Lee Patterson quit.

Carl Peterson (Ron Raines) was not Jeffrey's uncle - he was his 'mentor' and benefactor, essentially his adoptive father. Peterson was a very well-known business tycoon and philanthropist whose arrival in Llanview was the talk of the town at the end of OLTL 2.0, but it was quickly revealed he was part of the Triskelion cartel - the 'tattoo organization' that had masterminded Victor's abduction and was threatening Todd and his family. Peterson was the emerging new villain on the scene, and quickly began attempting to romance the newly-single Dorian. Jeffrey was working for Peterson and the cartel in secret while posing as Viki's protege - he was drugging Clint to make him unstable. Peterson was also the brother of Alison Perkins, who he'd used to imprison Victor, and who he sent to attack Clint in the 2.0 finale. We never learned who Jeffrey's biological family was, but as they were invested in the character I expect it would've been someone important.

Bad or worse, there's real doubt this week that Kavanaugh will last to the hearing.

Wow - can't believe this is finally getting released. "Thought Gang", Lynch and Badalamenti's music collective, also did most of the songs in FWWM, including "A Real Indication" which played outside Twin Peaks High. I think they did a couple songs in Season 3. The track from Lynch's unmade computer game, Woodcutters From Fiery Ships, is the real shock.

A lot of journos ignored Moses Farrow's very even-handed and rational piece. I expect they'll ignore hers. I don't think what happened with Woody Allen was aboveboard; he is clearly no saint. But the problems in that family went deeper than just him, and I think all the children, including Ronan, Dylan and Moses, have been caught in the middle of it. That being said, the piece itself is uh, yeah.... allowing Woody and Woody's friend the writer into the piece was not a good look.

BTW it was - of course - the far left kids at the Intercept that forced Ford out into public after they took the anonymous story as an excuse to bash Feinstein.

It will be a big deal for the midterms whether we win or lose this week with Kavanaugh himself. Many things have been a big deal this year; this is just one more. There is a reason we are now in striking distance of taking the Senate.
