Yeah it's 2025, not 1955. But the current U.S. government wants to bring us to 1825. (Not trying to derail the GH thread, as there's an entire Politics thread at SON for that.) To stay on topic, I'm just saying that I'm curious how ABC/Disney will respond to the current political climate. I hope they won't derail progressive storylines on GH or primetime, but who knows. I just want Sasha to make her own decisions. As Khan pointed out, they might not even say the *bortion word on the show. And I agree with CarolineG and others upthread: Seeing as how Sasha suffered so much in so many storylines, and already lost one child, if she chooses to keep this child, I hope it goes well. And yeah she CAN raise the child herself. She's a grown woman!

In response to the racist massacre in June 2015 in Charleston SC, activist Bree Newsome removed the Confederate flag. Also in response to what happened in Charleston, Biden decided to run for President even though he hadn't planned on it, because he wanted to stop racism. Biden was slow to condemn the Israeli genocide in Gaza, and never used the word, but it was clear (to me) that he didn't approve. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were CLEAR that the only correct path forward would be a two-state solution with both Palestine and Israel internationally recognized. Some of the American voters were supporting Palestine but not looking at the big picture. How could anyone trust Tr*mp about anything? The Project 2025 playbook was clear: Only support WASP straight men who claim to be Christian. Regarding the Democrat American voters who who voted against Biden because of Gaza ... what did they think was going to happen? **Speculation-opinion only** I think Netanyahu intentionally, for many months, delayed the hostage deal with Hamas, leaving Israeli citizens in captivity, so as to time the release with American politics. Israel was ready to get rid of Netanyahu before all this happened. He seemed (to me) to play this out for his own power. It was obvious (to me) they were using the Iran-Contra playbook. So it would seem that Netanyahu promised a Trump Casino Hotel in Gaza? /end speculation The irony is that M*sk being a nazi made a video screen appearance at the neonazi rally in Germany couple of weeks ago, and he said that it was time for Germans to stop thinking about the past -- clearly meaning: stop feeling guilt about the Holocaust. I mean he said it at a neonazi rally the day before Holocaust Remembrance Day. Trump gave the reins of the U.S. government to M*sk. What does Netanyahu think will happen now ?

Rubio is now Secretary of State (US equivalent of "foreign minister"). The biggest news is that El*n M*sk shut down "USAID", (the foreign aid agency) calling it "a criminal organization" on his twitterX. USAID employees were fired and locked out. Congresspersons showed up at the USAID office to complain, and were not let in. Rubio intends to fold foreign aid into his Dept. of State. USAID is the largest giver of foreign aid, including medical/humanitarian aid worldwide. That's all shut down. Including things like vaccines and AIDS treatments in countries that cannot afford them. Am now becoming aware (by news reports) by the utterly evil things that M*sk is outright proclaiming on twitter. To think this creep is running the U.S. government right now? He's technically Tr*mp's unelected consultant/minion, but he seems to have been given full leeway to do whatever, in the capacity as the person running "DOGE" Dept of Government Efficiency - created by Tr*mp for M*sk to run. Not created by Congress.

I don't know how I inadvertently gave my post about the Taliban minister some repeated sentences. But the idea was worth the emphasis, so I guess my typo makes sense. I mean when a Taliban official can be that brave, why aren't the U.S. Democrat Senators brave enough to vote NO in the confirmation hearings of Tr*mp's cabinet? Oh and actually more h*ell freezing over .... Mitch McConnell has been voting no to some of Tr*ump's ideas and nominations.

Update, I see that the actor posted on IG on August 6 with pic of dressing room, but it wasn't intended to convey them taping that day. I see that tvinsider did an article about the return that was published August 6, so the ig post was in reference to that. The tvinsider article didn't give any upcoming airdates, it just mentions the return, so I have no idea when it will air.

I don't know exactly, but I think that actor filmed for only a few days. The show might distribute the scenes over a longer period of airdates though. It's also possible that the actor filmed more than one short run. Edit to add: they posted a pic of a Days dressing room on August 6th. But per Jason47 (link) the set was dark that week. So who knows when they actually filmed.
