Thanks for posting the youtube of the newscasters ranting. I couldn't undertand anything they were saying on the twitter version, except for the word a$$hole. With the youtube, I could use the gear icon, and slow down the speed and also select closed captioning. And then I discovered a transcript in the youtube comments: Transcript Rebecca Maddern: 'Whatever way you look at it, Novak Djokovic is a lying, sneaky, a***hole.' Mike Amor: 'He's an a***hole.' RM: 'Like whatever way you look at it, it's unfortunate that everybody else stuffed up around him. MA: 'That's it, I mean he's an a***hole.' ......... Kristen had used Sarah's cellphone to text Maggie that Sarah was enroute to leave the USA to go to some far-off place to do "Doctors Without Borders" and would be unreachable. Maggie fell for it. All this time, Maggie believed that Sarah was with Doctors Without Borders, unreachable. I think Kristen-as-Sarah sent a similar text to Rex -- that she'd decided against a relationship with Rex, and would be out of the country unreachable. Something along those lines. Since Sarah made it clear (via text) that she didn't want a relationship, Rex simply accepted it. But Kristen didn't text Xander in the same way, that Sarah was out of the country. Instead, Kristen set it up so that Xander would believe Sarah left town with Rex. The ruse was discovered only recently when Xander encountered Rex visiting Salem -- and he asked Rex about Sarah, and Xander learned that Sarah had never left with Rex. I mean all of this is sort of reasonable? But you'd think that if Sarah really was with Doctors Without Borders, there would have been an occasional opportunity for her to get a message out to Maggie by email or postal mail, etc. But yeah the point made by another poster above ... Wouldn't Roman and Kate have asked Rex how Sarah is?

But I don't really believe he told the whole story. Yeah, I agree, there's more to it. His statement sounded very carefully crafted.

Well Paulina caught them at the end of the episode. What I personally liked during the episode was Allie and Chanel's dialog, and deciding to sleep platonically next to one another, but then Allie's heart opened and they made love.. I think this is a love story and not just a hookup. Granted, the sex was barely shown but I think the point was the actual love involved.

Jamey Giddens always wanted to be a writer on daytime. He recently wrote his own nighttime soap Ambitions which was awesome but lasted only one season. Now he's a breakdown writer on Days and says he gets to write one show per week. He seems genuinely thrilled to be doing something he loves. There have to be others out there who love the soap genre and WANT to write.

I've always seen Chanel/Allie as the longterm pairing! They're my favorite part of the show right now. Tripp is dull and useless. He's only there as the safe conventional option that Allie is hiding behind.
