GH Feb sweeps
That is a really good question. In the SOD article about this, MB says that when Sonny was Mike, he really was in love with Nina - and although he regained his full memory and loves Carly, he has not shut off his love for Nina, so that love is still there. He doesn't use these words but it seems like he's saying he's still in love with Nina while *also* being in love with Carly. MB seems to regard this as real love. And MB has said that in other interviews/tweets/whatever, that Sonny loves Nina. But your point remains valid! She shouldn't be be having her first sexual time with him when she knows he's in the middle of a bipolar flare-up and extremely distraught. He does love her but the timing is all wrong. She shouldn't be that desperate. She should help him seek therapy and then wait until he's stabilized and then they can pursue whatever they want. I guess she's rationalizing it that they are already in love so why not? But still. The special date that Sonny had planned for Carly on the Haunted Star - had Sonny dressed in a white-jacket tuxedo. Apparently he was trying to recreate (on the Haunted Star) something from their tropical honeymoon or something - a big gesture. Carly was resistant to that type of pressure. This is obviously a set-up for Carly to change her mind and show up at the Haunted Star, and walk in on Sonny/Nina having sex. That's not spoiled but it's obvious because this is a soap.

GH Feb sweeps
This is from the ABC/Disney press release about Luke's memorial on Jan 21st: "As the town says goodbye to Luke, an exciting new mystery unfolds. Meanwhile, life continues to unravel for the rest of Port Charles as a beloved couple comes to a fork in the road of their relationship." _______________ These appear to be February sweeps hints. The "exciting new mystery" is probably about the Ice Princess. I wondered who is the "beloved couple" coming to a fork in the road their relationship? And then I realized oh yeah the show considers Sonny and Carly to be beloved (barf!)

On Friday 4th February, Sonny wants Carly to meet him for a romantic date on the Haunted Star. Kristina phones Carly and tells her to go meet Sonny, and Carly is upset and replies that she can't do this right now. The way the conversation goes, Kristina *interprets* this as Carly giving a definite "no" to Sonny's invitation. Kristina goes to the the Haunted Star and tells Sonny that Carly is not coming. Sonny is really upset. Kristina goes to work at Charlie's. Kristina is on the phone telling Molly how upset Sonny is and that he is alone on the Haunted Star and she's worried. Obrecht is at Charlie's and overhears this. Obrecht tells Nina, and then Nina immediately goes to the Haunted Star to check on Sonny. Meanwhile Carly and Drew talk. Carly says she is uncertain about meeting Sonny at the Haunted Star. Drew tries to get Carly to consider going. She might go there later after all. --- SOD has an article: week of 7th February. "Sonny and Nina make love". Main points: Sonny is on the Haunted Star. He is off his meds, and he thinks Carly has completely rejected him and all hope is lost. Nina arrives at the Haunted Star to check on him ... and then they make love. ______________________________________________________ The other big thing that happened. Thursday 3rd Feb, Peter was being transported to the prison and the vehicle was stopped. Dante and Mac were shot. Another officer was killed. Friday 4th Feb, Dante is in hospital but okay. Mac is in hospital in critical condition. Peter kidnapped Bailey/Louise. So this sets up two things for February: the hunt for the baby, and worries about Mac's recovery.

On the Friday Feb 4 closing credits, Wes Ramsey was removed from the contract credits. In the non-contract credits section, he wasn't listed, but ... only half the appearing non-contract actors were credited, so he was just another one that was omitted. Does these mean he's leaving? I have no idea. But at least he's off contract. The credits were for the week of January 31-February 4th. So that means he was off contract effective January 31. I suppose anyone could start a separate thread "GH Actor contract status change". But I don't know if it matters. We could have the whole celebration about his potentially leaving the show - but then like Lucy, Charlie Brown, and the football - the show would fake us out and continue torturing us.

