Finally, some follow up with Marlena. In those scenes, we were still feeling the heartache that Marlena’s feeling. I couldn’t help but get a little emotional when she took out John’s Yankee cap. But I’m curious now, I know Drake was a Yankee fan, but did John ever mention the Yankees at all? I’m glad that Belle was there to comfort Marlena too. Their talk about John, and about Belle’s feelings for EJ was nice. And even though I’m not really sure about Belle going back to EJ, I like the mess that she’s in. And I thought that she was used effectively with Philip today as well. Her being determined to prove that Philip is lying about Xander could be pretty interesting. I hope Shawn is weaved into all of this too somehow. Speaking of Xander, I enjoyed seeing him and Sarah go head to head again. They work so well together, even when they are mad at each other. And I think he and Philip work pretty well together too. I hope that this isn’t the end of the drama for them though, especially since they’ve decided to not tell Sarah that Philip was the one who ratted her out. There’s still so much that they can do with the three of them, and Alex and Stephanie too. And, I like that we also got some follow up with EJ’s shooting. I understand them putting this storyline on the backburner due to John’s death and Bo’s return, but now it’s time to kick it into high gear lol EJ seemed very sincere in his scenes with Johnny today but I still can’t help but think that he has an ulterior motive, like he’s trying to manipulate Johnny or something. And I’m glad that the mystery of the memory card hasn’t been dropped either. And seriously, poor Chanel. She can’t get a break. Raven Bowens is still killing it though. I’m hoping that Javi becoming a paramedic gives him more layers. And gets him out of that bubble that he’s stuck in with Leo and Gabi.

Congratulations, Bo and Hope! Today was a love letter to the two of them, and their love. And the fans too. Having the majority of the episode be focused solely on them was the right decision. It almost felt like one of those classic soap events. The throwback to Oak Alley was really nice to see as well. And, yes Bo. The Horton house is the perfect place for you and Hope to remarry. And while I still think that there’s a place for them to be on Days full time, I don’t mind them sailing off around the world again. They’ve definitely earned their happily ever after, away from the drama of Salem lol And, it was a real treat seeing young Tom and Alice again. I honestly thought those flashbacks had been erased from existence. Once again, the actress playing young Alice really stood out. But I’m not really sure about that flashback where young Tom was so horny 😂😂 Was it necessary lol

At this point, I’m just gonna believe that there was another section of mourners behind the camera 😂 And that was where Will, Ari, Maggie, Sarah, Stephanie, etc. were supposed to have been sitting. A Will/Javi pairing could lead to some pretty good drama 😂

I like Emma more and more every day. It's well past the time for somebody to put Carly's rabid dog in her place and I hope this continues. I hope Emma outsmarts all of them. Vaughn did look hot though. I'm still enjoying angry Gio too. But Lulu trying to comfort him isn't gonna make me like her lol. The writing has really messed up her character. Btw, someone really ought to tell Sasha that the baby's name is Daisy, not Dacey.

Agreed. That was a missed opportunity. And also would have been a much better use of Naomi than this stuff with June. Wouldn’t it have been so soapy if Bill had had his stroke just minutes after the judge ruled in favor of Naomi and her clients? They need more conflict 😉😂😂

Today was a younger character day… except for Leo 😂😂😂😂 And I didn’t mind it, except for Leo. He had absolutely no business being a part of Will and Chad’s reunion. And he didn’t need to share any scenes with Will either, even if they were about John. Again, Ron’s gone lol things like this don’t need to happen anymore. But I’m so glad that Will finally got a scene with Gabi and Ari. We’re finally getting to see their relationship even though Chandler Massey, and Cherie Jimenez too look too young to have an 18 year old child. Ari, knowing and being longtime friends with Holly and Sophia is a total retcon though but I don’t mind it. I enjoyed their scenes today. And I’m looking forward to messy situation that they’re all going to be in, both with Tate and with Doug III. Btw, apparently Doug III is a walking hard on 😂😂😂 And welcome back, Aaron! I know some of y’all don’t like him but I missed him lol. I like how sweet and dorky he is, especially today in his scenes with Sophia. But hopefully his return makes the messy teen situation even messier, though after today, I’m not entirely sure if Days is going to do what we’ve all suspected. I loved Tate and Aaron’s bro hug too 😊😂😂

Yeah… free Derek. And honestly, free Andre too. From both of his women 😂😂😂 I actually enjoyed seeing Smitty in reporter mode. It’s nice seeing his character start to develop. I still think Martin trying to prevent him from going to back to work was way too rushed though and kind of hurt both characters. And I agree with everybody here; Martin and Smitty should have had a love scene (or at least a shirtless scene) before Chelsea and Madison did. I did get that vibe too, a little 😂

Very random. But considering the last few times we saw Austin, he was written like a buffoon lol maybe this time will be different. And hopefully, this will lead to Noah being introduced. He can come work with his grandmother at Titan.

Brook Lynn, FTW! 👏 It was well past the time for somebody to smack the crap out of Lulu and I sure loved seeing it 😂😂 And honestly, Dante needed to get hit too today. But at least he apologized to Chase lol I'm looking forward to seeing this all play out, and the effect that it's going to have on Gio. Speaking of Gio, he looked good again today 😊😂😂 And I'm so happy that he promised to stand by Emma in her quest to find what Dalton is up to. It's definitely time for the two of them to have their first kiss.

The set up for a big Kiriakis family mess was almost perfect, and then it was just ended. I do like the mess that we ended up with, but it could be so much messier than what it is right now.

It warms my heart that Body&Soul has basically been erased from existence 😂😂😂 As for Joy, I can’t help but think that there was a change in direction or a rewrite in her story arc, especially with the way the whole Johnny thing was completely dropped. Happy (belated) 40th Anniversary, Stephen Nichols! The Johnsons were the main focus of today and I really enjoyed it. And we got a ghostly appearance from Adrienne too, which was also nice to see. And, at least Days finally remembered the huge part that Adrienne had in Alex's life. That retcon was always so unnecessary. I like how everything came together for Steve's dinner. It was full of those little sweet, dorky family moments that I always like, especially the trip down memory lane. Steve really has come a long way in 40 years lol and I'm glad that Jada was included in the tribute as well. And, now that Philip is awake, I'm really interested in seeing what's going to happen in that storyline as well. It could go in so many different directions, especially now that Philip decided to lie about Xander. But yeah, Stephanie and Alex definitely need some conflict. Ron's gone lol they don't need to be written as so happy and boring anymore. Stephanie really should have been put back in Philip's orbit. It would've added a really good dynamic to that storyline.

I prefer Xander too. And not just because of all the RSW propping 😂😂 Is it possible that the top 10s are based whatever areas we're in? Because Days, Chicago PD and Yellowstone are in my top 10.
