  1. Well, let's hope Jill doesn't make a surprise appearance. The Nick/Maggie/Sofia triangle is one of my clearest memories from that time
  2. Hey @Gray Bunny, how did this turn out? Are you and your husband still friends with her?
  3. I'm over Van lol but I still think about him from time to time. Let's just say he was my first guy crush that had nothing to do with my teenage hormones 😂😂 But I agree, Chandler is hotter.
  4. Just one look and he had you, right? I get it. The same thing happened to me with Van Hansis back in the day 😂
  5. He does have a great smile. If you don't mind me asking @Soapsuds, how did your admiration for Chandler begin?
  6. I'm curious as to what he thought about Hugh Marlowe. Lemay was so vocal about most of the actors who were there before him, but he never really went in to detail about how he felt about HM, or Michael Ryan either.
  7. I never stood a chance. He's all yours @Soapsuds 😂😂😂
  8. Yep. Walter didn't cry into the scarf as much as Lemay said he did, right? 😂😂
  9. I think when Stefano kidnapped them and held them hostage at Ridgecrest was when they started to become friends. But hey, right now she's bffs with the man that she thought killed her grandson.
  10. Thanks! Seems like a strange way of thinking, but I'm glad they used it to make Liz a completely good character.
  11. For a while they did. They actually got married, but then Tony showed up claiming that he and Liz were still married so her and Don's marriage was invalid. Idk why but they broke up after that and I think Liz went back to Neil briefly. But then Tony and Stefano threatened to kill Neil unless Liz went back to Tony. Neil then turned to Marie.

  13. I love that book! Lemay's attitude and personality may leave a bad taste in your mouth lol but it's still a really good read. Here's an episode that managed to survive the purge. Eddie Drueding also posted some audio clips on his channel from that time period as well.
  14. I don't get it. It seems like such a lucrative opportunity, but P&G just won't do it. Even if it has to do with royalties/residuals, they can't be that expensive. And besides, don't you have to get it in writing in order to receive them? I think that's what happened with The Honeymooners. Audrey Meadows was the only cast member to receive them every time the episodes were shown because she had it written into her contract.
  15. Thanks for the info! I didn't know that. Shows what happens when writers don't do their homework. I did hear a rumor a while ago (it's probably untrue though) that
  16. They didn't know who each other were lol Laura checked herself into a clinic after Peter tried to drive her insane. Idk why but Jack happened to be at the same clinic. One of the conditions of this clinic was that nobody tell each other their real names, Jack and Laura met and introduced themselves as Clark and Monica. And they ended up hooking up. They kept the secret from Jen for a little while, but eventually she found out and married Peter. I know it's a bit of a stretch. You would think that in the years Jack was married to Jen, he would have at least seen a picture of Laura.
  17. Not sure. It might have been done by Youtube itself as opposed to an outside party claiming copyright.
  18. Nope. Sorry.
  19. Agreed
  20. Well... I think I need to take a trip to China
  21. Hey @slick jones, I'm pretty sure he also made a brief appearance on AW as a fireman in 1981, when the mob blew up Cory Publishing.
  22. The Laemmle era strikes me as something along the lines of, if you watched it every day you might as well have been glued to the TV, but when you thought about it in retrospect, you'd think, "Oh wow this was terrible" Maybe Laemmle actually did just pitch a show to the networks and failed every time, only to use all the ideas for that show when she got to DAYS. And it also seems like she used primetime show story pacing on a daytime show, which almost always fails.
  23. Idk I’ll ask him when I see him tonight 😂😂 Just kidding lol I’d never come between you and him
  24. Well, thanks for letting me have that hot blonde guy @Soapsuds, but you can have him too lol I’ve decided that I’ll take this guy instead 😂😂😂😂