Janet Jackson Appreciation Thread
Fyi, I don't have cable or access to Lifetime. I was able to purchase/rent the documentary on Amazon Prime. Lifetime ran two hours one night, and then two hours the following night. Amazon Prime has it broken into four separate hours, but it's the same. Just purchase the "season" instead of the individual episodes, I think it cost me $6.99 for the "season" which is all four hours of the documentary. Worth the price! Better than a fancy coffee drink! I really enjoyed the documentary. I've always loved Janet and her music. I hadn't known a lot about her personal life. I learned a lot. I saw a notice somewhere that you can watch it on "Sky Documentaries" in the UK.

All: character may be killed off
I remember a Days actress maybe 6 or 7 years ago posted seemingly from the studio, but it was an old pic, and she was already gone from the show. Not saying RSW is doing that. Just sayin it happens. If he really was on set today, maybe it's for a reshoot of a scene? Apparently they've been shooting lots of stuff out of order (sometimes a month or two out of order) because actors and/or crew got covid or were otherwise unavailable, so the show has to reschedule scenes.

Easton Rocket Sweda regularly recurs as Leo Falconeri, not Rocco. Brady Bauer plays Rocco Falconeri. That was Isaiah Dell as the temporary Leo. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7150967/

Yeah I think they film stuff out of order. Sonny's hair color changes from day to day, LOL.- Guiding light alum joins YR

Julie Pinson and Billy Warlock have been living in Telluride Colorado for several years, where he is a ski instructor. Really. Here is a clip that was filmed in 2020 for a Baywatch (where are they now) documentary. I don't think the documentary was ever finished, but this clip remains. It shows Billy skiing.- Days of our Lives 1/31/2022 Weekly Preview Promo

Isaiah Dell Damien Leake aired as temp Marshall Ashford 28 January. Robert Gossett returned as Marshall Ashford 31 January. Isaiah Dell aired as temp Leo Falconeri 31 January. Easton Rocket Sweda returned as Leo in 1st February episode. Jon Lindstrom was apparently unavailable when they were filming Luke's memorial that aired 21st January. Jon Lindstrom was in New York 23rd January https://twitter.com/thejonlindstrom/status/1482476183216291841 The 1st February episode was Olivia & Ned's vow renewal. Kevin did not appear in that episode, and Laura explained it by saying Kevin had a patient. There was scene spoiled in cable guides for 28 January "Sam and Scout cross with Drew." And that scene is listed on ABC website for the episode description: https://abc.com/shows/general-hospital/episode-guide/2022-01/28-general-hospital-12822 The scene did not air. The word is that it was never filmed due to Kelly Monaco absence. Kelly Monaco returned as Sam McCall in 1st February episode. Lindsay Hartley returns as temp Sam McCall in Feb 3rd episode "for a handful of episodes". Was the KMo 28 January scene unfilmed because they did not have time to get the recast set up? It seems that GH films whatever they need to film when it's time to film it, and if you are sick or unavailable, they cut your character from the episode, or replace you with a temp recast. How did they get KMo for the 1st February episode? Was the Ned&Olivia vow renewal episode filmed out of order from other episodes? Per Lisa LoCicero Instagram, she was filming a movie in Montana for a few weeks in January.- All: character may be killed off
I agree. The Nick/Gabi xmas movie pairing happened because Brandon Barash got Covid and they decided to replace Jake with Nick,, but they should have recast Jake for the movie, or just completely rewritten the Gabi part. I didn't think it was okay to put Nick in there. Will would not have written Nick that way, even for a fictional movie he was writing. Ron shouldn't have done that. Sonny's line asking Will wtf and Will's offhand reply were not enough to offset it. And yeah. Julie should have faced the reality about Nick long ago.- Soap Opera Cast Lists and Character Guides- Cancelled and Current
Thanks. fyi they show the actor's name as Isaiah Dell (not Isaiah Hill.) https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7150967 (Correcting my own misspelling. I typed Isiah but it should be Isaiah.)- Guiding light alum joins YR
The only Victoria that works (for me) is Ruthless!Victoria. Amelia can play that, and she does well when they write the character that way. Unfortunately (as others have posted above) the show refuses to commit to that. The character Victoria should never be a written as romantic heroine or as a submissive waif. The character fails when the show tries to do that, and that's not something Amelia is good at. - GENERAL HOSPITAL February 2022 Discussion Thread
