Idk about starting off today’s episode with people who weren’t at John’s service, saying what a lovely service it was, but whatevs. There were a lot of good scenes today, regardless. Kayla’s returned strength was on full display today. She pulled no punches with Xander and with EJ, and I was here for it. She was also used very well in her scenes with Stephanie. I like how Kayla opened up to her about her feelings on Steve shutting down BlackPatch, and that they’re going to have a dinner for Steve. I enjoyed Maggie’s scenes with Sarah too. I don’t think for a second that Sarah is going to leave Salem with Victoria but she brought up a lot of interesting points about the pull that she has towards Xander, no matter what he’s like. I also enjoyed the argument that she had with Xander. I’m really interested in seeing what’s going to happen for them and everybody around them. Belle seems to be in the same boat as Sarah, regarding her feelings for EJ. They still had chemistry in their scenes today. And I like the drama of it all, and how mature that it’s been written lately. Shawn and Belle comforting each other was really sweet as well. I still think the ship hasn’t sailed for them yet lol All the ‘One Stormy Night’ stuff didn’t do much for me though. And the cliffhanger ending didn’t seem all that necessary either. Btw, Jada’s still living at Stephanie’s? 😂😂😂

A long one today. 48 minutes. Today was also an all Vet episode. Not a younger character in sight lol I loved seeing John’s wake continuing on at the Pub and also having everyone rehash the adventures that they had with him over the years. It was nice seeing so many flashbacks too, from West Virginia, Stockholm, the reunion on the Pier, the Possession, etc. Marlena and Shane’s monologue about them all being friends and sticking together through everything was one of the best parts of today. That final scene between Roman and Marlena was really sweet too. And, I’m very glad that it was mentioned that it was the real Roman who shot and killed Orpheus’ wife 😂 I thought Jack and Jennifer were used very effectively too. They should have been at John’s funeral, but I enjoyed Jennifer’s scenes with Julie and Hope and Jack’s scene at Abigail’s grave. It was nice seeing the three Horton women catch up. They do have a natural chemistry that make them seem so much like family. And I agree, Julie. It was Bo and Hope’s love that made them able to survive everything all these years. There was one moment where the dialogue seemed a little clunky though. Did Julie not remember that they all survived the ship sinking during the. Cruise of Deception, not just Jack and Jennifer lol And, I also think they hinted today as to how But I actually don’t mind it.

Time for Luna to die. I'm tired of this s*it- RIP: Chris Robinson Dead at 86 [GH/B&B]
Another year that hasn't been good for Soap Vets RIP- DAYS: June 2025 Discussion Thread
Or the budget again. I wish they had found a way to make it work though. Tate and Rachel weren't even in today's episode. I probably would've liked Isabella if I had watched in real time. From what I have seen, she just seemed so easily swayed by Ernesto, similar to how her son is so swayed and beholden to Kristen 😂😂 And you know that if Ron had been writing, Leo would've been the first one to comfort Marlena with binges of Drag Race 😂- DAYS: June 2025 Discussion Thread
Today was the day everybody recreated the flower ceremony from John and Marlena's 1999 wedding 😥😥 And once again, it was beautiful. I also couldn't help but laugh though when Brady brought up John's use of his eyebrow whenever he dealt with his kids or grandkids. It's little lighthearted moments like that, that really have helped make these episodes and this tribute so real and genuine. And even though they couldn't get Alison Sweeney back for John's memorial, I'm glad that they came up with the idea to have Eric read a letter from Sami. The way that the letter was written is pretty much what Sami would have said if she had made it back to say goodbye to John. Marlena and Bo's eulogies were the ones that got me today. I seriously wonder if their's or anyone else's were scripted or improvised. And I agree Bo, John's huge heart and compassion was his true power.- ALL: Soap Opera Roasts
I didn't even think of roasters from GH 😂😂 Maybe this roast will take even more than two years- DAYS: June 2025 Discussion Thread
The Cruise of Deception was the first thing that came to mind when I mentioned that Brady might take after that side of the family 😂😂😂- DAYS: June 2025 Discussion Thread
And is the perfect one to carry on John’s legacy. He must take after Isabella 😂😂😂 Because from what I’ve seen, there seemed to be times where she wasn’t all that bright either- DAYS: June 2025 Discussion Thread
Another great episode. Once again, I enjoyed the interactions that characters had with each other. Even with everything going on, Marlena was still strong for her children and grandchildren. Abe, Steve and Shane's and Roman and Kayla's eulogies stood out to me the most. Whoever wrote them, or if they were improvised by the actors, they did a really good job with them. I still think Roman should've had a scene at John's bedside where he told him all of this though. And I couldn't help but tear up a little when Brady led everybody in singing 'Amazing Grace' and during Paul's eulogy as well. You could tell that nobody is really acting here, but something about Christopher Sean has always hit very differently during this storyline, and that was on full display today. I also liked that they mentioned that there was a live stream set up for people who couldn't make the service, because there are plenty of people lol And I'm glad that Bo finally knows the truth about John and everything that happened. Bo demanding that Hope take him to the funeral was classic Bo, and it has me looking forward to tomorrow. Definitely. I've noticed that they've been using that stupid joke music a lot less too and I couldn't be happier.- Dynasty Discussion Thread

Figured it was something like that. It's just feels weird that Will came back to see John but he's not gonna be at his funeral but They are blood related. Through Sami and Theresa. I didn't notice it last week, but it looked so fresh today. Like he got cut minutes before they started filming or something lol- DAYS: June 2025 Discussion Thread
Maybe there was a scheduling conflict or something. He still has the full time 9-5 in Atlanta, right? Julie was there. Idk if Maggie’s gonna be a part of it though- DAYS: June 2025 Discussion Thread
Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes. The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that. I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December. But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point. It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc. Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?- DAYS: June 2025 Discussion Thread
Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well. - B&B: June 2025 Discussion Thread
