sometime in July, (or maybe the end of June). So basically we will see Sami again sometime in November or December, but it could be earlier because they don't always tape things in order. (No idea how long that next arc lasts) Edit to add: There was a big announcement last year that she'd be returning to Days with a one-year contract. And yes that return was delayed because she was filming Hallmark movies in Canada from late August 2020 into some of autumn 2020. Then she finally began taping at Days in late 2020. Her first airdate was 25 Feb 2021. Jason47 tracks the closing credits. Right, of course. I made an assumption that Charles Shaughnessy could do only a British character - because of his roles on Days and The Nanny. But I should not make assumptions! He might be able to portray a character with an average USA accent. I wouldn't know because I haven't seen everything he's ever acted in. He has lived in the USA for decades and has "proud American" in his twitter bio.

It seems like Ted King's character Jack Finnegan (Finn's adoptive father) might be the biological father as well as being the adoptive father. They are showing him talking to himself in his mind (but not aloud) trying to figure out whether he should say something. And he was very concerned today when Steffy and Finn decided to post online or text or email the wedding invitations for anyone to see - he clearly didn't want someone to happen to see it. edit to add: If Jack is not the biological father, he knows something, or someone, connected to Sheila. The spoiler for later this week is that someone is concerned when a mystery woman arrives. Presumably that's about him and Sheila?
