Agree. They are not new articles. Posted only because some here may not have seen them. My apologies to those who already did. I reposted only because it seemed that *sometimes* more of the blame is directed at Amanda. (In my personal opinion some of this is on Josh&Lauren.) And yes I acknowledge that this has already been discussed/rehashed numerous times on the GH threads in past year or two.

This is GH going with the wishes of both Amanda and Josh. It seems that Amanda Setton observes a modesty practice from her religious beliefs. Which is why she dresses as she does on GH. Josh Swickard doesn't have that, so we see him shirtless. However Josh Swickard and his wife actress Lauren York Swickard (aka Lorynn York) have a pact that he won't do intimacy scenes, from their version of Christian beliefs. (Lauren played an employee at the psych facility where Sasha was held in 2023). He will commit and do anything to protect them, defend them, and support them. It’s sad, but it’s true. I wanted to embody what Michele had written on the page, and I think I’m doing it.”Wow. this show was really bad. Especially Aaron Jackson (in the orange shirt) who seemed to think he's cool, but is not. It was as if he were unintentionally doing a bad Jim Carrey impression. Thanks for posting, though! I took one acting class in the 1970s and we had to do something similar: Take a random bit of writing and then say it as if in a scene with various emotions: say it as if you're speaking to a dying loved one, say it as if you're joyful about a specific situation, etc. But the idea was to do the exercise sincerely to do *acting* and really embody the emotions of what was being said, despite the meaningless script. It was fun and interesting to watch my classmates do it. It seems like Clifton Davis took that approach-- doing it sincerely. He was a believable character when reading aloud the "sound, desktop&dock settings" (for an apple computer). Even the words "on" and "off" had emotion, LOL. Loved how he said "Play feedback, when volume is changed". And then they had him redo the scene as if he were a Russian spy. I mean, if he can put that much emotion into "device settings", then Vernon Dupree will be mesmerizing. (Well we already knew he'd be great as Vernon. Just sayin' this shows he can act, no matter what the script). Karla Mosley seemed to approach this as if it were supposed to be a soap spoof, so she was intentionally overdramatic when doing the reading of the "mattress tag", plus her scene partner was very annoying. I liked her second scene partner better, when they did the "dehydration warning".as BetterForgotten said, the Wed. Her parents were morticians and her family lived in the upstairs of the funeral home -- the family lived upstairs, the funeral home was on the ground level, and the mortuary was in the basement -- she said it was like the show "Six Feet Under, only Black". She began helping in the family business as a teen, doing hair and makeup. She was born into this life so it was all normal for her. She said that when she got the role as the medical examiner on SVU, "When I walked into the morgue on Law&Order:SVU, nobody could tell me nothing!" What's great is that she has been told by Black women in real life that they, or their daughters or sisters, became inspired to study forensic science because of her role on SVU.
