  1. Thanks for elaborating. Wasn't this one of Michelle Phillips' first acting gigs?
  2. Do you think he improved over time? It's a shame the Ted character was never truly developed, but Todd McKee will always be Ted to me.
  3. They don't, which is a shame. So many good stories could come from effectively mining history.
  4. Thanks for answering. That's a little surprising. It would have been interesting to see Rachel trying to have a real relationship with her father. I guess Mac came on shortly thereafter and made the need for her dad moot.
  5. I think Judith McConnell first aired on SB in October 1984.
  6. Thank you!! Who else did she interact with?
  7. Was Gerald Davis ever seen or heard from again after all this?
  8. My nightly thought tonight is whether or not I would try one of Guy Fieri's "Field of Dreams"-inspired apple pie hot dogs. 😝
  9. Laurie Heineman, who won AW's first acting Emmy as Sharlene Frame, is teaching acting now: https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurie-heineman-3b6a801b
  10. Here's the link to her LinkedIn page. She is also an acting coach. https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurie-heineman-3b6a801b
  11. I don't have the video, but it was Elizabeth Hubbard on The Doctors when Dr. Althea Davis went blind due to her millionth traumatic head injury. This was in 1976, I believe. She was alone in her apartment, banging into things, wailing. It was awful and laughable. Liz Hubbard can usually sell just about anything, but this wasn't one of those times. It was so bad, I made a meme out of it:
  12. The classic tale of putting all your eggs in one basket.
  13. That is terrifying - and sickening. Franklin, TN, is known for being a very "Christian" town. Many of the best known musicians from that genre live there. So does ice-skating legend Scott Hamilton. Again - what a mess.
  14. Yes, the good old days when soap vets were actually homored!!!
  15. Exactly. The saga of Eden and Cruz was SB's stability. Once that was gone, the show was doomed.
  16. If SB had continued, they may well have been the next supercouple of the show. Along with CC and Sophia/Mason and Julia, they could have worked and provided some stability for the show.
  17. I often wonder how the cast filmed one inane story after another while keeping straight faces on camera! Obviously, they knew they weren't doing Shakespeare. 😂
  18. I got a huge kick out of that. How can you not like someone who knits cozies for his Olympic medals? 🏅
  19. I wish them all the best. I felt really bad for her with the Justin Hartley fallout.
  20. I actually made a playlist of Eden and Cruz's themes. "The Change in Me is You", "Shelter From the Storm", "The Night Goes On", "A Little Bit of Heaven", etc. SB did use a lot of songs for them!! 😉
  21. Brian Stelter of CNN has already updated his book Hoax, which was only first released less than a year ago.
  22. I read in Gerry Waggett's Soap Opera Encyclopedia that Michelle Phillips was on SFT in 1983.
  23. Last night, Barbra Streisand was a guest of Jimmy Fallon's:
  24. I say it's a toss-up. 😳😝😂
  25. I was thinking the same thing. What a mess.
