Ron said in SOD: "So, the only thing that gets disrupted a little bit is that it kind of screwed up where Valentine’s Day falls, so the audience will see it play out after the break." I posted wondering what Ron meant by "play out after the break". Will we see Valentines Day? Or just a discussion/flashbacks of it? Errol replied: Interesting. I guess we'll see Valentine's Day at the end of February or beginning of March. Regarding Feb sweeps: the double date of Broe with Craig and his new love is mentioned. Wonder if it's Leo- and if Leo really loves Craig or is just conning him.

LOL, Billy and Lily said last week or the week before that their Chancellor offices were being renovated, so they'd have to work at home. Srsly? The show threw that line of dialog in to excuse the lack of a set? wtf?

Just watched episode 4 on Hulu. Really enjoyed it. Lots of interesting intertwining stories coming to points of tension. All the siblings were interesting! Loved all the dynamics. I can't wait to see what happens next! so that's a good sign. FYI, in episode 4. I thought present-day Margaret fit better this time as part of the larger canopy of all the extended family. Her dialog wasn't as forced/expositional as previously. However, Bellamy Young doesn't feel like as good an actor as the rest of the cast. (IMO). The present-day Margaret is written to be phony, but still. She's so different from the days-of-their-youth Margaret. All the rest of the characters feel like real people to me, which is a real achievement for a soap that features a wealthy family. A testimony to good acting and writing, I think.

I heard that I heard that Sydney Mikayla wasn't around when they took the January 1st batch of photos. For the first batch, GH had been uploading them a few at at time (even though all from Jan 1st.). The second batch of photos is dated Feb. 7th. I wonder if they are uploading those gradually, too? Maybe there will be more, and some with Sydney? I don't see William Lipton either.

Did the judge say there was a limit to the amount of names, so they had to omit one? LOL. Maybe the Y&R writers simply forgot? Amanda said it's not official yet. So we'll see what's on the amended birth certificate ... if this is ever finalized. And we can make a reasonable speculation that since this is a soap, his parentage will all be changed after whatever happens with Dominic's bone marrow.

I love that their characters are best friends. They play so well off each other! I can just feel the connection. I'm going to rewatch the first two seasons which are up on hulu. Such a great show.

Friday 11 February: The dating app Terry uses - it does not do photos. She and her blind date arranged to meet at Charlies. He said he'd be wearing a teal shirt. Terry makes a point of telling her BFF Liz all this and Terry said they had been texting for some time, and that he knows "everything" about her. The way she says it, perhaps she is telling Liz that he accepts all of her - including that she is a trans woman. Terry arrives at Charlie's, and a man arrives wearing a teal shirt, and it's Chet (Nurse Amy's brother, the war veteran who has prosthetic legs due to a war injury). End of scene. They have wonderfully flirty banter. You can see that Chet finds Terry charming, and she openly says she is into him. They are enjoying themselves. There seems to be some real spark. Eventually Terry calls him by the name of her date that was on the dating app - which is "Tanner". So it seems that Chet was not her date, and apparently Chet just happened to be at Charlie's wearing a teal shirt. I dunno, they seem to have a real connection. But will GH go anywhere with this? Or will it be written as a joke and then dropped? Will GH write it that they are both "different/disabled/whatever" characters (with perhaps an unstated but extremely offensive implication that they can't find anyone else)? Or will GH do the sane thing and write them as full real human rich characters who are complete within themselves and enjoying one another? The show rarely uses the character Chet, so I don't think this will go far. Terry is now co-chief-of-staff and Liz's BFF, even though Cassandra James is recurring. I want to see more for Terry.

I know, right? I was laughing when typing that. It was clarified when I watched the episode over, but still... He saw the real Amanda from the front, wearing a long white outfit, and he really saw the woman he was stalking. Then later at the same event, he saw the back of a woman who was wearing a similar white outfit, who had dark hair of the same length, and he assumed it was Amanda, and he was in a hurry to stab her, so he went for it. The lighting of the scene made it hard to see the shade of the brunette hair.

I posted what aired about Billy and Lily and Devon discussing what could happen on the podcast and then I said "and yes it sounds like a Paul Raven spoof but this actually aired". And then, LOL, @Paul Raven posts a spoof of what's to come. And of course Paul perfectly captures the type of thing that Y&R does.

The podcast was Lily's idea. As mentioned above, Billy spent hours talking into his cellphone about all of his mental issues and problems sleeping. Lily started listening... and then when Billy was done ... Lily told Billy that he should do a podcast like that. She suggested that he do it with Devon's streaming platform. Then Billy met with Devon. They talked about a collaboration between Hamilton-Winters and Chancellor Industries. To quote the soapcentral recap: Billy told Devon the platform for the podcast would be a unifying theme of bettering oneself. Each series would be specifically designed and centered around health and wellness, both physical and mental. They had an opportunity to really help people and put something good into the world. Billy felt that Neil and Katherine would really appreciate that and seeing them work together. Devon loved it. Sigh. (and yes it sounds like a Paul Raven spoof but this actually aired)

Was this a real-life memorial service for Stuart Damon? He died back in June. Was the service delayed due to covid or whatever?

And now Billy thinks he was terrific doing this and has the idea to host a podcast on wellbeing. Really. What? does he think is he going to be Genoa City's Maurice Bernard or something?(but audio instead of video). Sigh.

Dimitra Arliss was *amazing* in The Sting -- I remember her character vividly as soon as I saw the picture you posted from the movie. I remember seeing that movie in the theater and being so startled about the twist with her character. I didn't know she'd appeared as Helena Casadine. Nor did I know that Helena's full name is "Helena Sophia Anhalt Cassadine".
